I needed a patch on my rear driver's side tire as I had gotten a roofing tack in my tire. My dad had bought me new tires at Walmart last yr for Christmas and paid extra for rd hazard. Well he didn't buy them all the same day and last time I got my tires rotated they told me he only got rd hazard on 3 of the tires. So he gave me $20 in case they tried to say it was the one not covered, that would cover the patch. Well, I went by after work and they didn't have a wait for once. I parked gave the young guy my keys and went inside and waited. Well, a little time goes by and he comes in and tells me that they can't patch the tire because of where the nail is. I say fine I have rd hazard, that should cover the replacement. That's when the guy started saying that rd hazard has good features but it doesn't cover everything and that I've used a certain amt of tread so I'm only gonna get so much toward a new car. I tell the guy just to come back with a price, my dad gave me $20 hopefully it's not more than that. He tells me oh its gonna be more than that...he comes back with like $100 Including mounting and all that. I was like my dad paid around $100 for the tire, I started getting suspicious and tried to call my dad but he didn't answer. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me being a woman usually but today I was. I kindly told the guy to just put the tire back on, and I'd let my dad come handle it. He could put my spare on and bring the tire himself up here to get fixed. I'm glad I left because me dad said their isn't a reason in the world they couldn't patch that tire. He said to meet him at Gus's in the morning and he'd have hi.e look at it. Got to Gus's for 9am and was leaving by 9:20 with my patched tire that cost $20. Thank you Gus for helping me out with my tire. We'll be using u from now on.

My wife went to him for a tire. one of the workers put the tire on and messed up the luggnuts . they had it so tight that I couldn't get it off to change the breaks. try to use a 1050 impack tools would not even budge it .had to have the luggnuts and studs change and one of them never was put back on. I would not use him he will stick it to you and not back any thing. So for you safety and others don't waste your time and money. I took the car to another tire shop and they struggled to get it off . That when they discovered that the studs was badly damaged. Just wanted to come on here and save others a headache and money. Several people says that they had bad experience there also. so if you use him do it at you own risk. Good luck.

Gus and crew saved my son and I x-country trip from CA to DC. Had tire shake at certain speeds and telltale steering shake, cursed Walmart that put new tires on with no or poor balancing. Got so bad, we had to stop. Found good reviews (when you subtract reviews by the clueless) of Gus' Tire Shop. Drove up and saw a classic Vett with engine pulled and a restored '60s chevy truck with hood up as well as a few recent models of different makes; obvious these guys know what their doing and knowing locals trust their work, but how would they treat two passing-thru? Gus and helper (wish I got his name!) were under a car working, they jumped up immediately to hear my tale. With just a few mins inspection, Gus asked me to look at my son's car back-two nearly-bald tires! Man, my assumption/focus/certainty on those front tires could have gotten us killed! They rolled out some "new" used tires and we all went thru to match sizes treads, condition and pick the two best. Got a great price with spin balance. Gus checked the front two, perfectly balanced! Sorry, wal-mart for disparaging you earlier. The entire time there, Gus and crew treated us like neighbors. It will be a highlight of our trip. I tipped him, but asked for a pic. Gus agreed but only if he could put his hat on. We drove off with the driving like a dream! Bonus - Gus told us the best tex-mex in Clinton was Canelo's - he was right!

He sells dry rotted tires that are very unsafe on the road. I know I've bought from him and the tire peeled the next day. He also does inspection and will stick it to you so he can make more money off you.

Went in this morning and got 2 tires. They were super fast & friendly. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Good price too.

Took 2 tires there had them mount and balance and put on my car. Gus charged me $80 was going to charge me $90 till I complained. Never again!

Came in to get an inspection on my vehicle. The process was fast and painless as always and the folks that run the place are very nice. The shop looks a little run down but they do go service.

Friendly associates/ owner. I had two bad front tires, bought two used tires. I was running late for work, when I got out my car at work and looked at the tires, they're two different sizes. I was so livid, I usually look at this before leaving but didn't due to rushing. I'm suppose to go back for an estimate tomorrow for a frontend alignment. I chose them because it's local, & I was trying to support the business knowing it may be more expensive. I won't be back, very disappointed

Just terrible will try his best to overprice. tell you one price then right before doing the work.. Ohh i cant do it for lest than this price... CUSTOMER BEWARE

I understand why no one was at this place. He didn't want to fix my tire. He didn't want to put it back on truck. He refused to put my share tire back on my truck. Hell he didn't even put it in the back of my truck. The absolutely the worst place to go.

Great shop for used tires. Was only charged $48/tire for near new condition. Quick service, and everyone is friendly.
