I haven't needed to use Mark's services in a while, but he is great for general repairs. I have gotten more into changing my oil and doing small repairs myself, because I enjoy tinkering. But if I have any questions or a repair is too much for me or I don't have time, I won't hesitate to stop by. He has a great apprentice too who is very knowledgeable. If you are having an issue, it's a great shop to stop by.

I've been stressing over fixing my car and brought it here cause my coworkers had great things to say about Mark and they were right! I was kept updated the whole process, he's very honest, and the prices are great for the quality and quickness of their work. My husband and I are definitely coming here again.

Integrity, honest and stands by his work.Long story short. Had a new radiator installed in my wife's car. This new radiator was defective (from a parts supplier) and caused engine coolant to leak into the transmission, which damaged the transmission and required a replacement. Mark replaced the radiator and transmission at no cost to us. Not many auto care companies would be this honest. Thank you Mark.

Mark & his crew are the absolute BEST in the business. My family and I have been taking our vehicles to him for years and have always received great service. Specifically for my old truck, Mark made sure it was always in the best shape. He would do tune ups and check/replace all of the parts that could be an issue for me before I would make my drives back to college, ensuring that it would get me to school safe (it always did). His customer service is also top notch. He would always answer my phone calls and texts about little issues I would have and walk me through how to fix something if I was away from home. When I got older, they assisted in selling my truck for me and even though I have a brand new truck, I do miss going to Northampton Car Care and talking with Mark and his crew. Please take your car here. If there were 10 stars, it would not be enough. The customer service and integrity with which Northampton works is unmatched. I would drive any distance to have them work on my vehicles. You will not find a better, more reputable mechanic around!

I took my car here with my husband, and the guy Mark was hostile and unprofessional. Then he overcharged us. On a side note, the waiting area was small and unpleasant due to the tension in there, so we decided to go somewhere else to wait. Wish we had followed our instincts after seeing signs hanging behind the counter like don't ask about how I do things unless you want to be hit with a wrench. There's all these subtle signs suggesting he doesn't like questions or even conversation. At one point, he just stared at my husband with hate in his eyes after he asked a simple question about a part.

During a routine oil change for my Honda Accord at the Honda dealership, I was told I needed to replace my timing belt and that it would cost me over $1,300 to fix it. I had heard about Northampton Auto from several folks on one of the local community apps, so I brought my vehicle in to get a second opinion. Upon talking to Mark about the issue, he was adamant that my vehicle likely did not need a new timing belt. He thoroughly inspected my vehicle and confirmed that the timing belt was in good shape. More importantly, he didn't charge me anything.Just this week, I was having issues with the starter on my vehicle. I purchased the part and brought my vehicle in to Mark to replace it. While I was waiting for the repair, I was talking to a few other customers in the waiting area. They all agreed on several things: Mark and his staff are honest, courteous, and do great work at a fair price. I also overheard Mark telling other customers that they did not need the repairs that other mechanics were suggesting. Needless to say, Northampton will remain as my go-to shop for all my car repair needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mark and his guys are always quick, prompt, and work to keep their customers coming back with good old fashioned customer service and honesty. We do 99.9% of all of our car repair work with them and they are always great to work with. They do great work and also stand behind their warranty if a part they installed has an issue. It is always a pleasure to see Mark and do business with him. Mark and the guys have been servicing my vehicles for over 20 yrs. Theres a reason the lot stays full - Hes been doing excellent work for a long time in front of Northampton. Cant say enough good things about them. I was looking for a good mechanic, as we recently relocated to this area and have older cars. I heard good things about NorthHampton Auto. I brought my car in there, Mark was very polite and troubleshot the problem, than also communicated the solution. I was given very good service at a very fair price. On top of this, Mark sent someone over to pick me up and brought me back to the shop to pick up the car. I can t recommend Mark and his business strongly enough. It is so rare to have a positive experience with any business these days, much less an automotive shop. I needed to have my car inspected before a cross-country trip due to a death in the family. Not only did Mark make time for me that morning, but was done in less than an hour and had thrown in a free oil change. Unheard of! Rest easy knowing you are taking your car to a kind, conscientious shop owner.

I strongly recommend everyone bring their automobile issues to Mark at Northampton Automotive. I moved here a few years ago and was very nervous about finding somewhere I could trust to work on my cars. I am so grateful to have found Mark. You can count on him and TRUST him, which is such a comfort for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

You may not be overwhelmed by the facility, but the service, integrity, knowledge, and price are all absolutely unbeatable. I won't take my cars anywhere else. I have had a great experience 5 or 6 times now. One of the times that I went over there, they did an oil and service on my son's car, my son is a U.S. Marine stationed in North Carolina, the owner at the time gave me the bill ($0) at the end and said that this one was "on the house." Although I made him let me pay for it, the gesture was overwhelming and showed true character. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LITTLE SHOP.

Had a simple request to check tire pressure. The owner, Mark Vanveen personally took care of the car. I mentioned that the front tire had been reported low for the second time. He inspected and sure enough found a nail.Mark promptly plugged it and had me on my way in no time. His service was unconditional. Thank you, I'll return soon.
