Great shop with quick service that does honest work. I took my truck in to have the AC worked on and the AC was fixed by the next day. When I went to pick up my vehicle a check engine light had then shown up. The shop took my truck back and fixed the check engine light free of charge. Really appreciated that not only did they fix my original problem but never tired to charge me for a new problem that had shown up while my vehicle was under their care.

I spoke with Henry, the owner, he quoted me $400 for a cv axel for a 2017 Toyota Corolla. Tony the receptionist is now telling me it will cost over $750! Tony is refusing to give me the price of what Henry quoted me even though he is the owner!!! . Don t go to this scam of a car shop, you ll be lied to and misled too!

Their service is inexpensive, and they definitely have a customer friendly environment. Had some repair work done on my vehicleThe front desk personnel kept me abreast of how the repairs were coming along, what needed to happen to get my vehicle back on the road, and had my vehicle ready to go ahead of the deadline they had set. A step above some of the other garages, car repair shops in the area.

We brought my car in this morning, got a call two hours later telling us what was wrong. Finished the repair, same day, by 2:30pm. So far we are super impressed with this shop and will definitely return. In fact, we are expecting to bring my husband's car in soon. It's hard to spot where the office is. Definitely need some signs placed around the parking area. It's the little house to the right of the warehouse and garage. My husband wandered around a bit before he ran into someone who directed him to where he needed to be.

I quit taking my car to the dealership. It seems interesting that the dealership finds all these so call worrisome issues and Main Street Garage does not...because they are not true issues. When they are not selling cars, it seems they have to push service down your throat. That's why I go to Main Street Garage...they are honest and very professional. I feel the staff is very reliable.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm another customer that's been coming here for years and have always been satisfied with the level of service and quality I receive. But after this last time, I have to take some time to provide some feedback. Last week, the battery went dead in my truck. When I took it to the auto parts store, they told me my alternator is bad and that's probably what drained the battery. The next morning, I took the truck to Main St. Garage and told them my story. After a couple of hours, they called me back and told me my alternator is fine and only charged me a $30 diagnostic fee. I've been driving the truck for a week now and all is well with just a new battery. Main St. Garage could have easily charged me to install a new alternator but they did the right thing instead. I'm super impressed and will continue to be a loyal customer!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Henry is best mechanic that I've come across in a long time. He's very appreciative and understanding. He does his best to give you the service you need. Might give them another chance. Called for an estimate on some repairs and talked to one guy. Seemed reasonable and I was going to have the repairs done there, but then I called and talked to a different guy to ask to add an additional part ($60) and the price more than Doubled to $850. Even with additional labor @120/hr for 2 hours to install the additional part, they're overcharging me. Not cool.

Been taking my cars here for years, and they have always done a wonderful job both explaining what needs to be done and completing the job. They've never tried to talk me into anything that wasn't necessary, and they advise me on work that may be needed soon (and what signs to look for). Plus their prices are very competitive. Highly recommend

My husband has used MAIN ST. GARAGE in the past and has always said good things about them. Today was my first visit for an issue I was having with my car and not only was I seen immediately without having to wait, the service manager Michael was friendly and took care of my brake light within minutes, I didn't even have to get out of my car! Being someone with little knowledge about cars, Michael was patient and informative when I had questions. I'll definitely return to them any time I need a service done on my vehicle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Main Street was great! Very professional and quick. My car died in their area, and not being from SA, I did not know where to go. I called around and everyone was booked for the week. When I called main Street, they said I could come in and immediately started ordering parts for me and opening up their schedule to help. Everyone there was very knowledgeable and friendly. They got me in my way quickly.

Absolutely the best mechanic shop I've ever dealt with. I will never go anywhere else. The price is reasonable and they do a great job. The owner Henry is an honest man and Michael in the front office is a very honest man and great with the customers as well as the rest of the employees. I'd give them 10 stars but 5 is the highest. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good and honest mechanic.

Loved it! Just found my new mechanic here finally! Been here @ 9 months and I have gone to 3 different places, and this is the one! They were friendly and fast, and most important, fairly priced. They didn't try to sell me things that I don't need because I'm a woman who knows nothing about cars . Very happy and definitely recommend!!

I had a great experience here at the Main St Garage. I came to them with a flat tire and they immediately took the time to repair it for me. Michael the Service manager was very kind and helpful to me. God Bless and keep up the good work!

Michael and his master techs have always done an amazing job with all of our vehicles. They are our trusted go-to mechanics for any problem big or small. I am given the same respect as my husband, and our children are treated as valuable customers when their vehicles need attention. Michael is considerate of our time and finances and can be trusted to be on time with no surprise charges.

Until today, I have always dreaded taking my car in for repairs or even maintenance. However, after going to Main Street Garage, I know there is a place I can take my vehicle for repairs or upkeep that won't bend me over a barrel.The staff and mechanics are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I received quick and effective service - and their displays of customer service have won me over as a customer on a permanent basis.Getting your vehicle repaired doesn't have to be painful, you just need to have a great auto-shop like Main Street Garage.

Went to Main Street after consulting with friend Javier Martinez whom related that he services his vehicles their to include his 64 Mustang. He spoke volumes of ol school mechanic Scott and how thorough he is!Arrived with my 66 Chevy SS and was greeted by Serv Mgr Tony whom was very welcoming and attentive to my needs and expectations to my needs and desires for my car. He was honest and told me that he would have SCOTT check it out and get back with me with a quote. He did do in an expeditious manner and did advise me it would take 2 wks for parts to come in bc of the Memorial Day delay.To my surprise it was ready on time and done better than my expectations!!I also was greeted by Henry/Owner who took the time to see if my expectations were met. Informed him he had an awesome staff!!!I will return with my Wife s 86 Monte SS..THANKS SCOTT!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I am very optimistic about my vehicle. Like many my car is my life. In this town no car means a huge set back. I made it there to Main Street, as my mother bless her soul used to be a loyal customer for years. I took it to those who know what they are doing. They were very kind, extremely helpful, very educated in the knowledge of my foreign vehicle. I had a date and time that I can not miss that requires my vehicle. I was assured that it would be ready in time. That day has not come yet but they kept in contact enough to make me feel like I am the best hands ever.Ty Michael, Steven and the other wonderful gentleman.

My Jeep with just over 36K had a check engine light warning. I had it checked was told it was the thermostat. I contacted the dealership was told it was covered under the power train warranty. Upon taking it in for the repair I was told it wasn t covered. I called around choosing Main Street Garage. The staff is informative, the price was fair and the work was completed the same day. They even called the following day when the shop was closed to see how my vehicle was. Their customer service is top notch even offering a warranty for work performed. This level of customer service is rare nowadays. I highly recommend Main Street Garage.

Used to love this garage. I really did. I used to recommend Main Street Garage to everyone. But it has gone downhill since then. I would no longer recommend this garage. They used terrible quality parts for the AC compressor, and didn't even use the correct spark plugs.

I brought our Toyota Sienna here a couple months ago for some issues that one of the Toyota dealers pointed out. I wanted a second opinion because the dealer was asking close to $3k for repairs on wheel bearings, struts and other items. Main Street Garage looked at it. They said a couple items were non-issues and the real issue to repair was going to be 2/3rds less than what dealer quoted. Main Street was quick and their entire team was friendly. Driving up you might not think it s anything special, but the garage itself is setup well and is clean! Cleanliness reflects attitude. I ll be bringing my vehicles back here again for any other needed repairs.

I m using my daughters account to leave this review. My (Lara Duenas) gear shift cable was loose and wouldn t allow me to shift gears. When I called the garage, I spoke to Michael and he knew what was wrong with my car before I finished explaining it. He also helped me in arranging a tow truck to get it there. He personally repaired the issue and had my vehicle back to me before the day was over. My experiences with the staff have always been excellent and their work is top notch!

My wife ran over something and damaged the compartment under front bumper causing piece to scrub when driving. Bruce and the guys had it fixed in less than a hr and didn t charge me a dime!!! I took all my family cars here and always great customer service and honest here! Would definitely recommend and come back!!!

I've been here a couple of times for my 2001 Ford Escape when i 1st purchased it. Mike at the front office is an awesome employee. Always gave options and even helped with DIY projects to save me money. Havent had any issues. I was always updated. Thank you Mike and Main Street for taking care of me.

I have had many bad experiences with autoshops. Mainstreet Garage and Tony were the exception to this! Not only does Tony get to you quickly with a diagnosis and price to fix, he is amazing about explaining to you in detail the issue in a way you would understand. The turnaround time on repairs is also MUCH FASTER then anywhere else I have experienced and prices are exactly what I expected them to be. I highly recommend Mainstreet and wouldn't go anywhere else after the experiences they have created for me!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I was driving my mother and daughter around in my van last week and the tire pressure light came on. I ignored it thinking it was nothing and then a few minutes later I heard a terrible noise coming from the front of the car. I realized quickly that it was the right front tire which had become completely flat. We happened to be on Schertz Parkway and I discovered that I had left my phone at home. I tried to drive the car a little ways down the road but it sounded terrible. I managed to turn onto Main St and I pulled into the first Garage I could find. I m so glad it was Main St Garage. The service manager immediately offered to help. He filled up my tire enough so that I could pull further into the garage and then he examined the tire, discovered that it had two holes in it. Then he and a technician put the spare on for me. I didn t have the key to the wheel lock and they were able to unlock it with their own device. I was utterly grateful for their help! It was so stressful to be in that situation and they literally came to the rescue. I would highly recommend their garage. The mechanics I spoke to were polite and friendly and the service manager was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely kind!

Michael in the front office is so helpful and professional. These guys go above and beyond the call of duty to help you out at a reasonable price. Absolutely the best mechanic shop Iv ever been too. They are honest and reliable. Thank you again for all your help with my vehicles. I will never go anywhere else.

Main Street Garage is a Veteran owned company with high standards and excellent customer service. Every time that I have gone they have treated me with the utmost respect and explained to me what is wrong with my vehicles and what was the best solution to fix and how to prevent the problem from occurring again. They have also given me the option to replace or repair what is recommended at the current time by the factory specs. I have no problem recommending Main Street Garage for they earned my business and respect.

This is the best experience I have ever had at the mechanics! I had car issues that had been 'fixed' multiple times by a previous mechanic with no success. One day! A few hours as a matter of fact was what it took to fix most of them with this crew! They are courteous, awesome, salt of the earth people who don't treat you like you're dumb. Every single problem was diagnosed, every part needed was described and they have my business for as long as I am in this area! Thanks guys. You're the best!
