This is the second Dodge Diesel I ve taken to PSP and this one has 298,000 miles on it. Justin first road-tested my truck with me to experience every concern I had, then had an experienced technician take the handoff. Together they identified what needed to be done - some work was immediate and some is when I can do it after a bit more time and use. Justin s customer service is outstanding and the shop does excellent work. Justin explained the conditions he saw, reviewed what the Technician found, showed me the parts affected and gave me specific quotes on each individual repair. The guys at PSP are professional and the owners are right there, also, that says a lot in itself. Thank you again, Justin, for taking care of me so well.

Art and Richard the (owners) have took care of me, since the first time I walked in the shop, I would not let anyone touch my 6.0 besides myself and PSP and the team they have there, from bulletproofing my truck in 2020 to changing a dummy plug/ stand pipe overnight (yesterday)to get me back on the road in the middle of a job working 7 days a week 15 hrs a day that I have no time to deal with it. Hands down best diesel mechanic team in Houston, they recommend some work that it probably needs but I stressed the fact that I need to get it back on the road to finish this shut down I'm in and that's exactly what they did, Art I owe you one bro

PSP Diesel always does an amazing job with my truck. The work they do is always done on time and they are sure to check on other possible issues while they have the truck. This type of support ensures my vehicle will stay on the road for many more years and continue to be safe.Swing by and chat with the owners. They will climb under the hood, get under the truck or do what it takes to show you any issues you are having and help explain them to you so you can be confident and understand that the repairs they are doing are correct and effective.Thank you PSP Diesel for allowing me to trust your shop and I will continue to send you as much business as I can!!

PSP Diesel is the only place I ll take my F250 for service needs. Art and Richard are the most knowledgeable diesel experts I have ever come across. They are extremely thorough and go to great lengths to explain all options available. Their customer service stands well above any I ve received from local Ford dealerships. Their quality of work and how they stand behind it, speaks for itself. PSP, true diesel professionals.

I had an issue with my Perform Service indication not clearing. PSP took care of the issue, and at a reasonable fee. I will use them in the future for any issues I can not solve on my own for my 2009 Ram Diesal. I appreciate reasonable businesses such as PSP.

I had a strict budget and Justin did everything he could to incorporate the most needful components to get my 6.0 back on the road without breaking the bank. Professional advisors and technicians, don t look anywhere else. FYI: keep in mind that this shop is very busy, don t think you ll receive your truck back in a week or two if you re asking for major engine work, have a back up vehicle. Thanks y all

PSP Diesel was highly recommended to me by a coworker when I bought my new to me 2017 F-250. I m a new diesel owner and at the time I knew nothing about diesels. Not only did PSP Diesel check everything out on the truck from bumper to bumper. They took the time to explain to me the little things I could do to keep it out of the shop. Great experience dealing with the front office and the mechanic working on my truck. If you re looking for a shop to replace the dreaded CP4 before you have issues go check them out. Justin will give you all the info you need to make the decision on the DCR conversion.

I have not had any experience with this shop. I would like to know if this shop does the DCR conversion on a 2019 F250 6.7 ?Thank you,Well my truck is at this shop right now. They are going to do DCR conversion. So far so good on the shops communication.Update: 3-25-24My truck is running like a champ! The repair and conversion was pretty quick turnaround. Right at a week. I'm sure others repairs differ since I was lucky and my repair was not as extensive as some of the others in the shop. However, this shop gets it done in my opinion. I hate that some places have padded reviews to make them look good.Since I experienced this shop first hand. I can write a real review.

All the staff is pretty good. They are all very knowledgeable with diesel products and honestly I don't think you can get a better price around town. Justin is an awesome sales guy as well. It will help you out with anything you need. Definitely recommend this place

Well in the past, they have done good work, my last experience with them was entirely unacceptable. A specific list of task was provided to them which did NOT include changing the fuel filters. I change my own fuel filters routinely and it done it no less than 2 weeks before that trip to their facility.Despite this, they - without an order or request - changed my fuel filters. If they had simply checked the fuel filter gauge on the dash BEFORE they changed it, they would have seen it was full. Worse, they would have had to reset the fuel filter gauge on the dash. At that point, they had no choice but to notice that it was full - not expired. The outcome, they blamed my wife for their error. They stated she instructed them to do it. I confirmed with my wife she did not. PSP stood their ground, insisting my wife is a liar.Bottom line - the customer is always wrong from their point of view. Their compromise was to charge me parts. Parts I didn't order. I paid them for their mistake.I specifically asked them to fix the check engine message on my dash. It was never addressed. It is a real disappointment that this happened. Did good work in the past but a quick decision not to do their job properly or admit they made an error was more important than customer retention or PSP reputation.

I called first thing in the morning on a Monday. They got me in, diagnosed my issue before lunch, explained everything to me, and had me back on the road in no time. Guys up front are great and they have solid hands in the shop. Absolutely would recommend the shop.

Spent 15,000 on all new parts suspension brakes and top end rebuild. My truck still overheats, vibrates driving down the road the custom brake lines they put in still rub the frame. Why would you replace all the old parts with stock parts? They were faulty parts to start with why wouldn't you put after market stuff that last longer. Very mad at the work.

I have a small fleet of trucks, anytime something goes wrong PSP is there to help in good timing. I have not had to take back any of our trucks back for the same problem.

I have not done business with PSP Diesel, HOWEVER! PSP has hired Justin and it's fair warning he is a FRAUD. He misdiagnosed my 6.0 Diesel, not once.... but TWICE. Low rating goes to those that hired HIM! Justin knows who I am and I am NOT happy!

Recently had a few issues with Vader (my 02 F350 7.3) and needed a great shop to fix him up. Turns out I found the absolute BEST shop in Houston. PSP Diesel charges $150 to diagnose your vehicle (on new customers they do a complete inspection of damn near every bolt and part on your truck to give you a complete view of what is going on with it). They will then apply that $150 towards your final bill if you choose to have them do the work. For Vader, they found 2 fuel leaks, a couple oil leaks, the suspension was completely gone, breaks were gone, had a rattle when it started, and wasnt getting power. Immediately (like on day one) the mechanic discovered that the trucks oil was missing 9 quarts and there was a bolt missing from the starter. Fixing those two issues solved my immediate problems but as they inspected Vader more they found much more problematic issues. Once they are done going over the whole vehicle someone will contact you and go over everything. In my case, it was Richard. Richard is a no BS kind of guy that is honest, hard working, and cares about his customers. In fact, he cared so much that he even allowed my son and I to come in to his shop so that we could paint the calipers while they had everything taken apart. Understand, this shop is busy and trucks are coming in and going out almost constantly. But still, Richard entertained his customer (me) and allowed us to come in, take up space in one of his bays, and sand, prime, paint, and clear coat all 4 calipers on my truck. Took my son and I several hours and the mechanic that was working on our truck ended up working on another truck next to us while we painted (turned out that truck needed most of the same repairs). But anyways...PSP Diesel is the place to take your truck if it needs some work. Richard doesn't try to jack up the price by adding parts or work that isn't needed. In fact, there were a couple of times that he could have got a couple more bucks out of me if he was that kind of guy...but he's honest and that's why I'll be taking every truck I own to PSP Diesel. You should to.FYI, they also service fleet trucks, company trucks...you name it they fix it. Give Richard a call and tell him Brian sent you, when he says Brian who, you just say the caliper guy. He will take good care of you.

The PSP team is awesome! I usually do all my own work on my truck so I was a little uneasy letting someone else touch my truck. But It had been a long week at work and I was just worn out and did not feel like spending what little time I had working on my truck. My lift pump failed on a Saturday night and I was able to get a hold of Art through the Houston Diesels group (phenomenal group of people) and arrange to drop it off the following day. Will one of their techs was kind enough to take time out of his day and meet me there to take in my truck. Kevin their sales rep got ahold of me the next morning and we went over everything I wanted done. I wanted to replace the factory lift pump with a FASS 150 and sump kit along with a relocated fuel tank vent kit (for more capacity) and delete the factory fuel filter housing. These guys got it done within the week and kept me updated the whole time as the fuel vent kit I wanted took longer to get in than expected but thats on me it's the kit I wanted and only Glacier sold it. When I picked up my truck everything looked perfect, nice clean install and tucked away. Truck ran great but I did notice the next morning a tiny leak at one of the bulk head fittings on the pump. Called up the shop and they had me come by and Will took care of it in a matter of minutes and had me on my way. Overall experience was very professional and friendly I will definitely take my truck back for future work to the PSP team they're a stand up group of guys.

I went to PSP for a major repair on my F-250 related to the diesel injection system. PSP performed a very professional diagnostic of my truck and explained to me in a very simple way my options. They offered the most competitive price for the exact same repairs than others (Ford dealer) where charging me crazy amount of money. The end results were simply fantastic!! I'm very satisfied with their professional attention and service. Highly recommended!Service: Engine repair
