My car would NOT start Monday morning so AAA sent me a list of their recommended shops to have it towed to. I selected Bob's after seeing their ratings and how long they have been in business. They did not disappoint! The Office Manager/Receptionist was super friendly and kept me updated on what was going on and made sure I was okay with the work they were doing. She called me about 2 hours after the car was dropped off to them and told me it was fixed and ready to pick up. The technician that greeted me was very kind and professional as well. Great service, and great price. Thank you Bob's Auto Express!

I first posted this 5* rating 8+ years ago, and Bob is still my go-to guy for anything related to car maintenance. I ve had several occasions when I ve taken my car in without a clue as to what was wrong and it turned out to be something simple and Bob didn t even charge me. Recommended my son take his truck to Bob 2 years ago when he was having a/c problems & another mechanic was quoting him $3000+ to remove the entire dash to search out a supposed Freon leak . Bob and his crew identified that the inlet air filter was super clogged replaced it at minimal charge and my son s a/c has been working like a charm ever since.

I have taken my car to Bob's for over 10 years now. Reasonable prices, courteous staff, and timely service have been standards for his shop. Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable.

I got three quotes for a hit & run accident for my car. Bob's was reasonably priced and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend for any collision repairs.

I thank you all for fixing my truck. I was sent here from Valvoline on FM1950. I saw a lot of old school cars. Great customer service, and they took their time to get it right. Valvoline Oil Change broke a piece of their dipstick in my oil reservoir or engine. I was told it was a small piece. It was a big piece of plastic that broke off. I kept it as a souvenir. Thanks!!!

I am forever grateful to Bob's Auto Express. I'm new to the Spring area and was referred to B.A.E. You will NOT find a more honest, fairly priced, knowledgeable, courteous, professional automotive repair service in this area. Lest I forget to mention, they are a COMPLETE automotive service provider. 5 stars!

I took my vehicle in with an apparent leak in the transmission. They quickly identified the problem. They obtained the part and fixed my vehicle by 4pm the same day. I highly recommend.

Had my car in a different shop and it sat for a month and a half because they couldn t figure out what was wrong. Brought my car to Bob s Express and they we re able to fix it within hours. brought two vehicles to them a 2000 ranger and a 96 mustang, apparently even though they like displaying all the retro car doodads they dont really wanna work on anything older. At least thats what i hope it was and not a personal issue when they asked me to never bring my '96 mustang through their shop again. they did the bare minimum and they had an attitude about it. They can't assume everyone you deal with is slow when it comes to cars some people just dont have the time to DIY and choose to Pay and TRUST someone to do it right or at least explain what they need to get it done. Bottom line find somewhere else to take your classic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great experience, very honest in what work they propose for your car. I took a classic rod to Bob to see about making the engine perform a little better and to fix some other issues typical of a 50+ year old car. Bob was very honest and talked through making sure we don't spend a ton of money until we see the results of the previous upgrade. Bob was able to get some great performance out of a sluggish engine, help repair some aging parts, fix a leak, and repair (flawlessly) some paint due to a mistake of mine.Have a long list of other updates I want to do in the future and I will certainly use Bob when I'm ready!!Services: Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim

Long over due to write this review. Bob has to be one of the kindest men I have met. He is very professional and knowledgeable and his mechanics and body guys are as well. I have had several vehicles over the years that they have worked on for me and the service is always a pleasant experience. I cant speak highly enough of his place of business and how pleased I've been. Highly recommend

I wanted to edit this review and just add some detail to why I ve been coming to Bobs Auto Express for years now. I ve taken a couple of my vehicles here and I have never been dissatisfied with the work done. Bob is always very kind and honest. He will work with you and the price he gives is fair and is going to be exactly what you are needing for your vehicle. He takes the time to make sure all concerns with your vehicle are taken care of. His team is very professional and has great customer service. I used to live in the area but now I m almost 40 miles away and I STILL take it here and no where else.If you are looking for a mechanic/body shop that will treat you fairly and get the job completed the way it should be...this is the place for you.

Great service and fast. The Dodge dealership in Conroe wanted $4000 to repair our trucks rear-end. BOB'S did it fast and under $1600

Not sure how I feel about these guys. They get good reviews and are very nice. Took my car there twice, once for oil change and once for a repair.The repair didn't work, and I'm pretty sure that they over tightened & cracked my oil manifold when they changed the oil. Car started leaking oil for the first time ever... Evidently, this happens to a lot of people when a torque wrench is not used. Wound up costing me $900 to fix. SMH.I've learned not to get new car work done at a 'classics" place.

Bob is a true leader, he knows all about working on cars just like most other auto shops. But what sets Bob apart is that he runs his shop with integrity. That attribute means a lot to me because I am a sergeant with a law enforcement agency. I know what leadership looks like and Bob is without a doubt a leader. He is pays attention to detail and is fair with his prices.

I recently took my car to the NISSAN DEALER for a recall where I was told that I had 5 unrelated issues that needed to be addressed for a total of $2400. One issue I was told was significant and a safety concern (lower left arm bushing was missing). I was offered a free rental for the 3 days. I declined and took my car to Bob's (which I have been doing for over 10 years) and asked for his opinion. Other than dirty battery terminals and a slight leak of a head gasket, there was nothing that needed to be done. Bob said the head gasket showed sight seepage but not dripping and I cleaned my own terminals. Bob saved me from a $2400 fraud. In all my years going to Bob's he has handled his business with complete integrity. Thank you Bob and Jesse

I'd never been to Bob's before, but based on reviews and some word of mouth, I decided to give them a try when my Trailblazer died. They were friendly and efficient, getting me back on the road in less than 24 hours. I would highly recommend them.

We have been loyal customers for more than 20 years. Bob s lead mechanic, Jessie, can find and fix the most difficult problems. Right. The first time. His body shop guy is an artist. He has repaired both aluminum and steel body parts for us. I wouldn t take my vehicles anywhere else.Our kids are now his customers and will bring their cars from Dallas and Waco for Bob s guys to work on. Bob and his team are honest.Many people say this about their mechanic, but prior to this we dropped off a car that we knew exactly what the problem was (1 wheel bearing) and just said that we heard a noise. He diagnosed it accurately, charged and explained everything perfectly. I did tell him that it was 100 more than I thought, and he showed me the wheel bearings he uses which aren't the cheaper ones, but in his experience they are a superior part.The mechanics there often will drive the customer to their home while the car is being worked on. The guys I've spoken to have been there a long time, and happy.They totally earned our trust and future service.
