Great and fast service, awesome guy! J.J helped me out when i was traveling. Take your vehicle to him, I highly recommend him. Bring some treats for bear as well!

J J's was awesome! We were traveling back to California from Houston, Texas. The timing belt broke - we thought it was going to be really hopeless. When discussing options, he offered to drive us 30 miles to the closest U-haul shop in case we had to tow our car home! He diagnosed the car. We both thought that the valves were bent so I asked him to pull the heads to determine if that was the case. He proceeded and we found out that the valves were not bent. He changed the timing belt, apologized for charging us for checking the valves and the repair bill was $100 less than he quoted us. Honest, fast and nice. He was supposed to go to a Dr.'s appointment the day after we had the car towed there, but he stayed and finished the repairs. Absolutely, 100% recommend this shop.

Passing through Sonora, Texas, on a Thursday night on our way to San Antonio, a bearing went bad on the right, front wheel. Stopping at a small convenience store, the lady clerk said that all mechanic shops would be closed for the 4th of July weekend until probably Tuesday. I was stressed and in dire need of parts, tools and mechanical help. A young man I met at the store committed himself to providing what tools I needed and access to the parts store. I had left a message on JJs business line with hope that he might answer. He did. He tracked me down, made contact with the appropriate mechanic to help me and checked on my situation, in person at least four times until the situation was remedied. If it hadn't been for JJ returning my call, I would have lost four days of a seven day trip. I can't thank him enough and I will never forget his kindness!

Seems like he could be a nice guy but will analyze you and service you to his liking of you. Charged me $40 bucks to do a 15 second inspection after sleeping on the side of the highway in 40 degree weather the night before, leaving me stranded 400 miles from home with 20 dollars. He didn't seem too fond of me and blew me off when I reached my hand out to show appreciation for his inspection. I understand it's business, but when a fellow brother trips and falls, the last thing you do is kick him down even more.

I was broken down east of Sonora on I10 on way home from south Texas.Didn t have much of a choice but get local shop in Sonora.JJ was awesome courteous and very helpful. It was a cold wet Thursday afternoon in October when the U-joint on our Ford F250 4WD truck went out. JJ was able to diagnose the problem, take out the drive shaft with the disabled U-joint/CV-joint and get us back on the road in two wheel drive in about an hour. He really saved us and was only going to charge us $60. As my partner whipped out a $100 bill, I was thinking if you don't do it I will. Friendly and helpful, JJ's is the place to go.

We had a pulley and alternator belt break around closing time, but they stayed late to get us moving again! Very reasonable prices to.I can't thank you enough for getting us back on the road!
