I called to get an ETA for fixing a flat tire and was told 30-40 minutes. Sounded reasonable, so I came in 1 1/2 hours later STILL NO CAR! Very frustrating. AND they charged me $52 for a patch! Expensive! The only reason they get 2 stars is for friendly service. Last time I ignore google reviews!I'm adding a star and editing my review slightly because at the end the employee who was helping me was very kind and he took the time to figure out how to turn off the low tire pressure alert in my Volvo, which completely escaped the Walmart and Discount tires auto shop folks. They couldn't figure it out. This guy did and it's appreciated. Again...friendly and professional service, just way too slow and a bit pricey for a simple tire repair.

Approximately a week ago, I brought my car to this service center due to starting problems (No check engine light or any other issues). Despite being charged $2100 for their services, now my car has a check engine light , accompanied by overheating and a coolant too hot warning.Upon notifying the mechanic Jermy , I was assured that the problem would resolve itself within 2-3 days of driving. However, when the issues persisted, I returned to the service center for further diagnosis. After a day, I was presented with an additional estimate of $1800 for repairs. Opting not to proceed immediately, I was then informed that my car, which I had driven to the service center, was now in such a condition that it had to be towed.Feeling deceived, I reluctantly paid $1864 to retrieve my car. Regrettably, the check engine light reappeared after just three days of driving.Now I am scared to go back to this shop again.

I have been taken my vehicles to Carfix Center for at least 20 some years and will continue to do so in years to come. My current 2007 vehicle, maintained at this place since I bought it new, has passed over 341K miles and should go few more years besed on its performance. Fred and Jeremy have done me well, they spend time explain the problems and discuss solutions with me. I am an engineer and know a little about cars, so I like their approach and believe you will be satisfied with their service as well..

My 2006 Ford Focus has needed many repairs the last few years, but I had not been satisfied with the repair shops I took it to because of shoddy workmanship. So I was really glad to find Car Fix Center because they explain their findings of what needs to be done, and give a fair price quote, which doesn't change, and is what I pay. They even contact my warranty plan to find out what's covered for me.This is a trustworthy repair shop, and they guarantee their work.

Hey everybody, it makes no difference what kind of vehicle you have. These guys are pros, and they know what they're doing. They even guarantee their work. I was looking for a good repair shop, and I'm damn sure I found it. You can trust the guys at Car Fix Center.In response to some of the negative reviews here, I just have to say, that I was a mechanic for many years, and some of these people apparently don't know anything about their own cars. They should do a little research before writing negative reviews. I have not been paid, just treated fairly.

Amazing please, excellent service. Let me explain a little bit here. I drive a 2023 BMW i7 and a 2022 Merc Benz EQS now, before that I used to drive Lexus LS 460 L and Lexus GX 460. Their prices are comparable, if not cheap. They are definitely not 'super cheap' but prices are comparable. However, the service, craftman ship, attention to detail, knowledge and know how is top notch. I am very picky and very finicky, with my cars, I need absolute precision and quality work. The equipment and gear they carry in the workshop is second to none! Spotless clean workshop/workarea, that speak volumes about quality of their work. For example they are the only place that I know around that carries actual Nitrogen! Most places carry air. Some of the diagnostic equipment and code they are detect are dealer grade! I took my cars to some other places, they don't even have equipment to read those complex codes. Now, I have seen some other folks leaving some negative reviews, I totally disagree with my personal experience for close to a decade now! I don't drive cheap cars, and they are able to match my funky, demanding, exacting expectations. The quality of work they do and equipment they carry is dealer grade! For lesser than dealer pricing. Highly recommended with 5 stars.

These guys tell it how it is. They aren t pushy, and they help troubleshoot nagging issues. Always a good experience taking my vehicles here. Trustworthy, honest, customer focused, and all around nice people. If you have questions they ll work to give you a satisfactory answer and get your car back on the road.

Fred and Jeremy were helpful and open to explain exactly what issues I was having with my car and seemed to value my time and customer satisfaction. Although because they are so thorough this could lead to a longer wait time! I will be using CarFix if I have any other issues. Give them a try.

People should absolutely avoid having work done at this establishment. Call for a quote before even making an appointment. You will see the prices are absurdly high, the customer service is nonexistent and the level of apathy is through the roof. Fred absolutely doesn't care if you're a customer or not. Ladies, don't even bring your car in for an inspection. As you can see by the many negative reviews this is not a place to go. I am not a car dealer and this poor excuse for a mechanic will run out of excuses check out yelp. Crook and sheister! BUYER BEWARE!!!I m not a used car dealer and as you can see by the extreme number of negative reviews, Fred is a scammer. Check out the 45 negative reviews on Yelp too. He pays people for positive reviews.FYI: I m not a car dealer and Fred is still a scammer

I am not from Texas and it just happened that my 2016 Chevy Traverse needs an oil change when I was there. First I would like to say that I wish they have a branch in Miami, Florida. The facility is clean and everyone was very nice. Second, the staff are very honest and do not upsell any types of service. Third the price is reasonable. I highly recommend this place!Service: Oil change

They fixed up some engine trouble I had been unable to solve myself, and did it quite competently too. The cost of repair wasn t too bad considering the complexity of the engine problem. If something serious or complicated happens to your car that you can t patch up yourself then I d recommend coming here.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I have been doing business with Fred and Jeremy for about 10 years now. Primarily for new tires, alignment, and oil change. They are a AAA Shop and are very knowledgeable. I believe Fred the owner has been in the auto industry for 30 plus years. Sometimes you may not want to hear about your vehicle problems, but he speaks the truth. Today I am replacing some fairly expensive tires on my Ford F250. If you get tired of dealing with a Chain tire store and long waits on your vehicle come check out Car Fix. Usually I do my business here but unfortunately this time I did not I called up here to see how much it would cost to change two fuel filters on my f-250 only to find out they were $100 more than the place I tried at first and $200 more than the place I took it to. I don t understand the cost to change these parts when a competitor down the road charged me $107 for both This place wanted to charge me $397!!! People do your homework before you just take it somewhere. I hate to leave this review honestly but us customers work too hard to just blow our money to pay for the overhead of your shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had great service at this place. Dropped off my car to get a new battery and the AC wasn't blowing cold. It took just a few hours to have the work done and I picked it up and it works like new. I am not happy with their service, and specific to the Manager Jeremy. He has misled me multiple times by misdiagnosing the root cause of the problem causing me to pay multiple times. This seems to be their modus operandi (their common way of doing business).Additional comment to the response of the Owner of the shop (Mr Fred):Mr Fred, thank you for your quick response. First, my response to your starting comment "Facts & integrity is the corner stone of our facility and operation", I am sorry that I could not disagree more.As for your misleading the customer, this is how you do it. But before that, I want to point out a misinformation in your response item # 1. My car was never in your shop on Feb 28, 2022. Please check your facts. Now back to misleading...1- When I brought in my car on 12/23/2021 at 87117 miles for an oil and filter change, your shop comments "oil leaking from the oil pan gasket and the oil filter housing" - but you recommend "replacing integrated valve cover with oil separator" (which I did on 03/26/22). In your response item # 3, once again you mention the wrong information of 2/28/22. In the same item # 3, you clearly mention that "after the repair no other leaks were detected". That is also false, because I found oil leak in my garage after this repair. So, there was a leak, and then no leak, and back to leak again. And to me this is very misleading and confusing.2 - I have checked with other competent repair shops who typically diagnose oil leak problem with a "dye test" to pin point the source of leakage. You yourself explained that procedure to me when I saw you last. But this test was never done to my car. Why not?To conclude, Mr Fred, I remain a dissatisfied ex-customer of yours.

172.00 for an oil change, I've come here a couple times, today will be my last. Also got a quote for $1260.00 for a two wheel brake job.For an extra 70 dollars this guy just lost a repeat customer

SCAMMERS!!!!! Everyone has to watch out for this place.My father in law went for oil change for his Nissan Rouge, and expecting about cost for $70. He doesn't understand English at all, and they robbed him. They claimed that they did other services for the car such as tire alignment and transmission flush. The car is less than 30K miles, and need transmission flush? They replaced the two front tires while it can last at least another 15K miles. They charged him more than $1,400 for services that he didn't request for. Who would expect more than $1,400 one time regular maintenance cost for a Nissan Rouge.I know he is not the first victim for this place, but I really want others to be aware the way they do business there so there will be no more victims.Service: Oil change

Welcome to the world of fake news and fake reviews that is damaging the fabric of our society today. I have been going to this repair shop for over 15 years. I have never had a negative experience, never been given bad service. They always fix my car right, are very professional and courteous. I have recommended this shop to my family and friends, and none of them have ever told me about a bad experience at Carfix Center. I just don't believe these 1 star nonsense lies about a good and honest repair shop.

Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable repairs on my vehicle. Price quoted to me was better than the dealer and the larger competitor in the area that originally had my vehicle. I felt comfortable leaving my car with them, and actually had my car moved from where the diagnostic was done to this repair shop. They are also recommended by AAA car service and I was able to take advantage of the discounts afforded to me by having AAA.

1/18/2021 reply to owner claiming you guys fixed it at charge and the bent wiper happened because of the opened hood.First of all, no it was not replaced!! I had to get it fixed elsewhere. Also, it did not happen because of the hood. I was literally driving in the rain, and it randomly bent. And YES I still remember when this happened, so please don t say otherwise. Terrible service and 3 years later you want to reply and claim it was fixed at no charge??Completely appalled with the manager Jeremy. I got my wipers done a month ago, and one of them went out a week later while I was driving. I just came to get it replaced and he wanted me to pay for when it wasn't my fault. He's tried explaining how it wasn't a company defect and that someone bent it.Like who would bend my wiper? Seriously. He continued to mention how it wasn't his problem and wind doesn't bend metal. Well yes I know this. So explain to me how it was bent a week after I had it done?

They gave me my vehicle back with an off centered steering wheel,And had the audacity to say there's something else is wrong with my vehicle."Come back for camber&caster adjustment for another $150".Service: Wheel alignment

I hate to give negative review. But I think I need to give a negative review at this time.My car need alignment since I replaced the tires. When I called this shop to request a quote, they gave me a quote that seemed to be reasonable. But when they started their checkup, they charged me additional 10+ dollars misc fees that was not on the original quote. In addition, they started to charge more on the rear wheel alignment because they claimed that the first quote was for front wheel alignment only. Eventually they charged me way more than the same service in other shops when I finally called a couple of other shops to compare.I think they are pretty deceptive and try to milk customers whenever possible. I hate to say bad words, but it is important to let others know what was going now for this experience.

In my way to a graduation a few weeks ago, my tire went real low. Stopped here and they inspected and patched it up for next to nothing. Super nice inside to wait in too. Jeremy was pro - Great customer service. I told him I'd oost the good review so here I am. If I lived in the area, I'd go here for my car problems.

I visited Car Fix first time a while ago to get my Chevy impala 2008 battery terminals replaced. The job was done right away without any delay and the charges were very reasonable. Also I was given discount being AAA member. Definitely recommend to my family and friends to visit them for any car issues.

I have been using car fix center to service both my cars - oil change and repair. They do quality work and are very reliable, have brought potential problems in the car to my attention and have helped prioritize the most pressing repair. I feel uncomfortable taking my cars for service, anywhere else!

My first time feeling so compelled as to write a Google review. Absolutely abhorrent.They tried to scam me out of almost $1000 in fixes that were irrelevant to the STATE INSPECTION that I brought it in for. (Failed 3 tires and insisted that the drive belts needed to be replaced in order to pass)When I asked them to explain the failed inspection (with the state inspection guidelines presented on my phone), he replied with a scowl "I'm not going to spell it out for you. I've done it so many times and I already told you what was wrong." 30 seconds later he had the audacity to turn around, smile, and say "alright, so we can knock it all out for you for ~$800."If I could give negative stars, I would.By the way, it's also worth mentioning that I brought it to a different shop, Auto Check, who would then pass the car with no replacements necessary. No hassle. Straight forward and easy.

Great place for oil change! These guys changed my oil and filter, 77 point check on my car, rotated my tires and even tested my battery for a total of $19.77 after taxes. They only offered this special on Tuesday thru Thursday, so I will have to switch cars with my wife next week since she can t go in the middle of the week.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
