Took less than an hour to get my oil changed, state inspection and alignment plus rotation done. Sort of made an appointment over the phone, but technically a 'walk in' and was easy enough! Only thing to add was maybe have staff mention additional 'regular maintenance' things to add on, as forgot myself (technically my own fault so not removing stars!), to request for certain extra options, like cabin air filter replacement. I know most people don't enjoy the whole "they're just trying to sell me things" but sometimes it's actually useful and good reminders for people who don't keep up with it all the time!! :) Thanks for the good and quick service y'all!

Attempted contacting this location by phone and a call center picked up my call and only wanted to schedule an appointment - had no clue of location s work load and availability of drop off. Had to appear in person to ascertain status. As usual, with this location, they had me in and out in nothing flat - with normal preventative maintenance tasks accomplished.

There was a nail and Luis Garcias guys said that it's ok and leave the nail in even though it was going flat everyday. Why would u leave a nail in the tire? Need better training.

I took my car into a Firestone in south Austin in December to get brake pads replaced. They put the pads on with no hardware. No hardware. Went to a different location to get it fixed after my car was grinding whenever I braked. Def looking to get my serviced anywhere else now.

The staff at San Marcos always takes the best care of me and treats me like a valuable customer, especially John Paul. Jacob was really great as well. I completely trust Firestone and I am never sold anything that I do. not need. Firestone is my Go-To for my car and this location is superb.

My tire has a razor blade stuck in it. Daniel and JP went over above the call of duty to help me get back on the road safely. They were kind, compassionate, and very professional. I will return for other car needs.

Very Upsetting Situation, I went in early in the morning for an oil change and the Tech forgot to put the lid back on, and Oil spilled everywhere. When I left, I went shopping and noticed a strong burning smell while I drove to different stores. I had to drive with the windows down because the fumes and smoke was too strong. It made me feel nauseous. At first, I thought the techs had spill a little oil which was the cause for the smell, But, When I got home I noticed my engine was smoking and there was an oil puddle on my driveway. I took the car back to the shop and had the techs wash out everything under the hood. The Tech (Daniel) said the smell will eventually go away. It still hasn't. I hope this mishap didn't mess up my engine or transmission because of Firestone's negligence. This should have never happened.

Avoid this establishment if possible. I went today to get 4 new tires. They gave me a total of $605. I asked what my total would be which I was fine with. As I was waiting there, one of the women working there was arguing with an angry customer over the phone. She was raising her voice pretty loud and told the customer she was not yelling, but clearly was, and was rolling her eyes. As I was about to leave, they tell me I need an alignment and they told me it would be over $100 extra which I was also fine with. When I was paying, my total was over $170 extra because the same woman did not give me a total with taxes included. As I got home, scratches and a dent on the hood were brought to my attention; i know for a fact they were not there before I went to the establishment. Of course the manager denied that they did anything to it. This will be my first and last time doing business with firestone.

This particular Firestone is fantastic, and the staff is exceptional especially the store manager, Daniel. Daniel and his employees have been helping me for years, and their customer service skills are unparalleled. I have not met someone more willing to go out of his way to help than Daniel. He is a wonderful manager, and I cannot say enough positive things about him and the store he runs. My praise is LONG overdue.

Terrible. Not empathetic, don t check their work. I came here to get my coolant and temperature gage fixed. it was supposed to be fixed at another Firestone. I asked them if Firestone worked on the same problem before in the last month. They said no - a lie! at the time, I didn t know because I m a 20 year old girl, that relies on my mom to help me with my car. Also I don t keep these car repairs in mind especially since my car has been requiring a lot of repairs. When I arrived to pick up my car, the engine light was still on??? I didn t say anything because it was time for an oil change, it was closing time and I just wanted my car back. A day later, my car started to yell at me again. Which is awfully inconvenient since I don t live in this area. I live 30 minutes away. I called to complain, the manager wouldn t take responsibility at all. JUST DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! they don t care!!

Please never take your car here. This Firestone is awful. They claimed i needed $3k of repairs that I did not need. They tried to up charge and take advantage of me not knowing much possibly bc I am a woman or college student. Please there are so many other better shops in the area go anywhere else. Save your time and money. If i could rate zero stars I definitely would!

Saturday the 2nd I noticed a air bubble in my tire. I called around 2pm to see if they could do a tire change. Jacob was the guy who I was talking on the phone to. He s not pleasant to talk to or deal with. Seemed annoyed by my phone call. I decided to make a 2pm appointment on Sunday the 3rd to replace my tire. I arrive , the very nice attentive lady at the front desk took my keys and I waited. She then comes in to explain that Jacob didn t bother to order my tire. I had a feeling after I hung up the phone with Jacob on Saturday the 2nd he might not of ordered the tire. My apologies for not remembering the lady who helped me today, but she was amazing at trying to figure out how to get me a tire on a Sunday which is the worst day for a employee not to have ordered a tire as most places don t have enough help to go get parts to bring back. Lucky the lady I delt with said they had a different tire that would fit my car and she discounted it to match the tire price Jacob was supposed to order. Thank you so much . You are great At customer service. Jacob on the other hand, might want to take a lesson from this lady.

I got there at 7:00am they said I would have to wait 3 hrs. to get my front end looked at. I will never go back. The Firestone in Lockhart, TX. are 100% better that the one in San Marcos, TX.

Waited 3 hours for my car to get an alignment Had appointment at 1pm I get to fire stone they left my passenger window open when they parked in the street Also didn t close the hood all the way my hood opened on the highway.

STAY AWAYI took my vehicle in to service my ac, I was told how long it would take and got a cost estimate. I was told it would be 5 hours, and $1800. I get a call 5 hours later to be told that the part they installed on my car was defective and they wanted me to leave my car at the shop, I had work so obviously wasn t able to. And thank god I couldn t because the final invoice was WELL OVER $700 MORE THAN THE ESTIMATE. I will never return to this location, or any Firestone for that matter. This company cannot be trusted.Service: Air conditioning

HORRIBLE PLACE. I would give them a zero start but unfortunately i have to put at least one. Took my car in to get my wheel barring replaced. had to end up taking it back after two days bc i was still have problems. they told me my rim was bent and that s why they had to replace the berring again. they actually ended up putting it in wrong . fast forward about 3 days, my car sounds like i m driving on a gravel road. I ended up taking it to a different firestone bc i figured they would mess my car up more. My axel ended up being broken due to the san mo location putting my wheel barring on wrong TWICE. i was driving on a broken axel . Took it back to a firestone in San antonio where i found out the san mo location replaced my axel with a manual axel for my automatic car. ended up having to replace the axel again. The SA location had to change my transmission as well due to the broken axel. The SA location also lied to me about what they did to my car. Now i am at my 6th time bringing my car in to an firestone and having them fix their mistakes. this has been a 5 month journey of firestone messing my car up more each time. if any thing avoid any firestone location.

This trip to Firestone in San Marcos was outstanding! My car had a bad shimmy when braking, check engine light was on, a/c not cold, noise from under the hood. It was Saturday and they told me it would be a couple of hours before they could even look at it because they were so busy (and they were!) I was told there was a good chance they could not complete it that day. Four hours later they called that my car was ready. Everything was fixed perfectly!The service person, Catherine, who helped me gave great customer service before, during, and after my repairs. The entire experience was amazing and most appreciated!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair

Terrible service. Was able to make an appt on Sunday morn for a tire rotation same day at 4pm. Upon arrival the worker told me since appt hadn t been confirmed by a worker they couldn t do the rotation. It s a simple rotation, a worker was avail! Not hurting for business I guess. Be forewarned-you won t get service if the appt you finalized online wasn t approved by a human.

Made an appointment only to come in and wait for 2.5 hours and cut my losses. Employees seemed too concerned with flirting and what they want for lunch rather than service people. Rarely leave bad reviews but one thing I can t stand is having my time wasted.

Had my vehicle towed here for my warranty and they told me it was my transmission acting up so I took it to where the warranty work was done and it s not my transmission at all it was my axle so either they charged me for a diagnostic that was not done or someone needs to find a different career because they don t know what they are doing I will be going for my money back as I had to get my car towed a second time because of their quote diagnostic test !!!!!!!!!

My daughter brought her vehicle here for an oil change. The service adviser recommended she get her valve cover gaskets replaced, a new battery, wipers, air filter, and fuel system cleaning. All for the liw pice of 1900 bucks. The valve cover was priced at 740 dollars. Obviously, I told her not to do anything but the oil change. When she drove home, 4 hour drive, her oil tank was empty. They didn't tighten the oil filter. The valve cover gaskets were replaced for 130 dollars with a local mechanic we trust. Be careful as they will try and take advantage of you. The manager was very apologetic but we will never go back here. Be careful if you do.

!!! RUINED MY CAR!!!I am new to San Marcos and for just a regular checkup I went there. They told me I had battery corrosion. So I requested for the service needed to fix the battery. They told me after the maintenance the battery is fine now. But just after two days my battery died. Also had some misconnections.'''' DON'T EVER GO TO THEM, THEY JUST COMPLETELY RUINED MY CAR''''

Tried selling entire strut assemblies when the mounts are making noise. The struts are less than two years old and have a lifetime warranty. Only the mounts need to be replaced. I feel like this is a lie. Disappointing service but Firestone is always a hit or miss.The noise also started right after they did an oil change.I would have paid them to replace the strut mounts but not paying them to do thousands in unneeded repairs.

Had to get a tire replaced on my husbands car .. only took it here because we knew we had a warranty on it. Having had experience with Discount Tire we were under the impression it would be completely covered - well false. Fair enough, not all places offer the same warranty. But they call my husband and give him a quote and he asks if it should be covered under warranty and they ask him if we purchased them there .. the tires say Firestone on them. So he confirms and stated just a couple months ago in fact. So I go to pick it up and am told my total which was more than I anticipated so I questioned it being under warranty and she starts explaining all this stuff I don t understand. Firestone has always been overpriced. Lesson learned, we ll be going to Discount Tire for all our tire needs in the future where they have decent warranties. Pretty sure they have lifetime warranties unless they ve changed it. I know earlier this year I had to get a tire replaced on my car and it was one they had fixed in the past and it was completely covered and I paid like $17 for a new warranty on the new tire.Service: Tires

After already spending an hour at the preferred tire merchant to no resolve due to administrative oversight the only other choice was Firestone. The vehicle being serviced is a rental thus under a contract with Firestone and the rental car merchant. After about 30 minutes, I was told that I am the 2nd vehicle in line and the approval was already given to handle the tire exchange and other tasks to get back on the road. As I was leaving to take advantage of the shopping venues in the immediate area, I noticed that a vehicle was coming out of one the bays. I assumed that meant that it should not be much longer. To my dismay and eventual frustration after returning multiple times during the proceeding 2 hours just to find out that the work has not begun. After completing my mirror shopping and getting my steps until New Years 2024,I remained at the tire merchant and after 30 minutes and a brief conversation with the clerk the rental was finally pulled into a bay. Another 30 minutes at least had gone by so I decided to walk down to the bay to see what could possibly be the delay taking a doughnut tire off and doing a warranty exchange for a damaged tire. Initially, I was thrown off because the doughnut tire was still on and another tire was taking off. I am sure there is a reason for this, but, after spending so much time it became apparent that the improper business model of taking care of paying customers first before a warranty exchange was being played. And not only that possible unethical business practices. I will never return to this Firestone again and if the rental merchant continues to use them I would be concerned about their ethics.

I made an appointment at 8 o clock in the morning. I was there by 7:30 in the morning. My truck was not pulled into the shop until 830 at that point I left to do shopping the gentleman told me 2 and half hour to 3 hours I came back at 1030 to find truck out of shopThe gentleman that was sitting front told me that my alignment was done but they just needed to check it so I sat down 20 minutes later I was informed they never did the alignment that I needed all new ball joints. I said OK cool then I asked them if they did the rotating balance they said yes come to find out they didn t do any of it. The paperwork says one of my Lugnuts is swollen and they couldn t get it off so plz tell how y all did rotation and balance then store manager calls my husband lied some more I will never be back again 77$ for lifetime of something they didn t even doService: Wheel alignment
