Michael the owner is very honest, forth coming, kind and THOROUGH with his work. He is very understanding and worked with me many times with my vehicle. He is patient and remains in good character and attitude. I really appreciate himAnd his teams good work. He does what s best for the customer and does quality work. He didn t rip me off just because I was a woman. He truly took care of me and my vehicle and I recommend him and his company to anyone. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I would not recommend this place at all. After my mother who s in her 60 s came back to him for transmission issue, he told her since she received an oil change somewhere else, the other shop have caused the transmission issue and refuse to honor the warranty she had on the transmission they fix alittle over 2 years ago. Also noted, when my mother took the vehicle for second opinion at another shop, they advised her the parts previously to fix the transmission by Michael shop used was horrible. My mother s dear friend has been helping her through this process and Michael has been nothing but rude to her. He even called my mother asking can she have her friend take the 1 star review down and now wants to throw around defamation lawsuit. If you don t want to get hustle out of money, don t bring your vehicle her. I m definitely will be filing complaint with corporate or the news if we have to.Edit review update: You can write a book all you would like and site legal codes and laws.. I can do the same. Calling and trying to harass my mother is unprofessional. Clearly, you know you wrong which is why you doing this. Your shop or you coming up with a lies to wiggle out of honoring a warranty is the problem. And giving how you response to unfavorable reviews on here shows your character. I hope others see this and find a better place to take their vehicles. And yes, I will have a great day.

Review update. I have the owner Michael harassing me and leaving me tons of voice-mails threatening me that he will file a defamation case against me over a one star review. Someone please tell me how is that even possible. This guy took my car saying he will look at it in an hour and let me know what the issue is. I called to get an update he said he never got to it and will keep the car till Wednesday. I simply told him that if he hasn't touched the car then I will come get it now as there is no point keeping my car. He refused to give the keys when my wife went. Finally she took the keys and now he is leaving me threatening messages.Michael is a dishonest guy tbh. I know there was some grinding in my transmission. He suggested he will let me know in an hour. When I called back after 3 hours he kept on pushing me to leave my car over and he will check it Wednesday. Seriously!!!! I told him if he cannot even touch the car then why did he take it in the first place. I decided to drive back and take the car back as he cannot do anything. He actually refused go give the keys and my wife had to forcefully take the keys from him. Please everyone save your time and money. This guy acts like he is a professional but he is anything but

I would not take my car to this Aamco. My dear friend (a female in her 60s) had her transmission rebuilt by Aamco in 2021, with a 3 year warranty. 2.5 years later it needs a new transmission. Mike, the manager, refused to cover under warranty, claiming that someone must have loosened an air intake clamp that caused the transmission to fail. The only shop to touch her car was Aamco, and the oil change shop. It seems more likely that Aamco left the clamp loose the last time they inspected it a few months ago. Second, after speaking to a few mechanics, they've all assured me that this is a HUGE stretch to say that the loose clamp was even the cause of the transmission failure, and it's more likely that when the transmission was rebuilt in 2021, they used cheap aftermarket parts, and now they don't want to honor the warranty. Third, after speaking to another transmission shop, they told me that they would never rebuild a CVT transmission, as it's too expensive UNLESS the shop buys CHEAP PARTS! It's better to buy a transmission from the dealer and install, but some shops don't want to, BECAUSE THEY DON'T MAKE AS MUCH $$ ON THE LABOR THAT WAY.Do not take your car here if you expect that Mike will honor your warranty. He acts like he wants to help, but he is just trying to make a quick buck then do whatever he can to not have to stand behind his shop's work. He has taken advantage of someone who does not understand cars, and that is the worst kind of person to do business with.$5k in 2021, now wants another $5k.Update: while the car was in his shop, it took Mike 12-24 hours to return a phone call. Less than two hours after posting a google review, I get a call threatening me with a defamation suit.Replying to Mike: as I asked you on the phone, please tell me what I lied about in this review. Please tell me where I blackmailed you, as I don t recall asking you to give into my wishes or demands. You, however, did threaten to sue me if I didn t take down this review, seems to be your MO, as there are other similar reviews stating the same. A comment on a google review does not constitute a formal cease and desist, you ll have to send me a legal document for that. Good luck getting any reputable attorney to draft that for you, but you are certainly welcome to try. I do believe that now you are defaming ME by accusing me of common theft. I did not steal anything from you, and you were paid in full for the lack of service you provided. My intention is not to deceive others, but rather share my experience so they can make an informed decision about who they re doing business with. I m assuming that your threats have intimidated many people into taking down bad reviews, which makes me wonder what your TRUE rating would be, had you not terrified your customers.3/27/24: Wow Mike, you seem mad. If I were you, I would spend more time taking care of the customers you do have. Perhaps you can call one or two of them back, I'm sure they've been waiting for an update from you while you've been busy writing your threatening novel.

I really loves this location. I haven t looked around for any other nor do I want to. Michael, the owner is awesome. I have had two of my cars worked on at different times both needing transmission work. At one time when I didn t have the money, Michael was very patient and was willing to work with me. He is honest and I trust him with all my car needs. I believe if you are up front with him he will work with you. Very impressed with this shop. My failed 2019 ford f-150 10 speed transmission was repaired by another AAMCO and was not done right. I called around and all the other aamco s in my area did not work on this type of transmission. I brought it here to Kuykendahl and they were amazing. Extremely responsive. They would call me every couple of days to update me. Extremely transparent on timing and what repairs they were doing. Truck shifts like a dream. Aug. 17th took my 2015 Camry in for hard shifting, which I personally thought it was the transmission. Michael the store owner said he couldn t feel the hard shifting but did pull some codes that lead to the throttle body. Which then Michael suggested due to mileage, he said a tune up and a throttle body cleaning with a fuel treatment should clear up the issue. Michael said he wouldn t open up the transmission to go looking to find a problem that he has steps to diagnostic s for the transmission. Authorized the suggested tune up and throttle body cleaning with the fuel treatment. 1k and 48 hrs later, I picked up the car and at it seemed to be having the same issue. Knowing Michael stated before he wouldn t go looking for a problem I knew I had to save money and take it somewhere else. September 1st the car lost drive power to the transmission. Since I just had Michael address this issue and it obviously wasn t fixed I called Michael for a tow back to his shop once again. The car is still currently at Michael s shop, and Michael stated that both cv axles, and seals needed to be replaced. We authorized the cv axle and seals. Michael test drove the car on the 11th (yesterday) and stated there s a hard shift between 2/3rd gear and the throttle body is once again throwing the same code from when I brought it in the month before (Aug.) Warranty has now been brought into the equation at this point. Warranty is covering $490 and Michael is charging a additional $1965.67. I asked for a itemized bill and Michael stated I could only see the itemized bill in person that I couldn t have a copy or have the original bill. I do not recommended taking your vehicle to Michael s shop for ANY reason. I ve only been given the runaround. Michael uses the reference like going to the doctor to relate to a vehicle, which I politely asked him to stick to the topic of vehicles, as to the subject we were originally discussing. I just want my car back and I want people to know not to do business with someone in this manner. I am not happy with these experiences within the last month at Michael s shop. I highly recommend looking to other shops before this one.

I contacted Aamco this morning and spoke with the manager Jason regarding some issues (serpentine belt), I was having with my vehicle. I was able to tow my vehicle to their shop, for them to fix and complete the job on the same day. Mr. Michael and Mr. Jason has a great team! Well done! Great customer service!

AAMCO has repaired the clutch in my 2013 Mustang. It is a manual 6 speed transmission. I come from Lubbock. It seems no one there know how repair the clutch since I spent a total of approximately $5,000 making those repairs. AAMCO repaired it and I feel they repaired it correctly. I will continue to go back to them. Mark was very nice from the day my car arrived to their facility. My car was towed here and from that day on Mr Mark was on the phone with me and the warranty company to get my issue resolved! Not only did he call and update, he helped me through the issues with the warranty people as well. When he gave an estimate for the car to be ready it was as he stated! I m glad to have my car back running well, and thankful my husband had my car towed to this facility. I highly recommend them!!!!Service: Transmission

My car would not start, so was towed to them in good faith that they would be able to fix it easily and quickly after speaking to them on the phone. After paying for a rental for 5 days they admitted they couldn t find the problem, that it must be an electrical problem and I needed to have it towed someplace else. They did figure it out, it was the battery connectors that needed to be fixed or tightened- they charged me $500 approximately, 2 tow jobs, and $50 a day car rental for 5 days. I was very disappointed and will definitely not refer friends to use them for any service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Horrible service took my car in at 8am after talking to them the previous day. Kept having to call all day zero communication unless I started it. Went to pick it up and they wanted me to sign release when no work was performed. Then threatened to call cops. Never go here. Michael and Antonio are crooks. Wanted over 300 bucks to further diagnostics and first diagnostic is supposed to be free. Buyer beware!!Update:To add I didn't run I just took my key because they were mine and he did threaten to call the cops if I didn't sign. I drove that car for another 18 months with all those issues. You guys are the ones that need help. I will recommend to anyone to go elsewhere these guys just want to scam people and lie about work that doesn't need to be done.

So far I ve received excellent service and top notch quality work. Now, that being said the only issue that I might have a problem with will be the language regarding convenience of location. The ability to work with other Aamco locations is mentioned at the start of the process and I understand each individual dealer has different options available. Being able to work with fellow Aamco dealers a little bit more would be great. Again my overall experience has been great so far, we re only @ ten days in so we ll see.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!! This has been the worst experience imaginable. No communication, unless you follow up on your own. The manager doesn t do what he says he will do, promises to call you back with updates and never follows through. I brought my truck in to have AC checked out and after a week the owner notifies me due to the cost of the Freon used in my truck he wouldn t diagnose the problem and told me I would need to take to the dealership. Yet they advised to do full AC diagnostic on the website. I waited a week for repairs to be done and on day 7 the manager calls to tell me to give him another day to COME UP WITH A PLAN on how to do repairs. The whole experience was awful!! I ended up paying almost 700$ for nothing to be done. I picked up my truck with the same existing problems that I had when bringing in the truck and the owner tells me I have unreal expectations. The nerve of this guy! Basically trying to shift the blame on me. Please save yourself the headache and avoid this nightmare of an experience.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

The Owner Michael is a Con Artist. He bated me into a free diagnostic check, but it ended up being $1,300!!!!! He never told me what was wrong with my 2018 Nisan Maxima. He took out my transmission and then said it wasn't anything wrong with it. But, he wouldn't disclose what was wrong until I signed a NDA. I called his company's headquarters and they said he was not practicing company policy but because it is his location, they couldn't get involved. He is a crook and I say steer clear of this place. Shane was a huge help and really nice guy. He answered all my questions and really just went above and beyond to get my wife's car taken care of as soon as possible with ease. Several other shops quoted way higher and had all kinds of unnecessary fixes, he said look here's exactly what you need and the best price I can give you. The next day car drove like it was brand new. Very clean and professional shop I'll definitely be back in the future.

I brought my 2011 GMC Sierra Crew Cab in because I thought I experiencing a problem with my transmission. After thoroughly diagnosing my vehicle, the owner, Michael, explained what was actually happening. Long story short, everything was fine. Michael easily could have sold me unnecessary repairs but did not. Honesty goes a long way. I will definitely bring my vehicle back when repairs are needed. Came here because of an oil change but, my engine light came on the same day. They told me the exact prices, and though it came out to a lot they also helped with any discounts applicable. Service is wonderful and fast. Tom, John and jasmine are wonderful people!. I won't hesitate to come back or recommend to anyone

Worst place to go to. Tried to scam my granddaughter out of $1,100.00 had the truck towed some where else and got it fixed for under $200. Don't let you family members or friends go there. I WOULD GIVE LOWER IF I COULF

I brought my car for the replacement of the alternator and They did a diagnostic check of the engine that in their website said is free and they charged me $180.00 but, they found other engine s problems that needed to be repair and they did. It wasn t leaking.They said that they gave me discounts on parts and labor.Here is the photo of their website !!Now yesterday my car was leaking and I brought it back and they said that probably is in another part of the engine they didn t repair.Will see !!They are trying to do their best I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

I m so thankful for John Phelps and his team :) My A/C was out and it was unbearable- Texas heat!I took my vehicle here and I couldn t have been more comfortable. He was very generous, knowledgeable, and most importantly HONEST. Too many times women are taken advantage of when going to repair shops! I highly recommend his shop! He fixed my issue and helped me with the pricing! Excellent customer service.

One day, my truck decided that it did not want to shift to 3rd gear and I had this transmission rebuilt a little over 2 years. I brought my truck to AAMCO Transmission hoping that it did not need another rebuild, well I was wrong it needed to be rebuilt and I was not too happy about it. I was also planning on going to the beach on the same weekend. Mark reassured me that the transmission would be good as new and would have it done in time for the beach.Well Mark did some magic to this job as after going to the beach and taking my family out of state to see visit our other family members, I am driving my truck with confidence knowing that it is not going to act up anytime soon.Thank you Mark and AAMCO Spring, I really do appreciate bringing my transmission back to life.Service: Transmission

Had an emergency issue with my rear brakes and needed to have taken care of so I didn t have to miss a day of work and John and his team went above and beyond by working past closing time to ensure my vehicle was fixed. Great atmosphere and will be doing all my repairs from now on. If you are looking for people that really will take care of you this is your location

It's always hard picking a place to work on your ride. Especially when its a transmission problem. My truck put these guys through hell thanks to a defective part but in the end it was all resolved and back running again. The extra time and labor was not added to my bill which most shops have done to me in the past. I cannot recommend this place enough. They worked with me until my issue was resolved and I was satisfied. This is an HONEST place which seems to be rare these days. I will use them again in the future and recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you guys so much for resolving this.. with a baby coming in 2 months this was crucial!

I took my 2016 Kia Forte in to AAMCO thinking I was having brake issues because I heard a noise. AAMCO did a full diagnosis check called me back and said the found no issues. I said all that to say this is a place you can trust. The people there are very friendly and helpful. I give them 5 Stars

New ownership!! Customer service is very good. I showed up on Saturday for a State Inspection later than I should have. Showed up at 1pm not knowing they close at 2pm. I forgot the new owner's name, but I remember he and the inspector called me into the work bay to go over a myriad of problems with my vehicle.I appreciated the level of professionalism demonstrated. They will be getting my business. Prices seem reasonable, and very professional, quick with work.

GREAT JOB!!! Was excited to hear they work on all make and models vehicles, so I didn't have to bring my vehicle to the dealer ship, as I typically do. Had belts and oil changed out. The quote and work was done very quickly, so I was in and out. Very competitive prices!! Will be back for future repairs and maintenance. Thanks for the great job!

By far, the best experience we have every had having to get our car fixed!! Under new ownership and you feel the difference. These guys took care of us with the upmost generosity and respect and honesty and we truly do appreciate them! Thank you to the owner John and to the technicians Andrew and Thomas, you guys are awesome and to Pissamai, you did a awesome job with the coffee set up, it was just what we needed and it added a personal touch so thank you!!
