0 Stars if possible! Went for inspection and he failed me for tint that's been on my car for 10 years, 2 before I purchased it! 2 other inspectors in different counties agreed it should pass, but couldn't, because of him! I had to spend almost $200 to replace my tint with light cut out area, because this "high and mighty" inspection person, plus another day without pay to drive to Bellville to get registration. Now, the light bugs me driving, when I look in my rear view mirror. No thanks to anyone there! NEVER GO THERE!

Thiefs don't bring your car to be serviced here I brought 4 rotors and 4 sets of brake pads they only installed 3 rotors and kept the one I pay for and charged me for the 4th rotor install

I was going there to try to get inspections and I kept getting attitude and they tried to turn me away just because my OLD registration on my vehicle was from Montgomery county, which I don't live in anymore. They didn't even try to explain anything about signing any kind of forms like I did last year when I tried to get it inspected and it failed the first time. They acted like they just didn't give a ----. If you fail an inspection from them about a muffler, don't listen to them about having to drive at least 30 minutes to go to Katy if you're in Sealy. There's one about 15 minutes or so from Ward Bend and I-10 area. It's in Wallis...closer than Katy, especially if your registration and everything is out of date. The guys at Kwik Kar are not very helpful at all.

Don't go here for an inspection. They are VERY particular and have given both me and my husband a hard time for things that every other place has no problem with. They refused to give my car an inspection because the sticker still said my previous county, even though my renewal notice came from Austin county since I had indeed already gotten it registered for austin county earlier that year. Even the tax office said they have issues with this place. I went to S&S Automotive the same day and got an inspection no problem.

Owner is a very miserable individual. Failed me on window tint. Apparently it was 6% darker than legal. 6%. Took the truck else where and was passed with flying colors. He s a dishonest scared little man.

I took my vehicle in to have my bearings changed and they explained if you have them replaced you should do two of the same so I say do the front and I would get the other 2 later but they say do the back so we agreed on one front one back and I would get the other 2, well they didn't tighten the lugs on rear and it ruined my wheel and discount tire said they should replace it I too it to them and all of a sudden the owner is out of town they also broke the abs and refuse to fix that as well. The management are not the best with customer relations.

Wouldn't bring my truck here if I was yall. I went in to get a state inspection and they said I would fail because of emissions. This is Austin county its a safety only inspection. Also I have a diesel truck. In the state of Texas diesel trucks are safety only. If these guys can't get a simply safety inspection done correctly I would have any mechanical things done. I don't know if it's a lack of knowledge or just plain laziness. There was only one other vehicle there will 3 guys standing around. Kwik Kar needs to step there game up with they guys they hire.

I have come here for years now, before, in the beginning, I was not so fond of the place.... but in the last 2 years they have really turned around.. They are fast (oil change- 10 minutes) (Oil change and Inspection- 20minutes), efficient (never had any issues with my car after being serviced) and the best part they explain and show you hands on why something needs to be replaced.. Of course they try to sell you products that's how you make money BUT they are not forced on you like before in the beginning, a few years back..Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Failed my vehicle on state inspection. Went to two other garages to have the problem looked into; both said there was no problem. Been going to this location for 20 years for oil changes, inspections , etc. Changes in management has me questioning going to them anymore.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

We needed a car inspection. They were really quick. We were in and out in no time with plenty of time to go and get our tags the same day. They young man that helped us even took a quick look under our dash at an air conditioner noise, no charge. Their waiting area is very clean and they always have magazines.

Great place! Fast, friendly and reasonably priced. But I did notice they forgot to put two of my caps on for my truck tires when they filled them but all in all I will definitely be back for an oil change. Fastest one I have ever had . :)

Absolutely no complaints. Fast oil change & general look-around at a very fair price. Per other comments, there were some ~recommendations~ made, but all were given the caveat "if you don't do it, it won't cause you to break down." In fact, I had them check my brakes (which I thought were getting past it, after 180000 miles) and they could easily have told me I needed a $400 brake job, but they told me . . . . "the brakes look fine." Very satisfied. They run it a bit like a military operation, with shouted calls and responses between the mechanics, but that is not at all a bad thing --- in fact, makes you feel in good hands, that things are being double-checked.

They are under new ownership and the manager, Chance, and the whole crew are knowledgeable and professional. They work with you to lay out what work needs to be done in a prioritized fashion! There were no surprises and they guarranty their work. If you live in Katy, they are worth they trip. Integrity and Quality is hard to find in auto repair and service today. Thanks, guys!!

Fast service but poor integrity. I took my car here for an inspection 6 months ago and was told it needed new windshield wipers. The car is within 5 years old so it seemed reasonable. My brother took his truck the following month and it also needed windshield wipers to pass it's inspection. I took my dad's car to get it inspected today and it would not pass without new windshield wipers either! 3 cars all needing new windshield wipers within 6 months is not a coincidence. Took my buisness to Riverside down the road and the last vehicle passed with no problems.

Awesome service, got into Sealy from work and they offered me the opportunity to stay in my car during the oil change which was wonderful during this pandemic! Then when I realized my tires needed rotation the manager and 2 of the other guys jumped right on it and my whole entire visit was like 20 mins tops. Oh, btw you do have to get out for the rotation but that was completely understandable.

Let me say, I've put some serious miles on my car and have had tons of experience at different oil and lube places. I know when I go in there what i NEED and what I need.That being said, Paul handled us today with not only compassion, but serious professionalism. We got our oil changed, got a fuel injector kit done (probably cheaper on our own, but guy was so nice we went ahead and let him do it.) He went ahead and threw in a tire rotation with it.He checked our brakes, said we would need some soon and priced it, but no pressure.Go here if you need work done in Sealy. Paul will give it to you straight and the new management is big in honesty and trust.

Went there to have transmission oil changed then went back again to get other maintenance done a couple of months later. I was then told that my transmission fluid needed to be changed!!?? Are you kidding me? I just back about 120.00 and transmission need to be serviced again? Either they A. Did not do it right or at all or B They were lying about it needing to be done again. Now they did not know that they just serviced my vehicle because I lost a license plate and had to get new ones so they thought they had never serviced my vehicle before. Scam Artist!

After a problem with oil leak , and several trips to get it repaired the right way, the manager was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Very polite and knowledgeable. The manager, Chase I believe was his name, was very professional and didnt try to force me to buy anything that was recommended. I was I and out real quick. I will use this place whenever I am in town.

this is an excellent place to have your oil change , they are honest and go out of their way to satisfied .i wont go anywhere else. as long as Chance the manager is there. this guy not scare to work and make customer happy

I can't believe I continue to come to this place. The only reason is because it is a quick in and out on a Saturday. Riverside and Bellville are the other closest options. I have seen people checking out in front of me get scammed. I brought my truck with less than 15,000 miles on it once and the guy came in here with a black finger and said my differential fluid was in bad shape. I told him to check the miles before he come in here with some stupid stuff like that. They even have a sign posted that technicians may approach you to present other service or recommendations. If you know car maintenace and call call their bluff, use them as a last resort. Up selling service is one thing, but deceiving people without mechanical aptitude is wrong.
