Ohh the silliness. Book a week in advance. Show up early. Bring my sprinter in. Very friendly counter rep. Drop of my keys. Get a call a few minutes later saying my tires are too old to rotate. Understandable if they didn t want to patch an old tire but rotating and rebalancing cause tires are too old is just silly. I ask for a policy stating they can t rotate old tires assuming they could look into it and realize it was a mistake. Nope. I get some more silly explanations now how they can t rotate sprinters pre 2010 cause they don t have the lift specs. I try and guide her through why that is and tell her that they need to look up dodge lift specs for pre 2010 sprinters but she just won t hear me. Even though the frame on these sprinters is exactly the same from 2007 to present. Down to the exact bolt size. But I did have a discussion about lifting the van with the very friendly sales rep before hand who told me they could work on sprinters now. Seems clear that she was looking for an excuse not to back down from a silly decision she had made earlier. An ounce of humility would go a long way here. If I have any of these details wrong please let me know.

The Tire Center did not answer their phone on Wed. 2/28 all morning, so I couldn't make an appointment. I assume they are busy, but having insufficient employees on hand to do the work and answer the phone is management's fault. The Southlake Costco Tire Center had no problem answering the phone.

I'm pretty shocked to see a Costco employee yell at a customer in the tire/battery side about a VISA refund around 4 pm 2.3.24 I shop here all the time and never have an issue on the grocery side I even own stock in this company and this didn't sit well with me. I'm pretty sure it was the first guy with their pictures on the wall to show who they are. I go here weekly, but this was very unprofessional and thinking of escalating this to district VP. It was very sad to see this today

The lack of communication is what made the difference in my experience at the Southlake Costco Tire Center. I took my car into get 4 new tires and was impressed that it took less than an hour. Upon entering the office to get my keys, all that the attendant told me was that the technicians recommend I get a tire alignment. I received the attached page of notes with the recommendations highlighted. Then I go out to my car and notice that one of my hubcaps is missing, and after looking in my car, I find it on the floor resting against the passenger seat. The tire center had my phone number and spoke to me face to face when I picked up my keys, but no one told me that half of the clips had broken off of the hub cap. I realize that things break. But I expect to be told that something broke while Costco had possession of my vehicle. When I went inside to talk ask about it, I was told that they made a note for me. It's in the middle of the list, between two other notes that were highlighted. I'm very disappointed with the lack of customer service.**Update** They didn't install one of my tires properly and it began rapidly leaking air. I had to take it to them twice before they found the issue. Both times I took it in to have it checked, I never received a phone call letting me know they were done looking at it. I've wasted so much time and money on ride share transportation because of their unreliable work. I do not recommend getting tires here.

It is pretty apparent that Costco is not really into selling tires or customer service at this location. They have gotten rid of any place in the tire center to wait, removed the bench, and are not all that interested in you being there. Their tire prices are about the same as everywhere else, and their selection is limited. Want an appointment? Go online and book two weeks out (they are not all that busy). Not sure what the attraction to Costco is these days.

Do not buy your tires here!!! I love Costco and their customer service is always great with anything I ve ever had a problem with in their store, their tire shop is a whole other story. I have bought tires from them at other stores in the past and never had a problem. The attitude of the manager and employees at this store is that they are so busy they could care less if you buy from them now or ever again. I special ordered tires for my C300 from them and they did call me when they came in. The guy who took my order told me to schedule a time for installing so i wouldn t have to wait so long, so when they called me to say they came in I tried to schedule with him but he couldn t figure out the system and said a manager wasn t available so I could try to schedule myself online. The earliest online appointment was 2 weeks out! So I just showed up when they opened to be first inline and that worked. They tried to take off my wheels and broke the Mercedes wheel lock key off in the wheel lock. They blamed the last person who took the wheels off for over torquing the lugbolts and refused to take any accountability. The manager said I was going to have to go somewhere and have them get it off before he could mount the tires. I was a little annoyed at this point but decided to give him the benefit of doubt and go to Mercedes dealership to have them remove the lock and then come back to have the tires mounted. The tire shop manager said Ok, but just so you know we are getting really busy so you ll be at the end of the line again and we will be about 15-20 cars deep by then I was blown away at this point that he wouldn t put me back in right away after they broke my wheel lock! At this point I just asked for a refund. I got my money back, then decided to talk to store manager(asst GM) who reluctantly agreed to pay for wheel lock but wasn t apologetic by any means. I left and went to Mercedes dealership where they greeted me like a business should, gave me a free loaner car(so I could run errands while tires were mounted), sold me the same set of tires and installed them problem free with a smile. Costco charged me $999.85 for the set and dealership $1,102.55 out the door. Was it worth the 10% extra at the dealership...yes absolutely. My time and energy are worth far more than that. Costco tire shop never again, you are the DMV of tires, except the DMV doesn t make you wait in line again if they mess up your paperwork.

I wish I could give a - review, bought a set of new tires for my car and about 6 months later, they were making a loud noise, took my car to 2 different shops and they gave my the same diagnosis the tires, moved the tire that it was making the noise to the rear and the noise followed it, went to the tire service and they said that there was nothing wrong with the tire of course. I wouldn't recommend buying tires at Costco

Rude. When I change my tire at discount Tire at least I ll receive a message when my car is ready for pickup. The guy just throw me the key and told me I m losing a wheel center cap which was still on when I checked in Discount Tire 15 mins ago. I don t mind buy another one from eBay but at least they should give me a explanation or offer me a solution...

Thought I learned the first tim3, as I had similar results first time I bought from Costco tire Costco tire does not provide timely service after the sale - periodHad a nail in a tire, with constant inflation required. Called previous day, they responded no appointments available u til following week but you can walk in tomorrow and we will put you in walk-in line..It s a nail in a tire!!Their site states - Walk-in-tire-business is welcome and will be determined by bay availability.YEP. - 2.3 hour wait! With such high business volume, how does Costco Tire NOT have a team devoted to flat repairs?!?Lesson learned This time!

I love Costco but the tire shop I do not like. Savings is not significant here, only added value is getting the 2% back at the end of the year.My biggest issue is that they NEVER will repair a flat tire. Twice they have given me some line about the tires being too old and I need to get new tires. I have to go to NTB to get the flat fixed

Walk in for tire rotation. I ve been told to wait for two hours. After two hours, no call, I asked them, said I need to wait for another hour. After another hour, still no call, I checked again and got answer was to wait another hour. Two different staffs said exactly same thing when checking on 2nd hr and 3rd hr your car will be the next. It s about an hour. I left. Totally more than 3 hours stuck in Costco for nothing. I didn t want to hear the same thing after waiting for 4hrs. I understand they re busy. But if they put walk in after all appointments, they should at least told me so instead of let customer endless waiting. If they don t know how long it would be, just say don t know . How hard is it? Or simply they should not accept walk in.

I'm very grateful for the grace to be serviced as a walk in. However, I believe that if you're told that it would take an hour and 1/2 for your services and that you would receive notification through a phone call, I would expect to not have to wait 2 hours and receive no phone call at all! If I wasn't back where I dropped off my keys, I would have been there all day.Costco still rocks at the end of the day overall. I just believe that the tire center for this location could improve in their communications and wait times in line.

Picture me - typical suburban mom with her 6-year-old daughter on their way to grab her son from soccer practice. It's 7:00pm on a Monday night and my tire pressure issue light comes on. Only one tire so I knew immediately I had a nail. I pull over, pump air into it and start searching for tire places. Every place around me closes at 7:00pm (lucky me!) except for Costco. Of course, I see all these negative reviews and think, 'great, I have no choice but to go into a crappy place from what I can see.' I'm here to say that it was on the contrary - I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, there was a slight wait when I arrived but the gentleman behind the counter explained the situation - that they may just be able to apply a spare tire and address in the morning given that there was a backlog. I did the Uber deal to grab my son then returned at 8:25 and they explained that I had no spare tire (I know, no idea) and that I needed new tires (yes, I knew that was coming). He wrote down my options along with prices, one set even going on sale this coming week. Oh, and no charge for that assessment. They were truly professional the entire time and I very much appreciated how I was treated!!

I really like Costco but am beginning to hate the tire center. And it is even making me rethink Costco entirely. Every time I have service it is hours, usually 1.5 to 2 hours to just rotate and balance tires, on a compact car and even with an appointment. The workers seem to move at a snails pace! Awful experience!!!! Every time!!!! Please cast your dollar votes and go somewhere that actually provides service on a reasonable time line.

I am a fan of all things Costco but can t get excited about their tire service. Service is normally slow as the counter is often understaffed / not staffed. I have continued to go here for 4 years with 3 different cars as have been satisfied with so many other Costco services. The last time I went the service technician was all ego and attitude and I struggled to have a meaningful conversation so I had enough. I finally tried Discount Tire and the experience is so much better with a bigger range of tires, far greater engagement and I think the prices were competitive. Getting the air topped up is faster and easier too. Not going back to Costco.

I have used other tire centers and have always found better pricing. However, the better prices didn't always consider what was right for my car and driving needs. In the long run I ended up paying more. I have consistently gotten more out of tires with better service at Costco Tire Center.

Not a fan! Spent a fortune on 4 new Bridgestone tires, 2.5 years later they are bald! Wouldn't honor warranty because we were slightly over on a couple rotations. I understand the rules about warranty and getting them rotated on time, but we tried! The wait is always crazy long! One time we dropped it off, 4 hours later they called us to say they couldn't do it that day! Will never get tires there again!

I have never received such amazing service as the service I received at the Southlake tire center. My daughter has to have her tires rotated and a puncture repaired. They were kind enough to take it in on the same day, kept us informed of the progress and worked late to help us out. They were kind and friendly. Absolutely excellent service.

I called and was quoted a good price, the Michelin tires i wanted were in stock. I was greeted and everything was explained. I paid the quted price and they completed the work 10 minutes ahead of estimated time. They must have a new crew since a lot of negative reviews. I also had a very good experience wiht new tires for my wife's car about 6 weeks ago.

Came in to have see why the low tire light was on for tires purchased here. The Tech working in the bay acted like it was a huge inconvenience to have his sweeping interrupted to deal with a customer. I explained that I had a low tire and asked him to check them for me. He proceeded to put air in all 4 tires. I have no idea which tire was low, or more importantly, why it was low. He told me if the light comes back on, come back because I probably have a flat. I just called and spoke to the assistant manager to share my experience. He said "thank you for calling". He did not offer to have someone inspect my tires for a nail or help in any way. Next time, I'll pay more and go to Firestone. At this Costco tire store, you get what you pay for and a little less. Its been 2 years since I've been to this tire store. I thought I'd call and give them another shot at my business. The guy on the phone was friendly, but was not interested in helping or going any further beyond the minimum to help me solve my problem. I see nothing has changed at Costco tire center!

always days for an appointment and as a walk in your wait is 90 min plus for tire rotation. at the dealership I can get an oil change, tires rotated and my car washed in 45 min. Today I have a nail in my tire and was told it would be 2 hours to have it look at. I can pull into discount tire and they will at lease look at it quickly, and usually have it patched and I'll be on my way in 30 min without an appointment,

I love Costco, unfortunately I cannot say the same for their tire center. Brought my car due to low tire pressure indicator. Ended up changing two sensors. Got home to find all the covers were missing from the air outlet on each tire. Is like they take no pride on what they do!!

They put my two new tires on the wrong end and I got my car back with a ripped glove compartment panel. Then, they tried to blame the ripped panel on the heat. Came in to fix one problem, left with two new problems. Never again. Worst customer service ever. This place has gone waaaay downhill over the past two years. It's like they don't even care anymore. It's worth the extra $20/tire to have it put on the correct freaking wheel.

Great service from Nikko and the team. They installed a road hazard replacement tire and swapped out an old tire into my spare wheel while I waited. They confirmed multiple times to make sure the complicated swap was done correctly. They even put my dirty spare in a plastic cover to keep the trunk clean. Thanks for the great service.

Have no customer care at all. I went in to get my tires checked at 12:40 PM. It was done by 1:01 PM. No one called me. Went in at 1:15 PM to see what was going on. No one told me the status. They had told me it might take into 2:15 PM.Then got frustrated at 2:30 PM. The white lady there was doing nothing this time nor the previous time. She had no concern for the lack and was rather rude and dismissive. They should fire all the staff and hire someone responsible.Very frustrating. Unless you want to be treated like dirt, you don't want to step into this tire center ever.

I regret buying tires from Costco, and I should have stayed with discount tire. Tire rotations can exceed 1 1/2 hours, and the staff is not very helpful. I also had to wait about 40min just to get air in the tires. Poor service and long wait times do not justify the slight savings you get. Go somewhere else, there are too many good options to have to put up with Costco.

We ve been to this specific tire center about twice for different services and both times, we were helped by Jose. Jose is extremely professional, helpful and has outstanding customer service! It left a great impression on us for this Costco tire center.

I do not recommend buying tires here. They are very strict about the maintenance schedule you must follow and if you deviate from that schedule, they are very rude about it.Also, the wait times are horrendous. In my opinion, it is worth going somewhere else that has better customer service.

My experience is based on using Discount Tire for years. Went with Costco because of a $70 rebate that DT could not honor at the time. HUGE MISTAKE! Costco falls way short in service. At DT I've rarely waited longer than 30 minutes for rotate & balance; Costco: one to one and half hours, with an appointment! Recently waited 10 minutes at Costco after walking in the front register area (tires) before anyone showed up. In that amount of time, DT could have all 4 tires off and balancing started. DON'T BUY TIRES AT COSTCO!
