I was at Jim's repair shop and he adjusted my brake switch for free and it was done in less than 10 minutes!!! He's great friends with my mother and she highly recommends this garage. Thanks. Jim!

My car's A/C compressor had failed, but it also had been freezing up for a long time. Other shops could never solve that problem.Jim C spent quite a bit of time researching that problem. Clearly, he has a lot of experience. When he replaced the system, it also solved the freezing problem. All work was very professional and for a fair price. We will be back.

Great experience with these guys. Did a great job on my wife's car and saved me at least $300.00 I cant recommend these guys enough. I went somewhere else and another shop wanted to charge me "at least $1000.00" before even looking at my car. Then I went to Crissman's and learned what a good mechanic should be like, they took the time to look at my car and gave me a fair price. You wont find a better place to take good care of your car. Thank You Mr. Jim you guys are awesome.

I normally take care of my repairs as best I can but I came to see Jim when I couldn't quite figure out what was still giving me issues, and he was able to quickly diagnose the issue and gave me some advice to get things running, can't recommend him enough.

I am so thankful to Jim and Crissman's Auto! I am new to the area and my in-laws recommended Jim because he is honest and does a great job. I actually had my car towed from another auto shop and I am so glad I did! Jim gave me a more correct and honest diagnosis and Crissman's saved me hundreds of dollars. Thank You!

Crissman's Automobile Repair will be my forever vehicle maintenance and repair place of business. As a woman, I believed that continuing to be loyal and use the dealership in which I purchased my vehicle from that they would continue to be the same for me. Well, No more dealership repairs or maintenance for my vehicle. Crissman's very honest, reliable, dependable, so that now I will only be repairing or replacing what is actually necessary or needed on my vehicle. I am from WI but was looking to buy a used car in Stafford. I contacted Jim to see if he would look at the car and let me know if he thought it was mechanically sound. He quoted me a very reasonable price for this service. After spending only a few minutes with the vehicle he told me "to keep on looking" and refused payment for his services since it only took him a few minutes. If I lived in the area, Jim would be my mechanic. Those who live in the area are blessed to have a mechanic with such high integrity.

Outstanding! The first time I went to Jim Crissman was because of these glowing reviews, so I think it's time to write my own. Jim is by far the most honest and considerate mechanic I have ever taken my car to in 15 years. It's clear that he cares about people and doing things right more than he cares about making lots of money. As an example, I had a broken gear shift that other places were quoting $150+, so I never fixed it... just lived with it. When Jim saw it while working on my car, without my even asking him to fix it, he decided to print out detailed instructions with a website to order the exact parts for $15 plus a link to a quick how-to video on YouTube. He saved me a lot of money, and he earned my trust. He has always been just as knowledgeable and considerate every time I come in. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family in the Stafford/Sugar Land/Missouri City area. I'm really happy to have found such a trusted, reliable mechanic in the area.

Jim Crissman, the owner, is a great guy and awesome at what he does. Above all, I am 100% positive he will always be honest and shoot me straight, no small thing with auto repair places. If you are looking for a good, honest repair facility, Crissman Auto is your place. Wouldn't take my truck anywhere else!

I have taken my cars to Chrissman's Automotive for more than 30 years. Jim and his dad before are fair priced Quality workmanship. You know how much and when you're car will be ready BEFORE any work is started. Really the only mechanic you will ever need.

FINALLY, an honest and extremely competent auto repair! I live in Houston and brought my car on a recommendation from a friend that has been using them for years.... After a frustratingly overpriced bid from the Toyota dealership! Jim was honest with me about an expensive repair that I will need, but can wait a few months to get done. Took the pain out of the repair I did have to get immediately ! Thanks Jim

My family has sent every car we've ever had issues with to Jim Crissman. He is not only an honest man, but provides wonderful customer service. Recently, our alternator went out and he was able to repair it within the same day for a fair price. He will be our mechanic FOR LIFE!! :-) Thank you Mr. Crissman!

Honest, knowledgeable, and proficiently skilled, what more could you ask for in an auto mechanic?This gentleman, Jim Crissman, and his staff have earned my utmost respect. I first sought his help last year after a local station told me that my oil pan needed replacing, to the tune of $600+. My truck was in for an oil change and the station said that the plug was severely stripped and beyond replacement or repair. I choked on their estimate and limped down the road to Crissman's, having remembered a friend's praise of his shop. Jim inspected the pan, ordered a $6 plug and installed it, and it has kept its seal for every oil change (performed by him) ever since. We have a pretty raggedy fleet of older vehicles and he has worked on our transmissions, ACs, timing belts, etc... He understands our budget and he lets us know what must be done and what can wait or be repaired by us at home.He is reasonably priced, prompt to repair, and above all, a man of integrity. I recommend him and his shop without reservation. Grateful for folks like him!

He was easy to talk to over them phone. Took care of my daughters car in a timely fashion and was able to do it for less than he'd quoted.Turns out other shops who'd diagnosed and quoted repairs were waaay over what needed to be done.He was a HUGE BLESSING to our family.

Ladies - Our vehicles cause us on occasion great anxiety. Forget dealerships' service departments. My experiences with Crissman's Auto Repair have been affordable solutions to any problem my vehicle is experiencing. I urge you to consider bringing your vehicle to Crissman's Auto Repair the next time it requires repairs or assessment of a problem. Mr. Crissman is off the chart professional, very knowledgeable, identifies the cause of a problem, relays the information in lay mind conversation so you feel an empowered part of the repair process.

Introduced to Crissman Automotive by a church friend. Had minor work on vehicles over past several years but recently needed extensive work on my old pickup truck, emissions, suspension and brakes. All work done in a timely manner at very reasonable price.
