We brought in my wife's van for suspension work after an accident. They didn't even bother to do the work on-site, they subbed it out to a regular mechanic just down the street who didn't have the necessary equipment or skills to assess or repair it properly. It took them a week and a half to get the van back to us, and we wasted hundreds of dollars on rental charges waiting on them. I put them in touch with the Honda dealership who told them what needed to be done. They still couldn't figure it out, and we wasted more time and money. They ultimately never got it right, and we had to go elsewhere. I had a horrible experience with Classic Collision, and I would never consider using them again, either at this or any other location.

This is the second time we ve taken our Tahoe to this location, and each time we have had an excellent experience.The price is by far the best we ve been able to find, and the work performed and the short amount it takes to get our vehicle back is great. We had our door handle break off and they ordered our part and fixed us right up so FAST! Looks amazing and didn t break the bank.Our tech this time was super professional and informative! Will be a returning customer :)

The original quote was for $4300. I ended up paying $5000 for the paint job. It took 5 weeks, which was 3 weeks longer than quoted. Noticed some issues and got the run around. Had a major water leak that left mold growing. Dropped the vehicle off, forcing them to fix my issues. Took them TWO weeks to get to a repair I thought they would cover, giving the extent of the damage they caused in the first place. I have mold growing on the seat belts, in the seats, on the floor, and possibly in the head liner. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make contact with anyone above the shop. No wonder they hide their corporate number.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

With insurance they take really good care of me, without insurance they took two months just to get my front fixed. There was a few other problems and they told me three times that they would send info about what was wrong. Never got it, they said it would take a week for parts to come over. Never happen. I also had a wheel messed up. Never had that fixed (was promised it would be fixed the same time as my front). They messed up really hard on my dust shield . Went to the manager told me it was the breaks and that they had nothing to do with their end. Luckily I had another worker test drive it and confirmed it wasn t my breaks and it was their end. Will never go here even with insurance because no transparency. Told many lies. Tried really hard to just brush me off so I can go. I m taking my car to another shop. Waste of money, waste of time. Got a sorry but not even from anyone but the front. The front desk lady was nice though so thanks to her I kept my cool, other than that, a horrible place that didn t even fully fix my car.

***Updated 20 Feb 18The driver s side door paint has already begun blemishing (8 months later). Not from contact with anything or weather but rather just a normal fade of paint from a shoddy paint job.***Car had hail damage and required replacement of it s hood, roof, left panels, and left doors. The repair was done with extremely poor skills and quality control. The interior was not protected during the painting process. White primer paint was scattered over the seats, radio/navigation system, dashboard, center console, air conditioning knobs and vents, steering wheel, etc. The light sensors (used by the auto headlights, interior lighting, instrument panel, navigation system, etc.) on the dash were sprayed with the primer. In an attempt to cover up the mistake, AMMCC painted over everything including the sensors with black paint, causing their inability to properly function. AMMCC attempted to cover up the mistake by painting trim panels, abrasively scrubbing surfaces, and leaving many surfaces defaced by primer paint. In addition, a used large 3M scrubbing sponge was left inside of the engine compartment (possible fire/safety hazard), dirt littered the headliner, and a strong scent from the dye (which was used to detail the leather) caused nausea while driving without the windows open. Not only was my car left dirty, but my health and safety was put at risk. AMM damaged trim panels, left areas of metal panels unpainted or improperly painted, improperly installed panels, left metal shavings in the trunk, did not reinstall structural screws and bolts, permanently broke flanged connection points on the plastic bumper, and so on. Everything above was mentioned to AMMCC, and the company assured it would all be fixed. The manager of the Schertz location, Henry Roberts, then, over a course of a week, began what appeared to be tactical stalling and a covering up his shop s mistake. I called the AMMCC shop in Austin, and the manager there was very helpful and expeditious to get assistance for me. An owner of AMMCC, John Caldwell, contacted me and assured that the situation would be handled appropriately. AMMCC filed a claim through their insurance to cover the primer damage. The rest of the damage was pointed out in detail and AMMCC assured that it would be dealt with. After the second repairs were complete, several of the mentioned issues had not been addressed AND new issues were evident from the second repair e.g. a seven (7) inch key-like scratch (bare metal is visible) across roof rack. At this point, I needed my vehicle for the weekend, so I paid for the repairs in full and told AMMCC that I would return after the weekend to have the remaining issues addressed (at this point the AMMCC rep confirmed that would be acceptable). Upon returning to AMMCC, I told the same AMMCC rep of the situation and my limited time. I was told that the shop would NOT have time to fix the issues , my car is unfixable since things keep going wrong at the shop , that I should contact my insurance company in order to take the car to another shop and that new shop would file for a supplement to fix the damage [that AMMCC created and was paid in full for]. In actuality, my insurance company would not cover the costs because AMMCC is liable for the damage. I contacted the AMMCC in Austin in order to speak with the owner, John Caldwell, once more. He assured that they would pull out the red carpet and my car would be serviced properly before I had to leave town. I left the car with AMMCC for two complete work days before returning. Three of eight items were completed, with two of those three accomplished to an unsatisfactory level. In addition to the items above, compounding the issue, I was forced to leave with the windshield spray nozzles and the light sensors completely inoperable.

My car was returned dirty. Dirt everywhere, seats dirty, a caprisun juice in the back, with my back seat all wet. Plus a plastic car part in the back seat. Not only was my car turned in dirty but I have to go back to get another rental so that the ABs sensor can be fixed/reset. I ll have to get another rental, pay additional days of insurance all because you could not accommodate to have someone else fix that.You guys took 2 weeks to fix my car and plus now I need to deal with a dirty car that I did not dirty, drive back and forth with these cheap gas prices, make extra arrangements at work as I work Monday through Friday and spend more money to accommodate your lack of personnel. Complete disaster. Caliber collision surpassed the level of experience compared to this. I had to come home and clean my own car for the next work day to not dirty my white coat. Extremely disappointed made me drive all the way over there for incomplete work and dirty car. Very mad to say the least.

Car was released to me with outstanding issues. Some were fixed but the remaining AC/Heater blower issue was not and they say that cannot repair. Blower was working fine prior to repairs.

Richard is awesome! He is actually concerned about getting your vehicle up to par. Doesn't do the sales pitch or acts like a "drone to customers", he legit is awesome. Although my vehicle couldn't be repaired he was still awesome in giving me information. Definitely will use him in the future!

Zero stars is not an option nor is a negative rating.Absolutely disappointing experience. The lack of service was apparent from the moment I walked in, with upper management seemingly disinterested in helping customers. But what really bothered me was their complete lack of honesty and integrity. They will promise something and then say it never was agreed upon, trying to milk you for every dollar. When I confronted them about it, they became defensive and unwilling to admit their mistakes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a trustworthy and reliable business entity.Edited: added info to the response left from business owner. Not to be rude but it is a joke for you to share this information with management both Robert ( manager of the location) and Hayden ( regional manager) do not care. Called them both multiple times, emailed multiple times to the point it felt like harassment. I would love for you to reach out to me directly so I could share the email chains that were not responded to by them and call logs.Service: Body & Trim

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Piss poor communication, matched with an over three week delay. A delay of which I only learned of when I went to collect the car on the date of supposed repair. I STILL have not collected my vehicle, and are continuously told We ll get to it this week . Stay far away from this place, and take it to Caliber Collision down the street.Service: Body & Trim

Unethical business! Save yourself and go elsewhere if possible. Everything they have told me as far as updates has been very misleading. They are dishonest when telling me what exactly is being done, has been done, and left to be done. My estimated date to receive my vehicle back has changed for 2 months ... now going on 3. Do yourself a favor if you bring your vehicle here and call them regularly to get updates and make sure you receive a call back. I'd also advise you to pop in their business randomly to check on your vehicle. Make sure to take pics before and after as sometimes they try to get away with NEW damage stating it was already there. Overall, terrible service and horrible outcomes in how our vehicle is being "repaired!"

Update* My vehicle was in the shop a total of 7 months with parts installed broken, parts ordered that were never even installed. It was a nightmare.My vehicle has been in the bodyshop for over 3 months and I have only received 2 call backs from Bo! In the middle of December the vehicle was supposed to be ready, then every week after that it was supposed to be ready but there is always an excuse as to why it wasn't ready. Here we are 7 weeks after the first time it was supposed to be ready and still no vehicle. I was told all parts were delivered then they had to take it to another shop because they didn't have a mechanic and then they had to magically order more parts because of someone's incompetence then those parts were on backorder, now for some reason, my battery is magically smoking so they have to wait for a new one. It's one thing after another and theywill never keep you updated on what is going on. On top of that they rented us a car because it was taking so long for repair when it came time to give the rental car back we were promised the rental would be extended and it never was so we gave it back instead of paying out of pocket and we still dont have our vehicle back. If you want horrible service bring your vehicle here!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE !!!! First of all it took them three different attempts to get my car right. Each time calling me and telling me that everything was perfect and the car was ready to be picked up, when I m reality the work just kept getting worse. They finally put me in a rental that they were covering since they had messed up. Now they are saying they will not cover the rental even though they still had my car !!! I now have Enterpise charging me because they have declined to pay. And good luck getting them to do anything about it or even calling you back !!! They will give you the run around for months. Please save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to.Service: Body & Trim

There should be an option to give ZERO stars!!!I hit a nasty pothole and damaged a custom wheel, blew out my tire, and had some minor fender damage. My insurance company suggested these guys, and towed my truck to them. After it took a week of calls, they finally returned my call informing what I had already told them.. My wheel had been discontinued. I gave them a copy of the quote for replacement wheels, so they could complete the estimate for the insurance company. I informed them I had already paid for the wheels and I would take care of the wheels, tire and installation, just repair the fender. Which to 2 weeks longer than promised.They in turn, collected the money from the insurance claim. My agent informed my these guys owe me a refund in excess of $2200. I have been getting the run around ( for months) to the point I'm having to consider civil action. My claim was in January.Service: Body & Trim

LIARS!!! Before you read my review just know that other people have mentioned they park cars in the street, to which they said that wasn t true. Well I can tell you it is because they parked my truck in the street after it was repaired and SOMEONE HIT IT!!!! It doesn t take a genius to see their operation, cars jammed together with no space in the lot. More work than they can handle. And most importantly shoddy work with poor customer service to boot! 2021 ram 2500. They didn t have enough parking in the lot so after the repair they parked it in the street and someone hit it. It s been 8 months. They refuse to answer my calls or address the situation. Insurance company told me I was on my own. I dealt with Darrel, not sure if he s still there because no one can get a hold of him.Repair wise- they got over spray everywhere, they broke my license plate light and didn t fix it, they scratched my bumper to the primer, they failed to hook up my trailer connector properly or damaged it because it doesn t work now, they left paint lines on the door, they did something to my fuel pump because it vibrates like crazy now, my mirror is totally broken off and I can t get a new one because of parts shortage.In conclusion, this place screwed me and couldn t care less about it. 1 starI am in the process of filing a civil suit. I was in an accident in early April. My vehicle was sent here through my insurance. My vehicle was hit on the back rear wheel. My car was there for two months. They did have to wait on some parts and send my vehicle to another shop for the alignment work. Those delays, I completely understand. I felt really frustrated with the limited communication. Especially with the first individual who was overseeing my vehicle. He was fired for reasons unknown to me, and I suspect they have something to do with one of the reasons why I'm now angry. When I picked up my vehicle, I thought they did an amazing job. The 2nd person who was assigned was much better at communicating with me and keeping me updated.Over the span of 2 months my car was there, I called 1-4 times each week to check in. I was frequently given updates that sounded unrelated to what work my vehicle actually needed, including work on the front bumper. I don't drive at night often, which is why it took me this long to figure out that something was wrong. I have a front headlight that is missing, including all the wiring and key parts. . I learned this officially today when I took my vehicle Iin for an oil change at a Firestone. I will not be able to pass an inspection until I can get this issue resolved. Why is an entire headlight, wiring and all missing when it was perfectly fine before my car came to thatt Classic Collision in Schertz???

I'm extremely pleased with the body work that this business has done on my car. I have an older model car that needed damage repairs and I was very concerned about it being a mismatched on the paint but they made my car look absolutely outstanding! I greatly appreciate all of you at AMM Collision and I will be returning for future work if needed. AMM Collision took excellent care of me and my vehicle after I was in an accident. The estimator managing the repairs on my vehicle, Daryl Penaloza, took fantastic care of my vehicle and made sure that I was kept up to date with the repairs throughout the entire process. He is an excellent employee and asset to AMM Collision in Schertz and I am so grateful for the time, attention, and effort he put into making sure my car looked just as it did before while also providing excellent customer service. FIND ANOTHER SHOP. AMM in Schertz is Over-booked and under staffed!!!They have so many cars waiting on repairs that they are parking their client's cars on the street!! I'm sure their customers don't know this. They tell you two weeks and end up taking 6 weeks because they are taking too many jobs. It's like they know they can't handle the number of cars, but still take them in. A terrible way to do business.I was at a recent city council meeting and many citizens stood up to complain about them parking on the main street as well as side streets. Not a good way to be part of a community. A police officer reported that there were at least two incidents of cars being sideswiped by vehicles driving along the street.When my car is in the body shop, I expect it to be off the road, behind a fence and secured both day and night. I certainly wouldn't want it sitting on a busy road waiting to be sideswiped.

I paid my deductible for a service that I have yet to receive. I have missed several days of work. My car must've just been sitting in the rain for my headliner to look the way it does and then to have my car towed back to me filthy...I'm furious and disappointed. I have worked hard through this pandemic as a nurse and the lack of customer service and care provided is ridiculous. I have never felt so disrespected by people who are supposed to be professionals. I had an accident Dec.10.2021 I had to go through the other person insurance. PROGRESSIVE. Bad experience what so ever not gonna lie.It took them over a month to get my car in a body shop. JAN 17 2022 AMM Collision Come to pick up my car. A job that was supposed to take 3 weeks or so have turn into two months. After the first month I keep calling and asking about my car to Cristian Nice Guy but very unprofessional and doesn t communicates and doesn t tells the true about what s really going on. One day it was just missing the front hood the other it was the water pump. Always something and missing parts or we can t find the piece, bad weather. Fast forward to march 22 2022. Like I said two months since my car is in the shop. I called and once again ask what the process of my car? Good news your car is ready to be pick up tomorrow by noon. Great I go March 23.2022 pick up my car still. Drive by the main road my car is park on the side of the road with a bunch of other cars I didn t mind. They bring my car to the front supposedly ready. Missing the front Ford logo. My windshield is broken.( witch was not like that because I have pictures of my car before they took my car. And scratches on the back bumper that I also have pictures off) anyways I did told cristian and he said he was gonna call back to progressive and submit an order. Anyways I left my rental and left in my car. My car was acting different but I assumed since it s hasn t been moved or drive in so long. Long story short next day March 24.2022 i when to drop of my kids at school and my car stop driving . My car was doing the same exact thing It was doing before and witch it was supposedly at the shop for one week while they had my car for two months . I called progressive and talk to them and made a complain got another rental car but in a waitlist because they don t have nothing available at the moment. now guess who miss appointments and a job Interview bcuz is carless. I got my car back that wasn t even ready and now is back in the shop with them to figure out what they miss in the two months they had my car .I don t usually do reviews but if you have an option to go somewhere else please do so.

The amount of mistakes this company made during an engine replacement is quite astonishing. I really wish mechanics could learn to take their job seriously. It took 3 months to install the engine while breaking all the wiring clips and hood washer fluid nozzles. The engine mounts were destroyed. AC stopped working afterwards. Many other mistakes were made and to top it all off I have 4 reoccurring engine codes now. This is what $5000 of work looks like here. I can't go without my car for months and itbe treated like that. I still need to take it back for warranty on the codes, but I'm a little scared at this point.Edit: the owner response proves they won't own up to their mistakes. They broke the mounts and hood nozzles during the repair. Proof is that my windshield and hood have treatment marks from the spray and the car had a replacement of all mounts a few months prior, I found the receipt to make sure. I fixed the issues the company left on my own. The main issue for sensors failing was a connection that was forgotten about.

Our insurance recommended them for our hail damage claims for our three vehicles so AMM hired Roadrunner Towing to pick them up. Roadrunner picked up two of my trucks at the same time on one truck and dragged one of them for at least 13 miles tearing up the tread on one of my tires. I called Henry the owner to explain what I found out and asked for them to look for damage so I cam have tow company pay for their negligence. AMM told my insurance and myself there wasn't any damage except a flat spot on one tire for sitting too long. It was obvious it's flat from being dragged and not sitting, especially when the tire was manufactured just over a year ago. I told then I had video surveillance of the incident as well as pictures of the tires and a report from discount tire describing that the tire was obviously been dragged. It's been 3 weeks and Henry won't answer my calls and won't take responsibility for hiring Roadrunner Towing. We had to buy another tire out of our own pockets on top of paying for repairs to the vehicle. They lack integrity, don't care for other peoples property, and don't return any phone calls when I tried to get the matter resolved. To make a long (and great) story short, AMM has had to do insurance work on many of my vehicles over the years and they are my preferred collision experts. They earned my trust from quality repairs, professionalism and always being on time in every insurance claim I have ever had. So when it came time to get some issues resolved outside an insurance claim they not only did exactly what they had done on my insurance claims, they upped their game and came in at a price almost 50% lower. It wasn't an overcharge or mistakes, but just good old fashioned treating a customer like they are family. They are and always will be OUR FIRST CALL!Thanks to the entire team and they don't get better than Daryl!AWESOME JOB FOLKS!Thank you

I dropped my truck off on a Monday and they said it should be ready on Friday. I was a little skeptical about that because their lot was packed with vehicles. Not only did they deliver on their promise, the work they did was excellent, and they even washed and vacuumed my truck. It has never looked better. Great customer service!!! Out of all the Geico Auto Repair Express Shops listed AMM Collision is the best choice. They listened to me and made sure I was happy with my repair. They really care about their customers. I had read their reviews and chose them for that reason. I am the kind of customer that trusts no one!! They made me feel at ease. The best part is that I got my rental there as well. They took two days to repair my car. They gave it back to me washed and detailed on the inside. Impecable!! Thank you AMM Collision for great work. I really appreciate your quality work and great customer service. From Ms Maria in the front to the manager everyone was so nice and made this a great experience. Highly recommended!!! Trust me I only give credit when it's deserved.
