When I called, I was greeted with a calm and respectful demeanor by Chris. When I arrived he was kind and assured me that my car will be looked at within a timely fashion. He kept me updated whenever the mechanics popped in to give him an update, without making me feel completely clueless in my situation. Other customers came in and expressed their appreciation for his understanding and patience with their troubles and concerns. Chris answered all of my questions regarding my car with confidence. The other mechanics who I did encounter also shared this same level of respect, professionalism and attention as well. I overall compliment the whole team at this location based off of my experience. I do plan to continue my services with Frank's Automotive. The waiting area was clean and had a comfortable couch for me to rest while I waited. Overall great experience. Thank you everyone for helping me get my car back to normal function mode

So great!!! My brother made the appointment for my car, they had me in and out quickly and I've been running smooth since!!! No hassle, no trying to overcharge, no rude attitude, absolutely amazing! And even though crazy busy, amazing customer service regardless. I watched one of the guys get screamed at and still nothing but respect.

Service was awesome. George was very courteous and polite. I dropped off my car for repairs and he was very helpful and did the repair very quick. He also kept in contact with what all was needed and repair cost,etc. I would definitely recommend this company and will be a repeat customer

Don t go here unless you have a lot of money. They are a complete rip-off. Son s car stopped in the middle of the road and wouldn t go. We had it towed to Franks. They told us it was the alternator. It was actually a faulty cam sensor. Son told them check engine light had been on and also the abs light. They charged us over $100 for diagnostics and didn t even pull codes. Issue continued after picking up car. Check engine light and abs light were still on. Husband pulled codes and found the cam position sensor was bad. Replaced it and car is fine now. Also they charged $400 for a remanufactured alternator. That s double the going rate. The total was over $800. My son is a very hard working college student, working through school. He is responsible for his own bills and was unaware the price was too much. By the time I talked to him and let him know it was too late. They said they d charge the diagnostic fee and a lot of the labor anyway even though they were still waiting for the part. Don t go here unless you want to pay double and leave with the wrong part replaced. I recommend Guillens. I wish he would ve taken it there but our roadside assistance would ve charged extra to tow there. He still would ve save hundreds though.

George was recommended for my 2005 Thunderbird took it in thought I had a transmission leak turned out to be power steering pressure switch. Less than a day had it back repaired. I try to always shop locally and I was very pleased with the results and the service. I would highly recommend Franks Automotive.

I work nights and was unable to help my 19 year old son who s paying for his own college when he had vehicle trouble in Seguin. His brakes locked up so he sat with the vehicle for over an hour with the hazards on until the tow truck arrived and ultimately the battery went dead. Franks supposedly did a diagnostic for $108.00 and said his alternator was bad and was what caused his issue (it was not). They charged my son $400 for a reman alternator and the total bill was over $800. Didn t pull ABS codes after being asked and also didn t pull engine codes, all they did was check voltage on the system without charging the battery for $108. Son left their shop with a check engine light and ABS light on and a much small bank account balance. His car had a bad cam position sensor and we still have to figure out the ABS. Service writer George was instantly defensive, unwilling to work with us, and didn t have any sane answer as to why a reman alternator was 3x the price of anywhere else. Don t trust these greedy unethical people with your kid or your wife.

Had my car towed in to your auto shop .When I got there George met me with compassion and that he was very concerned about what I needed.After he found out what was wrong with my vehicle he let me know what part it needed and the price .The day start bad with my car breaking down but bad day into a good one.He was able to fix my car and have my back on the road that same day.I told George that I don t live in Seguin but was just traveling through if I lived there Franks Automobile is were I would ve taken my vehicle for repairs.I

I had a great experience with Franks automotive.I had went to several different shops in Seguin and ether the shop was way high on estimate r simply didn't want the work Franks gave me a estimate for half of what other shops gave me and finished on time and on budget great shop and highly recommend

George was up front with all the issues and costs. They were able to work my car into their schedule and it was complete when he said and the cost didn't change. This is my 2nd vehicle being fixed here and I'm extremely happy with Frank's.

I am totally OK with miscommunication but when you take your car and and you have a conversation with the gentleman named George and he assures you that he is going to call you and only you and explain what the diagnostic came back with and all he did was figured out that the fuel pump was out And needed to be replaced. I paid almost $900 to get this car fixed and I think what s wrong about this company Frank s Frankies automotive in Seguin is that they took $110 supposedly put it on the machine and everywhere I have been to do a diagnostic you have a list of things , that is wrong with the car and I was told that they did the diagnostic, but that they were under the impression that I just wanted them to fix the car of why it kept dying even though I asked the diagnostic tell me what else is wrong with the car the answer was yes did I get that service, I have to pay another $110 for them to tell me that one more thing is wrong instead of what s wrong with the whole car I do not recommend this company and word-of-mouth is huge

Franks automotive is outstanding. I like that they rush a job, make sure everything is working. This place has my business, next tuneup for my Chrysler 300. Replace my thermostat and did an outstanding job.

Took my car in when it first became Frank's instead of Richardsons. My car hasn't worked the same since. The cardboard cover that covers under the dashboard was ripped, went back and they glued it, it's still torn. Found out today, saying over priced, is being nice! They wanted to charge me $2,235 for something Behrendt Auto Repair did for $483, and has great customer service!! Frank's charged me $156 just to tell me that's what it would take $2200 to fix it and did nothing to it. Behrendt Auto gained a new customer today, thanks Frank's, we miss Richardsons!

I'm a very satisfied repeat customer. I grew up working on cars, building engines and building street rods. I'm now handicapped and can no longer work on cars. I've tried other shops in the area but I feel that Frank's is the best around and they're the only shop I'll use. They stand behind their work, they don't lowball their estimates and then keep increasing the charges their estimates are what pay.

I can t complain, Truck Had a Misfire and was repaired accordingly. Also agreed to change out a few extra spark plugs I provided. Oil change and so far so good . Thanks to All involved. They charged me $108 to not even find the true issue, turned out to be something completely different from what they diagnosed. Then they charged me 400 bucks for refurbished a part that should have costed less that 200 bucks, and less that 300 to get it brand new. Please don t make the mistake of going to these losers because they ll rip you off.

What a pleasure this auto repair shop is. George who works the front counter is gracious, prompt and keeps you informed on your vehicle. Very informed staff, a real breath of fresh air. My sister took her car here and trusted these folks. Unfortunately they are not ethical they charged $598 for a battery that would have taken me 20 minutes to change plus the189.00 for the battery. I could go on but I don't have time.

I would like to thank Frank's Automotive for getting me back on the road again. A lot of Mechanics don't like to work on old cars BUT the age of my car didn't matter at Frank's Automotive they were awesome and respectful and I was finally able to get my car inspected thanks to the great work they did on my car. The customer service was outstanding. They went above and beyond. I was told by a "highly rated" automotive center that I needed a pretty expensive repair. I felt something was "off" so I got a referral from a dealership, to Franks. They took a look and it wasnt the same repair at an outragous cost, it was an easier repair at half the cost. I will be returning if any of my vehicles need repair and will most certainly refer people to them!

George and the folks at Frank's Automotive have literally saved my life! They came out into the intersection in front of the business once to PUSH my car into the business! For all I know I would still be stuck inside my car at the intersection if they didn't help me. Currently they AGAIN fixed something quickly, professionally and with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Note to ladies: George does not condesend to or bamboozle ladies (or men!) so if you are unhappy where you are because of how you're treated, GO TO FRANK'S ! Fair pricing, quick excellent work and GREAT customer service with no extra charge for life saving!

I ve been chasing a Throttle Body issue for over a year. I ve done some expensive replace it troubleshooting myself, replacing the Throttle Body and accelerator twice, the Mass Airflow Sensor, and the Throttle Actuator Control Module. Needless to say, I ve reached the end of my mechanical limit as well as my funds. Franks Automotive diagnosed it to the connector to the Throttle Body and set me on my way $500 less than expected. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot and diagnose, rather than follow another replace it strategy. Very Respectfully, ToddService: Electrical repair

George was so helpful and they took care of our AC issues just ahead of the simmering summer that's approaching. All communications and services were 100 percent. They even did a vehicle inspection and sent us a copy to outline all the issues wrong with our truck. If it wasn't for that inspection we wouldn't of known about the tire on the inside being completely worn out. Didn't even notice it from the outside. Thanks!!! We will be back
