U-Haul review: Rudy and his wife are so kind. They're efficient and cheerful, explain everything you need to know about how to use the truck, and keep the inside of the cab and truck bed clean. I was transferred to them, and couldn't be happier with their service! Moving is stressful enough, they made the process simple.

I wanted to say that I loved making business with Rudy s Automobile for my U-Haul rental. They offer great customer service, beyond & yonder, and are very attentive to y alls needs when assisting.Big 5 Stars for me.Thank y all for everything.

Rudy was the Epitome of friendly, customer service. The lady at the front desk was just as kind and hospitable. We didn t expect much, as we were just picking up a uhaul real quick, but we were more than pleased with our experience. I will choose Rudy s automotive from here on out :) Big shout out to them!!!!

The owners at Rudy's Automotive are very professional, competent, friendly, and trustworthy pillars within the San Marcos business community. Their automotive services are high quality and of excellent value. Rudy is an automotive expert and offers great advice. I have utilized them several times for multiple types of repairs and tune-ups. Hear about these guys from DV Movers. Rudy's automotive was friendly quick and made sure the uhaul reservation went smoothly!! The U-Haul's were very clean, I highly recommend renting U-Haul's from Rudys! thx again!!

Our sons are in college at Texas State and needed to have the car looked at. We are in Houston. I read a few reviews and picked Rudy's to call. Rudy looked over the car, told us the car was not worth the repairs that were needed. We decided to donate the car to a charity. Rudy allowed us to leave the car on his property until it was picked up by the charity, Make-a-Wish Foundation.Very nice, honest, pleasant people. I HIGHLY recommend Rudy's Automotive

Love the people here ... I use U-Haul trailers frequently and their location is outstanding. I used to have to go all the way to New Braunfels to get a U-Haul trailer and the wait there was way too long. Here? I'm in and out in nothing flat. Prices are very good and the service that Rudy and his wife provides is very helpful and you cannot find friendlier people.

My family has been using Rudy for years. Over 300k miles on my dads Tahoe and about the same on my previous truck, he always made sure they ran tip top and at a honest price. Great shop.

Man this place is awesome friendly people . I rented a trailer and the process was nice and easy.....they hooked my trailer while I was doing paperwork and when I was done the trailer was ready to go ..... amazing service

I was going through San Marcos on a business trip when my car's electrical system locked up. My car would not go faster than 40 mph. I googled automotive places close to me and Rudy's came up. It was after 5 pm so I had little hope anyone would have time to look at my car. Went to Rudy's and told them my issue. Rudy went and looked at my car right away. He was able to clear up the problem with my car quickly. He charged me nothing for this. I was beyond appreciative! Its hard to find people like him these days! Highly recommend Rudy's!

BEST PLACE TO GO AS A COLLEGE STUDENT. Rudy does a great job and he is a very caring man. His work is definitely of high quality. I am really satisfied with how my car works now as compared to how it was. Thank you, Rudy!!

Rudy was great he told me what I needed to replace now and what could wait. Gave me a price that fixed not just one issue but another. I know how to work on cars and it was nice not to be down talked to regarding my car. I'm a customer for life, I'm so glad I found this place.

The BEST and Only place to take your vehicle. My husband and I will only let Rudy work on our vehicles. We live in Austin and drive to San Marcos to have them worked on. Rudy and his wife are so very helpful and nice. If you need the job done right take it to Rudy's Automotive

This place has great customer service and the prices are much better than those in downtown San Marcos. A diagnosis of the check engine light revealed a problem with the air-fuel ratio in the engine. Rudy discovered a vacuum leak and had my car fixed in a few hours. The total was $94, less than the cost of a diagnostic at some places downtown.

Had some car trouble and made calls around town... rudys turned out to be good price. Took it in and Rudy and his wife were real good people and he got my car running normal again! Highly recommend this place for your car needs!!!

Don t know if Rudy was trying to throw out such a big price to get me to take the bait, but Rudy never even looked at my car before trying to tell me what needed to be repaired and slap me with upwards of 600$. I asked for a simple diagnosis and which I think was priced at 30$(On the wall behind the counter). In the end, he came up with an excuse to not do anything to my car and get me out, I guess.

NOT A REAL automotive business.Great way to advertise on Google my friends.They don't even do auto repair any more. U haul only.Rude owner. Seems obvious why he transitioned out.

Its not very often one can find a really good mechanic like Rudy's, and have really great satisfaction of having your car's many problems fix correctly - every time - and not get taken with a padded bill.- but, if you get the idea at Rudy's Automotive -where, when he says he will check it out and let you know what the fix is - and given the go-ahead, even without asking the price, it will always be fair - and the results better than expected. That's the place you want to go to - and I have for 12 years!With all the mechanics around I know, few have the hidden quality of a real car repair expert - in my opinion, the folks at Rudy's Automotive show. They now are located on the s IH35 access going toward wonder world drive. You won't be disappointed and you won't be surprised when having your car repair work done at Rudy's - that's really true! Hi Rudy,I esperanza you & your family are doing okay. (inside joke)We have taken our old 6-cy '65 Mustang to Rudy every since we moved to San Marcos in 1999. The old car still runs great. Wonderful experience. I was given the run around at another place returning my uhaul, and I drove past theirs. The place was closed but the owners saw be driving around and followed me in, opened up again and walked me through the check-in. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Rated a uhaul here. Perfect service, and the staff said they are one of the few ones that both disinfect and fog the vehicles after use. Flawless experience.

I had called this company Friday night about fixing my Honda Odyssey.They had told me that they wouldn't be able to get to it until Monday and to be there early in the morning, well it's Monday and I get there by 830 and I was told they wouldn't be able to do it today!.. and it didn't even seem like he was doing anything but sitting in his office doing who knows what. Well I do not recommend this place for your mechanical needs.
