Nice little gem found here in the Brazos Valley. The sausages are excellent (we've tried the hot guts, boudin and smoked BBQ links so far) and there are also bargains to be found in their bulk packaged items offered too.

Worst experience in 2023!!!!! We were out here working for the Zach Bryan concert and had some leftover BBQ we cooked the night before.. and this guy in the store didn't let us use his microwave to reheat up our lunch!!!!! We came in there about 10 deep ready to do some grocery shopping!!!!! And had a change of heart after we were told not to use the microwave!!!!!! They still out here treating Mexicans like that!!!!! Not cool!!!!!!!!!this place gets no love from us!!!!

Literally a friend of mine told me that I had to stop here. She said I don t know the name but stop when you see the sign for kolaches on the road from Dallas to Waco and go get some! The people are so friendly, the store is amazing, and the kolaches are everything!!! Everything is made fresh daily. We loved our kolaches and will stop by when we pass again!!! We got apple, traditional with poppy seeds, peach, strawberry, and mango. And some monkey bread. Yum!! And love the staff!!!!

This was our first time to use the wild game processing and it was not good. We had venison ground into hamburger with 10%beef tallow. It came back without tallow and OVER processed and mushy. We also found metal pieces with blue paint. I presume from their machine.

Poor community and customer service experience, tried to park and ride twice a week. Parked in different areas to stay out of their way, and they said no. Since I live in Snook, I will be sure not to support this business with my money. Thank You

A good place for homemade sausages and other country foods such as jellies and BBQ sauce and kolaches. The day I was there they were running low on many items, indicative of how popular this place is. We picked up some Aggie dogs, jalapeno snack sticks, hot chubbies and a few other things not available in Austin stores. When in Snook stop by to see what kind of goodies you can find.

I've been coming here for years (decades even). Delicious meats and kolaches. I highly recommend them.

A small family like stop for gas, pie, muffins (they were delicious), summer sausage and cheese platters (these have been my go to lunches for this trip in Texas) and much much more. Snook is a small town, but this is a gem in Texas. If you pass by on your way to or from College Station toward Austin make a stop. Don't miss out. The staff are very attentive, super friendly.

This was some good sausage (the read and white package@ H.E.B)at one point. But I guess because of Covid they lost money or something, This sausage don't look the same and surely don't taste the same. It's really sad how they took a greatProduct and cut corners or something, And know the sausage tastes like s##t. And the price keeps going up. SMH

I can't remember what they're called, but they are filled buns and they are really good! I had a sausage and cheese and a pulled pork bun on the ride to the airport followed by a peach pastry. On the plane hours later I had another sausage and cheese and a brisket bun with a macaroon for desert. I was completely stuffed. This place is on my must stop list when in the Dallas area. Staff were very patient and helpful. The coffee was excellent too!

Good food but we received about half of our order. Unfortunately we didn t check and we were already back on the road again before we realized it. Buyer beware, watch carefully when they package your bakery order. A very expensive stop for us.

Unbelievably friendly people. Great sausage and unique products. Brenda walked us through all the great products. Each one better than the last. You won t believe the prices. It is a must stop on your Texas bucket list. The Gouda and red bell pepper is amazing the summer sausage is awesome. Who am I kidding all of them are awesome! Great for any meal. Make dinner simple with one of their stuffed chicken breasts or pork cutlets. You can t go wrong. Tell them that Matt recommended you talk to Brenda. She will hook you up.

Slovacek, I stopped by your store today... made a huge detour to finally go there. Got some sausages which I will try tomorrow and a blueberry pie for tonight. Just tried that pie. It is literally the worst blueberry pie I've ever had. You should be ashamed to sell that. It's just a dark cornstarch slurry with some artificial flavor and color. And 12$ to add insult to injury. Seriously shameful. Walmart bakery pie I'm sure would be better. Come on, I'm sure you can do better. There's zero pride in making that kind of product.

The service is awesome and the food is tasty!! I always like to stop by every time we pass the area. I went to the store during thanksgiving when they were super busy and they overcharged me at the time but corrected the mistake after I gave them a call. I appreciate the honorable way they run the business.

It was a real pleasure to visit this establishment which I knew from reading and doing research about great sausage products in Texas, during my trips in the Czech Republic I tasted some remarkable product, but I would like to say the sausage from Snook is the real deal.

I was disappointed in this place on several levels. The store has a haphazard layout making it difficult to find anything. The Reuben sandwich was very dry with almost no mustard. And finally, the poor new employee checking me out was extremely frustrated and transparent about her unhappiness. She didn't like her senior trainer telling her what to do. Then she overcharged me and claimed the cash register did it. Another employee had to come to her rescue and talk the girl down because she was so upset. I was anxious to leave; she was making me that uncomfortable. I do give kiddos to the employee who solved the overcharge problem and the other one who pointed me in the right direction of the potato chips.

I love the meat counter here. In the mornings, it's nice to get fresh, hot kolaches and sausage rolls. Check out the hamburgers and other lunch specials. Grab a lunch and sit out front to visit with the locals. And for dessert, they sell Blue Bell!

Chopped brisket was awful. You really have to work hard to make brisket taste bad, but they did it.

The kolaches are disgusting. I tried them because I know of a few people that swear by these kolaches....so not worth it.
