In San Marcos Texas been going here for years he's an awesome guy John known him for a long time him and his son run the shop and they an excellent job whether it's getting my car inspected or getting my car fixed one or the other it doesn't matter they've always done me right

I met John and he has a great attitude as well as very knowledgeable of vehicles, I had my truck inspection done and he didn't waste any time. A customer picked up their car while I was there and they were satisfied with the work done as well as the price, I will continue to go here for any work in need on my truck. I have a revised review, I have taken my truck there twice now and a 4 hour job took 2 days and a 3 to 4 hour job took 4 days, I only have 1 vehicle so I need it back the same day. The second time he didn't check 2 c if the part was the correct 1 and installed it anyway and he still wants to charge me 2 put on the correct part. I can only say your rolling the dice if u go there.

Fair, honest, and friendly service! I went to John's Automotive with my check engine light on. He identified the problem within just a few minutes of having the hood up and fixed the problem in under an hour. My check engine light is off and has not come back on, and he was extremely reasonable on price. Make sure you have cash though so you won't have to walk to the nearest ATM; if you forget it's not a big deal, there's an ATM in the gas station just down the road and the service makes the walk worth it. I will definitely go back if I ever have another problem!

Went there for an inspection and they were great ! Very quick and got me done and back on the road quick...! Fast,friendly , knowledgeable couldn't ask for more!!!

John himself is what makes this auto shop so good. On top of being very friendly, he really goes out of his way to make sure your car is taken care of and doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Overall poor attitude had OPEN SIGN on but when I went in he had a bad attitude when I asked him if he could look at my vehicle he then told me was not not working today. So I asked when he said he would be back in Monday so asked if he could give me a quote with an attitude here told me $50000 and that he wouldn't be able to look at it for a month

Were not open when they advertised and when i called they sent me straight to voicemail. Better to go by spankys took like 10 minutes and they were super nice and helpful.
