I paid Derek $180 to tell me my water heater was leaking, which I already knew. He gave me a estimate of $250 for labor and I would supply the heater. I called him four days later to tell him I had the heater and he never responded. I tried 2 more times and have never heard from him. Would not recommend him to anyone.

I call for a repair man to fix a water leak on my RV, David came out ( or Derrick ) I have a feeling they are one and the same. the first time he was out he told me he needed money to buy parts. So I gave him fifty dollars. He came back a few little connectors. He told me he had to go to Porter to get the parts. I left as soon as he left, I left to to go to Walmart, He was back just a few minutes after I returned. If He drove Porter he flew. Ok to make a long story short He couldn't get it fixed so I told me it would be best to replace the pipes. He would need $150.00 to buy the pipe. This was on Sat. He told me he would get the pipe and fix it on Sun. This is Tues., I haven't heard from him since. Also haven't heard from my money. I gave him a $160.00 because I had no change. He is not answering text or Phone calls, not even in his home. The moral of this story is don't give him money for parts, you will never see him again. Nettie Runyon

Unfortunately we have had the same situation. Paid the service fee for Derek to come out. He recommended a few things that we could try. We did that, and the problem was still happening. So we contacted him again and no response!

I called about an air conditioner problem in my RV. Left a message and they called right back. Came right over and fixed the problem. Super nice guy and his helper was nice also. Would recommend D'Souza Mobile RV Repair for your RV needs. Very affordable! Thanks Dirik!

Derek came out and inspected slide out and we ordered the part. Super nice guy. I ordered the part he asked for and when Part came in it was excuse after excuse getting him back out to make the repair for weeks. 3 times he told me he was coming and never showed each time. the 4th time he couldnt come because of heat even though ac was on and waiting for him. I finally gave up and got someone else. Unreliable and poor communication. I do not recommend.Service: Body & Trim

Derek goes above & beyond any rv service/repair we have ever used! He's honest, knowledgeable, fair priced & willing to help new rv'ers learn. If you're in the market for an RV, he offers inspection service which is highly recommended, since dealerships are full of nothing but salesmen! He'll point you in the right direction & make sure you don't get taken advantage of, which is unfortunately unusual in the industry. 10/10!

I've been using Derek for years. I met him when he worked with a prior mobile repair company. I tried for years to get him to do my jobs without calling this guy that he worked for; however, his ethics shined through at that time because he would not accept any side work. Now that he's on his own, I am thrilled. He has always done a professional job and recommended the cheaper alternative rather than trying to take advantage of you. If you need repairs done this is your man.

D was extremely knowledgeable and informative throughout the entire process, making sure that I understood each step of the repair. He took the time to explain the issues with my RV and provided clear and concise solutions. His attention to detail and dedication to providing excellent customer service was truly impressive. I would highly recommend Derrick to anyone in need of RV repairs. He is a true professional and I am extremely satisfied with the work.Issue: faulty slide motor in Master bedroom.

I never leave a review but just felt like I needed to. I reached out to Derek because of all the good reviews he had. I called him on Tuesday morning he answered and told me to text him myaddress and what I needed to get done on my RV, and told me he would text me back when he could come out. I waited that day and the next. I followed up and asked him if he was still able to come out, told me yes and he would call me and see if he could get to me. I never received a call! I just think it s so rude to say you are going to do something and not do it. Wasting my time and days that I could get my RV looked at. I have moved on to another tech. If y all reach out I hope he will do what he says he will do.

I'm very lucky Derrick was available! We had an issue with our inverter on our RV that was killing power to all of our outlets, and it was making a loud beeping noise. We were supposed to leave that day but we had to figure this out first. It was a Sunday but Derrick came out to help us. He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. All of the parts he was working on were after-market, so he basically had to figure out how the previous owner rigged it all together. He was focused and committed to the task until he figured it out and fixed it. He also looked at a couple of other issues I was having and walked me through exactly how to handle them. If we're back in the Houston area in the RV I will definitely be calling Derrick for any service we need.Services: Electrical, Battery

My family was in an emergency situation, our A/C had went out and was only blowing hot air. And turns out it was just the fan! Well this generous man came through in an emergency and made sure me (5 months pregnant) , my husband, and my 11 month old had A/C. This is honestly the best company I ve come across nobody answered the phone like he did, and nobody sure in heck came through to help us out like he did.Service: Air conditioning

IF I COULD LEAVE 10 STARS I WOULD! After trying everything we could to get our electronic levelers to go up and failing, we realized we had a big problem. Our camp host gave us Derek's number. Although we called on a Sunday morning, he picked up the call immediately with a friendly and professional greeting. Derek helped us problem-solve options with great detail to avoid a costly mobile visit or tow. He stayed on the phone while we tried all of the options and we were able to find a solution that worked. With only the make and model of our RV and our leveling system, he was able to help us navigate solutions. I cannot even express the relief we felt when the levelers came up. In the end, Derek would not accept any compensation for the call despite spending more than 30 minutes with us on the phone. He is helpful, friendly, professional, and a breathing encyclopedia of RV mechanics. Look no further for your mobile RV repair needs! Thank you, Derek!!

Derek was professional & courteous. He answered immediately when I called. I was having issues with my furnace. He walked me through a few steps that allowed me to save the service call and fix the issue myself. If I could, I would give him 10 stars. He was awesome! Definitely recommend him.

I highly recommend Derek. He installed a new gswh-2 on demand water heater in my rig. We'd almost always had issues with the other working on and off. Had to replace it due to a busted copper pipe from the freeze and yes its been that long since we've had it out. Well new unit installed and IT didn't work. He tried for several hours but no luck. Promised he would research last night and be back out today. After another couple of hours today he found a bad connection in JAYCOS wiring. Fixed it and now it works like a champ! The real kicker is only charged us the original service charge and THAT'S IT!!! One man outfit that stands behind his work. I highly recommend Derek if you have any issues with your rig then this is the guy to call!!!

Called this guy to do mobile repair on my rv. The impression I got was either he isn t very well rounded ie doesn t do a lot of different types of things on rv s, or maybe just didn t want to work on mine. Either way said he would call back the next day, it s been a few and no call back. Seems unreliable in my book.

Derek was very professional, very kind and very helpful. We had an immobilized front leveling jack on our 5th wheel, causing us to be unable to lift off of our truck. He came out, quickly located the issue and got us back to operational. He was very fair, very easy to talk to and expressed his willingness to help again whenever and wherever we could potentially need it whether it be local, or over the phone if needed. We would absolutely not hesitate to use his services if needed again.Service: Steering & suspension repair

3-23-22 - Derek came out today to repair a leaking shut off valve under our kitchen sink that was on the line to our ice maker. He did a great job and was very reasonably priced. Thank you Derek!

Derek was very knowledgeable and very professional. He installed a tankless water heater in our 5th wheel RV. He took the time to look up different models of water heaters to ensure I bought a good reliable product at the best price.. He was on time, and knows customer service. The installation was completed and works flawless with no issues. I would recommend D's Mobile RV to anyone that is in need of RV repair. He will be my only call from this point forward. Getting ready for trip with TT and not getting water from hot water faucets. Called D's and asked if he could come by the house and fix it. Talked to Gary and he said there was no way he could get to me before we had to leave. But, he walked me through the troubleshooting process until the issue was resolved. What business model is this that he cuts himself out of $120.00? A man who wants repeat business and he has mine as long as I own an RV. Thank you Gary for making my trip AOK.

Derek came out and diagnosed my Ac and tried to repair it before having to replace it. Unfortunately it was bad but within an hour he was installing the new unit and control. Very nice and honest guy would totally recommend 10/10Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Derek came out and fixed a leak and checked my power sources and was very professional and talked me through everything. will continue using him for any of my travel trailer issues very honest and will 100 percent recommend him.

What a great guy. He came out on a Saturday, in the pouring rain to fix a wet bay leak so we wouldn't have to go through the weekend without water. Got soaking wet, never complained. Very reasonable charges. I have called on him twice so far. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again if needed.

My mother paid him to come out and stop her slide from leaking, while out he talked her into sealing her roof. He charged her $680 and wrote a receipt for roof strip and seal, new molding, and seal edge with white silicon. She trusted him and didn't check before he left. A few weeks later it finally rained again and the slide leaked, again. While trying to see where the leaking was coming from we found the roof had NOT been sealed and not even cleaned. She called him and he basically told her oh well, he first said you cant seal this roof type, then told her he used a self leveling seal,then told her he only did a seal not a sealant. He took advantage of her knowing she cant climb up there. I do NOT recommend this man.
