absolutely horrible experience i m a few months late on leaving this review, but 9/20 i went to get a simple oil change, 9/23 i was broke down on the highway in austin. all of the oil had leaked out, sprayed all over the back of my car. i had to wait over an hour for AAA to come pick up my car and when they loaded it up there was a huge pile of oil on the ground and on the tow truck. we dropped it off at the mechanic next door to this place. after he lowered it down he looked under the car to see if he could see the issue and not even 10 seconds later he pulled out the drain plug and said that it wasn t even twisted in how do you have one job and still manage to f up this badly??? i reached out to the manager via email to get a refund because apparently they can t do it in store, we email a few times and he said he will have a check sent to me. two weeks later i don t have anything so i reach back out and he never responds.

The team at this establishment is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! They have gained a lifetime customer in my family and me due to their exceptional service. Unlike other places, they always greet us with a smile and are never rude. Moreover, they discovered that my previous oil change wasn't done properly (not done there, it was the take 5) and ensured my vehicle was well taken care of. Thank you, gentlemen, for your expertise and outstanding care!

This is my go to place since leaving home. Always stop in before I go back home for a major holiday. They always usually have some kind of great deal for customers going on too. I went today and John was super kind and very knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend

Great Service. They had to order my filter and still finished fast! They even carried the European oil I needed. The oil change and all new wipers and it was still half the price of the dealership. I will definitely return!!

They got me in quickly and were transparent about the price before they did anything to my car! They didn t try to sell me anything I didn t need, so it s one of the only instances where didn t get nervous and call my dad. I ll definitely be back!!

I came up there on a Saturday afternoon after work and there were two gentlemen who did state inspection. They were fast and friendly and i was out in 15 minutes. I appreciate their help ! I will be coming back for my next inspection <3

Pretty stereotypical independent quick lube type place. They did an oil change reasonably quickly but filled my washer fluid with some mystery liquid from an old coolant bottle and failed to put my air filter cover back on correctly. It was relatively cheap, especially if you use the coupon on their website, but I think in the future I will pay a little more for better work in a nicer environment.Edit to note that they replied to my original review to ask me to contact them so they could "make it right" and I have gotten no reply after doing so.

Outstanding is what Texas Express Lube & Auto stands for.I've had my oil changed in numerous places and they did their job, but I never felt that they deserved a recommendation. Nothing bad about them, not with most, just nothing to brag about.Texas Express Lube & Auto, without a doubt, deserves a recommendation. Hell, they deserve a badge.These guys know what they're doing and they check everything out, and when they're done they tell you what is good, bad, or could need a replacement in the future so you know what's going on with your car.I can describe Texas Express Lube & Auto in a few words: Excellent, Stupendous, and Sterling. Did I forget to say Outstanding!

They have a good reputation, but unfortunately my girlfriend's experience didn't live up to the hype. Maybe they had a bad day, or maybe it's because she's a woman. Who knows. What I do know is that she asked how much the oil change would cost before the service, then was charged more at check out. They told her that her car took 5.1 quarts so they had to charge for 6. So, she asked to get her .9 quarts of oil and the Assistant Manager told her it went to "taxes". They also did NOT perform the 20-point inspection and fluid top-off that they claim they do....oh well, we'll find another place next time.

They all excelled in customer service and genuinely care about the safety of the driver. The service felt like it took no time even though I asked them to complete several task. I ll continue recommending them to friends and visiting when I need my oil changed. Thank you again for the great service.

I gave these guys a shot because they re local, they re good people but it takes time, 2 guys working on 2 cars. It cost me with full synthetic $107.00 with a small car, he didn t check the other fluids so I still had to do that. Maybe they someone called in, they looked worn but did try.

I used to go to this place when I lived in the area. The staff is exceptionally helpful. I typically went there for my oil changes and state inspections. On one occasion, they went out of their way to assist me in changing my headlight bulb. I truly appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile to help me out.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't have my air filter, they called and got me one in a jiffy. Everything took under 30mins...I will definitely be back.

Amazing staff, went above and beyond in every way. This is what I thought seconds before my unlatched hood flew up and destroyed my windshield, totaling my car and almost killing my wife and I. Don t go here if you value your property. Still haven t received any semblance of compensation for this incident.

I had such a great experience with this mechanic! They changed my headlight, did an oil change, and even managed to fit in an inspection all in under 30 minutes. Talk about efficient! Not only that, but they were super sweet, helpful, and considerate throughout the whole process. It's not always easy to find a mechanic who's not only skilled but also genuinely nice. I'll definitely be coming back for any future car needs. Highly recommend!Services: Electrical, Oil change

Russell is the new manager man I tell you things have really changed!!!! This guy has not only stepped up to the role but gave me such a great experience by showing how knowledgeable he is and how well he takes care of his customer im definitely coming here!! Derek was awesome he not only started on me 10 minutes before opening and was done shortly after 8 o clock but he also gave me a better deal than what was quoted to me on the phone. He was very nice and extremely helpful and was definitely genuinely concerned with the car and how everything is going with it. Hands down the best mechanic and service I ve had in a long time and beats going to the Chevy dealership, which is usually my go to . Definitely 10 out of 10 service and would recommend coming here and getting your oil changed or any service for that matter.Service: Oil change
