I have used Rene for years. I don't take my cars anywhere else. He used to be a troubleshooter at Mercedes and he really knows these cars. He is honest, knows what he is doing and does not take shortcuts or do shoddy work. Much less than the dealer and have never had a problem with anything he has worked on. Will continue to use him any time the car has an issue. Great mechanic. Great person. Gets my highest recommendation.

Renee actually took the time to discuss the issue my CL550 was experiencing in detail over the phone, asking many questions and even providing advice on things I could try on my own since I'm somewhat mechanical. I ended up taking the car in to have him code the new fuel injectors I installed, and again, he was just the nicest guy. For anyone that owns a Mercedes, do yourself a favor and have Renee and team at European Autowerks service your car. It will save you a ton of time, money and the risk of being ripped off by a dealership or mechanic that does not know the brand so thoroughly.

I am a novice Car Guy, never knowing a single thing about cars before getting my first, and only project car. Recently, while attempting to do repairs on the vehicle, I hit metaphorical wall, no amount of online research was providing the right help for me until on a whim I called this company for some advice, and the team here was more than happy to help, it didn t cost either one of us anything more than time, but as you may know, time is money, so I am very grateful for them for noticing a struggling novice, and being kind enough to help that alone makes me feel that they deserve five stars

I highly recommend this shop if you're a Benz owner and need service on your vehicle. The shop owner was great, thorough and straight forward. He addressed everything I had a concern with and also performed the service my vehicle required. He was very accommodating with my work schedule as well for pick up and drop off. I rate this shop at a 5 star rating !!!! Will definitely be back for my future services on my mercedes.

I found this company while doing some research for a good Mercedes mechanic in our area. This is our 3rd Mercedes and have used the dealership with the first two, but have become less pleased with them. I contacted Rene by text and he immediately responded and provided good information up-front. I scheduled the A service for this week with Rene for our 2022 Mercedes CLC-300 and could not have asked for more. The responsiveness, thorough explanation of the work that was required to be done (it only has 4100-miles), promptness in getting the work done and Rene's honesty & friendly attitude was a refreshing change. The price being about half of the "vague" pricing given by the dealership was great also.I am thankful I came across this business and I will be using Rene again the next time the car needs servicing and for any other issues that arise.Would recommend Rene and European Autowerks of Spring..Service: Auto maintenance

FYI.. if you don t pick up the car at the time they tell you, be prepared to be told they ve been waiting all day. They must assume we don t have jobs and that we are just sitting down waiting.Unprofessional as well, the owner/mechanic did not bother explaining what was done to the vehicle today. Quote: If you have any questions on the service of your car just look at the booklet and proceeded to indicate keys are in the car.As a former business owner, I understand that wanting to come back is important.Take your service to where you re going to be at least explained what was done with your vehicle.

Looking for a Mercedes Benz Master mechanic that is detailed oriented, professional, honest, thorough in his approach to troubleshooting, incredible problem solver with your German designed car? Then you must do business with Mr. Renee Martinez! He is extremely knowledgeable with all models of Mercedes Benz, and especially with my 300SD 1983. My car became a submarine from Hurricane Harvey at my mothers driveway! Over 30" filled my car with the raising waters in our neighborhood. I had a flat bed trailer bring my car to European Autowerks. Renee helped me with not only getting my car running, but even showed me how to find parts online, even at a LKQ junk yard, where you take the parts off yourself! Renee has been instrumental in teaching me how to repair my car. I have learned an incredible amount of mechanically reasoning, from: how to isolate a problem from troubleshooting, use of specialized tools, use of factory shop manuals no longer in print, proper sequence of repairing or replacing a defective part. One example involving my car, the dash pad was cracked so bad from age and Houston heat. I wanted to replace it. Renee said, the only way to find a new or like new pad for that car would be from another car sitting in a junk yard! Due to Mercedes Benz no longer makes or even stocks that part. So Renee took the time to explain how to remove the dash, with what tools to take to remove the dash pad at the junk yard. Renee has the ability to talk to you in a simple polite teaching method about your car. You will learn about your car more so then any other Mercedes Benz mechanic here on the North side of Greater Houston. He has the proper tools, car lifts, clean neat air conditioned shop, customer lounge. Renee is not only my mechanic, but my best friend. You will not find a more caring man regarding the proper repair procedures to get your German engineered car back on the road again. My car is running and driving!

So glad we found Rene and Keith. Customer service was great, Keith was quick with a battery replacement on our GLA 250. By far, the best and most honest price we could find. I called Renee yesterday to find out how to write him a review! First, Renee was highly recommended through our Next door website for high quality expertise for Mercedes Benz vehicle repair. Renee first impressed me when I called him initially because of his positive demeanor. I explained that I was having issues with my Mercedes Benz S600 with a phantom draw on my battery. Renee explained that it was a very difficult issue to find but he agreed to see what he could do? HE DID, & found the issue quickly & returned my car within a very short period of time. Renee is my New Best Friend! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Every time I get in my car now & hear my engine roar, I thank Renee!

I am SO HAPPY that I found Rene and his Mercedes mechanic shop, Spring European Autowerks! Rene and Keith are both very knowledgeable, skillful, helpful, and honest professionals. We brought 2 Mercedes vehicles to the shop recently - one for Service B and one for new rear brake pads / rotors and they adjusted the emergency brake. Each service was done very well and in a timely manner (same day service)! Rene was transparent about which parts were needed and the pricing - and he only purchases and installs Mercedes/OEM branded parts into your vehicle. He also doesn t pressure or scare you into buying services you may not need. Before finding Spring European Autowerks, we used to always bring our vehicles to Mercedes dealerships. They are great too, but very expensive - especially for older models with higher mileage. Do yourself a huge favor and contact Rene to chat more about your Mercedes vehicle and services / repairs you need for a quote. I highly recommend!

I recently moved to Houston from California; I own an E350 Mercedes Benz. I have been looking for a good mechanic and have been to a couple car repair shops for oil change and brake job; however, their fees for repairs charges are like a Mercedes Benz dealership. I was lucky a friend referred me to Rene (owner of European Autowerks who specializes in foreign cars); he knows what he s doing and charges a fair price. Just had my Mercedes CLA250 A service with Rene & Keith.I couldn t be more pleased and thankful I came across this business.Total came out to be 1/3 the price Mercedes of the Woodlands was going to charge me.However, what stood out beyond the money savings was the genuine kindness, honesty and thorough knowledge I felt coming from Rene every time we spoke on the phone & finally meeting in person.I ll be using European Autowerks for anything and everything concerning my car in the future.

Rene is awesome! He came highly recommended from a family friend and although his shop is a good 45+ minutes from my house, I will not take my car anywhere else. Rene is extremely knowledgeable and he is a true professional. His shop is unbelievably clean. He explained everything that was going with my car and he was able to fix my car in a timely manner. Rene went out of his way to help me with my A/C in my S550. I usually dread taking my car to get diagnosed because I cannot trust people to be honest. After having it checked at a local chain who said I had a leak, I took it to an independent repair shop and Rene confirmed that there was no leak and I just needed coolant. Rene is very knowledgeable and very thorough. He immediately knew what was the issue with my 2010 E350, engine mounts. He fixed it and my car runs like the first day i drove it home from the dealer. Amazing, it is so smooth and quiet, I love it!! Additionally, he found other things that had been missed by me taking it to the neighborhood guy for my annual maintentance. Never again, I will always take my car to Rene for annual maintenance. It is nice to have someone work on it with so many years of specific MB experience. And that is all he works on. Rene did a fantastic job on my older Mercedes. He was recommended by my old mechanic and I couldn't be happier. He showed me upfront the work that needed to be done, and then provided a price breakdown. Parts needed to be ordered, so work was scheduled for when he had them in hand. Everything was completed, old worn-out parts saved to show me what was replaced, and my maintenance book updated. I will not hesitate to go back to Rene when needed.

I found this company by simply googling and so happy I did. The guy who answered the phone explained that they were very busy but if I could swing by he would take a look to see if it was safe to drive or needed immediate attention. After looking at my vehicle he determined the noise was coming from the headlight and didn t need immediate attention. However he gave great suggestions on who could fix my car using the warranty. The guys here were very nice and considerate of my safety. I would definitely go back for service not covered under my warranty.Service: Electrical

Rene is an expert when it comes to Mercedes-Benz vehicles. He knows exactly how to diagnose your vehicle, knows what he's looking for, and knows how much stuff should cost. Rene is a wizard! We took our CLK500 to him because of an electrical problem that was draining the battery. Rene figured it out in no time. The experience was so much better than the service we received from the dealerships. I would recommend Rene to anyone with a Mercedes!

This is a great shop the owner (Rene) communicates with you throughout the entire repair process and is a very experienced trust worthy mechanic which is so hard to find now days. I will most definitely take my vehicle to him for all of my maintenance and repair needs. Thanks Rene for the great experience (replaced turbo cooling lines GL550)and keep doing what you are doing... its a great feeling knowing that my vehicle is in good hands and hope god continues to bless you and the business!!!
