Honest business.Excellent customer service from the receptionist/secretary, Laurie, and the mechanic/assistant who scooped me up to come get my car.100% A+ CommunicationI never had to wonder what was going on because they were calling me to tell me.Straightforward and direct answers.You guys have a customer for life.

They have done great work on 2 of our vehicles. I didn't know they did more than transmissions. Great work, didn't break the bank and problems were fixed, unlike another mechanic shop.

Horrible service. Called to get a quote and set an appointment, she took all my info make model and everything and said I would get a call back. No call back. A simple price inquiry lead to a callback.. called Ammco in San Marcos, had a price with in the same minute I asked.Update: 3/23 owner called me back to apologize they were busy, forgot to call back. I understood he provided me the quote I needed. Very friendly guy. Quote was 150.00 for transmission fluid service.Update: 3/25 I called around 11am to see if they had any available openings today to service my car, they took make and model.. told me for sure yea she could squeeze me in. That was nice of her I ask around what time it would be ready she stated after lunch 1pm when her guys got back they would work on it. They would call when ready. 3:45 came around no call back so I called she said 45 more minutes, she would have it ready. 4:45 came around, no call I was worried because they close at 5pm. So I drove up on my lunch to get my car it was still not ready.The techs were laughing, in a huddle just talking. No one is under my car, mind you, it s been there all day. So I go inside.I get there and the clerk states the service for my car was not 150 it was 300 something dollars, because of the CVT requirement it had. I m sorry, did that not come up when you asked for my make and model twice when I asked for a quote??That s not what I was quoted. she stated no, that s the owners price and I m going to honor it. I was glad she did that however, that s why I called in advance... I began to state I need this car today my driver has a trip, I run the car being serviced for my business so you can imagine how this would of affected me if it wasn t ready.. she confirmed it would be ready. The techs they continued to laugh and joke around and not a lot of work being done until it hit 5pm doors were closing they were scrambling around. They were locking up my car while I m waiting in the parking lot. The clerk had to stop them and tell them car needed to be done today. They finished my car, gave it to me at 5:30. I was pleased when I got the car, my husband drove it home and when I arrived this is what I found. The car smelled like oil, naturally we look under the hood and to our surprise, oil all over my fan shroud, by my battery above the engine. Dripped down some of my hoses so naturally we lift the car, it gets worse! Missing bolt, broken clips, transmission pan COVERED in oil! They did not remove the plastic cover to access the transmission filter, instead the techs used a grinder to cut into the plastic cover to access the filter (red circle) and pulled it down and oil everywhere! I didn t need the clerk to specify how much or how good of a price I got I didn t go asking for discounts, and this is the service that was provided. I didn t ask for the damage. She told myHusband we did it old school?! What does that even mean? Was it done right?! Old school like experimenting on my car? If they couldn t do it or didn t have the equipment or whatever then say that.I m posting this because I ve learned my lesson about going here, i honestly gave it a chance because of how nice the owner was, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and got this in return, I hope the next person doesn t get dealt the same hand I did.

Outstanding customer service and excellent service provided by the AAMCO technicians who diagnosed the issue to be the actual front CV axles and not the transmission very honest company to work with and reasonable pricing too looking forward to being a return customer for many years to come I highly recommend AAMCO for all your transmission mechanical issues and any other services they offer

I have had two other mechanics try to fix a problem with my car before I came to AAMCO, but the problem was never resolved. AAMCO was able to identify and fix the problem the first time. I also like the fact that their work is warranted for a year.Friendly employees as well.

This guys are the real deal!!! I purchased a H2 from a car lot on the drive home the transmission ended up going out, I ended up finding aamco in seguin and they got this beast running in no time. THANK YOU AAMCO SEGUIN

Extremely pleased with the service I received from Aamco Seguin. The Mgr Lori was very knowledgeable and informative. My wife s Jeep was towed in yesterday around lunch and the service was completed by the next morning at a very reasonable cost. I will do business here again hopefully later then sooner.

I had my Transmission rebuilt , and had some A/C Work done on my Lincoln Navigator. I had to take it back in because it was having some shifting issues and ended up needing a new Solenoid in the Transmission. I just want to say that Laurie at the Front Desk and her Husband, Robert the Mechanic that worked on my car are AWESOME! Laurie had someone drive my Daughter and I home when I dropped it off as it is our only vehicle. Thanks Laurie! They are both very nice and professional. I needed my car done by the next day so I could take my Daughter to and from school and my car wasn t ready by the time they were going to close for the day and both of them stayed AFTER hours until the job was done and then they drove my car back to my home for me! I can t tell you both how much I appreciate everything y all did for us because you sure didn t have to. Anyone looking for a place that gets the job done right and as quick as possible these are your guys! I highly recommend taking your vehicle here! A lot of these overly positive reviews sometimes make a place sound too good to be true, but I went in with my mom to figure out her transmission troubles and they were the best mechanics I've ever met. I have NEVER (not even a little bit) taken my vehicle to a mechanic for any reason, and I took my truck with starter issues to them. They were fast, fair, and helpful. I'm done crawling under my truck- pass the river, over the bridge, off to AMCO we go.

Got our car looked at in a timely manor and was able to get it fixed in an hour. VERY very nice people!! Took my car in because my belt popped and was pouring oil, the issue was found. I received a quote on parts and labor and i permitted the work , They gave me updates and kept in contact with me through the process. I let them know I wasn t in a hurry for my car to be done and I received it back in a fair amount of time. My car hasn t had leaks since and I haven t popped a belt again. I paid the almost the exact amount they quoted me. I highly recommend coming here!Service: Engine repair

This would be my 2 visit to aamco. First visit was for a routine oil change bout 2 weeks ago, I was taken care of in a professional manner. The service was quick and was out in no time. Abby and her staff was awesome!This second visit I called Abby needing my car checked because I started to smell antifreeze.She told me bring it in and we will figure out ur problem. Once I was there the staff to a close look into my car and found my thermostat housing was cracked. They never did answer the phone when I tried multiple times and I was broken down. So I called the AAMCO in San Marco and they answered immediately and advised me that they were open to accept me and my vehicle which needed a new transmission. They got me in and out within 3 days. I've been a trusted AAMCO customer for 45 years. However this location lost the opportunity for my business

These wonderful angel superheroes came to the rescue of one frustrated out-of-town attorney whose alternator decided to die as I drove into town. I cannot thank you enough for the professional, friendly, and assuring disposition; and for immediately jumping on my car for the repair which got me safety back on the road and ultimately able to drive home to Brownsville without a hitch. I took my car in because she was leaking coolant. I took her in at 8:30 in the morning and was told it d be a two hour wait. So I waited two hours only to have to call them and be told it d be another 4 to 5 hour wait because the transmission is hurt . They didn t explain what was wrong at all and said they needed to replace a part to stop the leak. So I waited until 4 pm before I told them to give me a release form. I immediately took her to a different mechanic who said they didn t do anything. Literally nothing. I still have the receipt that says I was charged near 200 for services and parts, my car still leaked and nothing was touched. This place is an absolute scam and I highly recommend looking somewhere else for your services. NOTE: Using a fake name to avoid being harassed.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Excellent experience at this AAMCO! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Abby and the service techs were able to determine the problem with my transmission- unfortunately a very big one. However, the team thoroughly researched all my options (replace with new transmission, replace with used transmission, rebuild in house) and helped me to determine whether I qualified for 12-mo interest-free financing.If you're lucky, you may also get some puppy love from the owner's sweet girl, Mika! 10/10 recommend!(Side note: As a woman with slim-to-minimal vehicle knowledge, I know that some shops might take advantage.. It was reassuring to have a kickass woman mechanic like Abby behind the scenes!)Service: Transmission

I don't feel that they even diagnosed the problem. They just took my word on what I thought it might be and replaced my torque converter. I was quoted a price of over 1800 dollars. When I objected they dropped the price a little over 400 dollars. I got the vehicle back and it is still doing the same thing that I paid 1400 dollars to get fixed. My floor mat has grease and oil all over it now. They didn't even use a protective paper cover for my floorboard. Needless to say I'm not happy. I called the manager and got a line of BS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS BUSINESS!Service: Transmission

My Nissan Titan threw a P0780 error code (transmission). Was out of warranty by a few months, something that AAMCO verified themselves. They test drove the vehicle and found it fine, but recommended I get it checked later in the week. I've never been treated so well.

Went in for an AC replacement ended up with all these new issues on my car and ended up not even being able to drive my car out of their shop. Ended up with no car and in order from them to fix the issue they broke I would have to drop a lot more money. So took my car in for a simple AC replacement and came out with no car. Do not use them.never was I in an accident but thanks for the response. .people unless you want to have to get a whole new vehicle do not use them.save yourself a headache and lost of your money and go anywhere else. I went in with a leaking rear brake. When they were done their mechanic noticed the other side had started leaking. Their manager was very professional about breaking the news to me. In fact he informed me they would cover the new leak at no charge! My bill was the amount quoted and they kept in touch.
