My minivan was leaking lots of oil. Nobody is town wad available until a week later, except Lc's. Not only did they quickly identify what the problem was, but they also changed the part within two days, and I got my minivan back just in time for our move. I recommend them for quick and thorough repairs.

I highly recommend this shop for its friendly and professional customer service. My car had trouble in the middle of a road trip. I called ahead and Jeremy waited until the tow truck got me there and he got my car up and running for me the same day. I cannot express enough how positive my experience was with them. They went above and beyond to help us. Our fuel pump went out on our vacation and they helped us completely. If your in this neighborhood I would definitely use them above anyone else. Reasonably priced and great customer service

Wanted to give a BIG shout out to LC s automotive. If your kiddo is having issues with their vehicle I highly recommend this business!!! Our daughters low oil pressure light was flickering off and on this past Saturday around 4:00pm. I had remembered seeing a previous post on Tarleton Parent Association about them, so my husband gave them a call. They close at 6:00 on Saturday s. They said if she can get it here we will take a look at it. She went there right away. Diagnosed a bad sensor. They went and got the part and changed it out and she was able to drive home that night without any issues since. Completely done before 6pm too! Best customer service and they were so kind and professional too!!! Highly recommend them!!!

LC was very fair in pricing. They looked for the best price for parts while I was there and he even lowered his labor charges quite a bit for me. Great job on my car, work done fast and efficiently. I definitely recommend!

Stopped in to check our tire pressure, LC filled them up for us and was super friendly. Seems to be extremely reasonable prices & a place that will take care of you.

Had our car break down in Hico and Brandy at LC was able to walk us through getting a tow at a time when all auto places were starting to close. They have some of the best service and hospitality I ve experienced and they put so much care into what they do. They got our car up and running and we were able to continue our road trip. I recommend them 100% and am so appreciative of their warm welcome and help during a very stressful time!Service: General repairs & maintenance

03/21/2023.Went for a CV axile job and got a full mechanical free check up for my 2012 Highlander.Very wonderful people.Will recommend to anyone who is passing through I20 West towards Abilene/Midland.

This Mom and Pop comes off as if they are helping these college kids but instead I feel that they are taking advantage of them. I feel they operate like true shade tree mechanics. First red flag is that they only take cash or cash app as payment. Second red flag, they made my son pay for for a part before they did the work. My son didn't know better and payed for it. Furthermore, they are taking on jobs without the proper equipment to fully fix your problem. My son was having an issue with his power steering. After having the car for two months, they claimed to have fixed it. My son picked the car up and before he could get home, the power steering went out again. This happened twice. They then tell me that the car needed to be programmed and that they dont have the proper equipment to fix it. I asked "well, why did you take the job if you knew you didn't have the equipment to program it?" LC replied "We missed it, but we did save you some money." Which is a lie, and an inconvenience because my sons car is still not fixed, he's been stranded twice and we have to go to another dealer. He also claimed that he would help get my sons car towed to the dealer but never did. I tried calling back to give them a chance to rectify the situation, but instead I was greeted by LC addressing me as "boy" and not by my name. I'm not sure if this is something that's normal in Stephenville, but where I'm from, we don't address grown men as "boy." He then threatened to sue me for defamation for writing this REVIEW. Saying, "I don't appreciate you attacking my business online...you don't know how this thing works boy." I replied, "I don't appreciate the way you guys took advantage of my son." Again, we had to take his car to Triple Crown Ford to get it programmed because they did not have the proper equipment to finish the job. I feel these people are scamming these college kids and they need to be stopped. Right now, I'm in the process of looking into makin sure that they even did the work that they claimed to have done because I seen a review that said that they never replaced a part from another client. If so, I will be looking to sue these people. This place needs to be shut down!!!!This is a REVIEW and recap of my experience with LC's btwService: General repairs & maintenance

LC could've taken my wallet for a ride, but was super upfront and honest and told me he wasn't the best person for a specific repair. He referred me to someone who is, and more importantly, was the only mechanic open on the weekend when I had time to take my truck in. Will definitely use LC for any work in the future.

We ve had some issues with our 2007 Ford Mustang since moving to stephenville, and we will only ever take it here! They are so transparent and willing to work with customers! My daughter just moved to Stephenville two weeks ago to attend Tarleton. Her truck stalled out while driving and would not start. We were thinking the worst. After reading the reviews, I chose LC's as the place to have her take her truck. They did not disappoint. Not only, did they take her truck right in when she called to have it towed, but they fixed it completely in 2 hours for less than $100. Not only did they fix the problem and get her truck running again, but they reprogrammed her tire sensors that hadn't worked right for 8 months since she got new tires. This place is honest and fair to the college student and great place to do business!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

They were amazing! They helped us out when our Suburban broke down. They even stayed late so we could continue our drive back to Utah. Super nice and easy to work with! Definitely go to these guys! Thanks again LC's Automotive.

Our daughter is a college student and we are from Colorado. We towed her car ( a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee) down at the beginning of the school year 2018-2019 with the thought that it probably wouldn't make the 800 plus mile trip. When we got in to town LC's was recommended. I called them up, explained our situation and what we thought needed to be done. Explaining what work we had already done, new timing chain and gears, water pump, alternator, oil pan seal and a few other minor things. We were able to drop it off that same day.LC and his team looked over the Jeep and told us what needed to be done, fix the a/c, power steering pump, steering gear box and we asked about a possible bad ground that was draining the battery.He called us the next day with a quote. We agreed. His mechanic found the short causing the battery to drain and didn't charge us for that fix. We got the Jeep back the next day. Great work..A few months later we bought our daughter new tires. Told her to get them mounted and take it in for an alignment. (LC doesn't do alignments) � The alignment place said they wouldn't do the the alignment because the steering gear box was bad or to loose. We called LC's. He told us to bring it in. The steering gear box was from a bad batch and he and his team installed a new one, no charge.Then a few more months later my daughter started to get "death wobbles". I knew it was her front sway bar, but was hoping it could wait til we got it back to Colorado. I called LC. Had it in, new sway bar and bushings done.Just drove her Jeep back to Colorado with NO issues. �For a car that is almost 25 years old and my daughter 800 plus miles away. I highly recommend LC and his team. Any time I have called they remember us or at least the Jeep and what has been done. Great customer service and an honest ma and pop mechanic.Oh...one more thing...I guess as a surprise...one of his team found a bad relay in the cruise control. ( it never worked since we bought the car). Just to see, I tried the cruise on the drive back to Colorado and it worked! �Another "Easter egg" that was never mentioned or billed!Thank you LC and your Team

Our car broke down on our drive to El Paso (a while back) and the guys a LC's really looked after us. Not all repairs were able to be done here (we needed something specific) but they put us in contact with another store and towed us over there for free. LC s was so great to work with. We were driving through when our water pump gave out and they got us right in even though they were closing for the day and gave us a good deal on a new pump. They got us taken care of and back on the road quickly. Thank you so much for all your help!

L.C. and Crew helped me get back on the road within an hour of bringing my Ford Explorer Sport Trac into the shop. Quick work on the diagnostic and had parts here within 30 minutes. Was on the way home from Weatherford to San Antonio when I broke down outside of Stephenville. So far so good never had an issue. Always helps me out and takes care of me. I still go there to this day and nothing that he has fixed has broke again. All my cars are over 10years old and 200K + miles and he keeps them going.

Every time I've been in here I've had nothing but amazing service. LC and all his employees are so sweet and are more than willing to work with you and your budget. My senile truck will almost always come here for oil changes, sensor replacements, and anything else it needs while I'm in stephenville.

I would rate lower than one star if I could. I took my vichle in for an engine swap. He quoted me a fair price and a 3 week time window he proceeded to tell me it would cost more and take longer. He finally finished just over 3 months later and I only got 500 miles out of the engine and it threw a rod. He refused to work on or even look at it saying it was my fault. I will never go back here or even suggest this place to my worst enemy.

L C is a good guy and isnt in the business of ripping off or taking advantage of people. His knowledge of vehicles is great, and the work is done in a timely manner. The shop is average sized and the staff smaller, but that leads to more focused attention to the vehicles he has in shop. I would recommend LC's to anyone.
