Discount Tire is THE place to go for tires and wheel mounting. The team who took care of mounting new tires and wheels on my Nissan GTR did an excellent job. They were friendly, and most importantly they took great care in the tire mounting process as to avoid damage to the Advan Wheels. I appreciate Connor and his attention to detail through the entire process. Connor was both cordial and professional, and is an asset to the company. A job well done.

Went to this location expecting the whole process to take way longer, but I was happily surprised when the service took just around 30 minutes (I was expecting an hour or more due to needing my tire replaced). I walked in and immediately received help from Shay, who was very professional, efficient, and wonderful at walking me though the process of what to expect. I will 100% be coming back to this location should anything happen to my tire(s) again!

The manager Jessie at this location is top notch. I had a tire giving me trouble losing 10 to 15 pounds of air daily, and after a couple visits no issue was found. I spoke with Jessie and explained the situation to him. He said to bring the car back up there and he would figure out the issue. Him and the techs were waiting for us the moment we pulled up. He personally inspected the tire thoroughly himself and found a super tiny hole in the tire. No nail or anything sticking in it, so it was complicated to find. Him and his techs got it repaired and had me out the door in about 15 to 20 minutes. I appreciate the great customer service and hospitality with a pain in the butt tiny hole in my tire. Thank you!

Thank you so much to discount tires for helping my son, he's a college student and new to doing things on his own. He had a tire that kept going low I sent him to discount tire and they fixed it quickly! I feel so much better knowing it's fix. You guys never disappoint! My son is 3 hours away from me so this was a huge deal to us!

They were amazing. They are incredibly busy, but they take time to explain everything, and they absolutely do not rush you in your decisions. The bathroom was clean, and the seats in the lobby were few compared to the sheer number of customers but surprisingly comfortable. Be prepared to have a wait most of the time. The wait is worth it for great prices, their return policy / warranty, and a company that cares about your safety. I have had no problems bringing my Service Dog here.

I've purchased many sets of tires from Discount for over 20 years. Bryce (sp?) and others at this store are always knowledgeable, friendly and honest. If an issues arises it's handled professionally, in this day and age of customer service it is greatly appreciated. Will buy from here again.

My last few tire air check visits( once a month) including Thurs, 15 Feb. 2024, pm; I have met the most respectful young men working the air check area! Their customer skills show patience(I am elderly!).They listen attentively while I am speaking.I am a very positve person, I can guarantee that if someone attempts to ruin my day with the first words out of their mouth are negative, rude, rushed, and short; I will walk away and not look back!Discount Tire has been my go to tire company for decades and I definitely want to continue being a local customer! Thank you

Mario helped me out today. Super friendly and professional and not a hint of annoyance even though I was really unsure about what I wanted and asked every question imaginable. Tires I originally had were in really bad shape. Everywhere else I checked couldn't do a walk-in, but I needed my tires replaced right away and they were able to do that for me. Now I can make it safely to Denton without having to worry.

Impossible to go here if you work full time. Have been trying to get new tires for months but they always have multiple hour waits. Literally impossible to get service here unless you just have nothing going on in your life for multiple days in a row

came in to get my flat tire replaced from the spare. still had a warranty so it was free. gave me a time estimate, walked around the shops and came back around 2 hours later. not only did the front desk guys ask what i needed promptly, the one who did my intake immediately recognized me and got my keys for me before i even saw him. usually tire shop employees are kind of patronizing but he treated me like i knew was going on and what i was talking about (i did) and got my intake quickly. only con is they're closed on weekends and i popped my tire friday night after they closed so i had to use my spare for a couple days.

We came in 30 mins before closing with a flat tire that needed repair immediately as we were traveling. Tanner not only took great care of us, we did it happily and expediently. The issue was a TPMS sensor was loose, allowing air to escape. They repaired and had use out the door in less than 30 mins. Well done!

These guys are amazing every time I come here. Today I got off of work at 5:30PM in New Braunfels only to realize my tires were low, but I live in San Marcos. I got to this Discount Tire at 5:54PM ashamed of the fact I was asking them for help when they were off in 5 minutes (That's not the kind of person I am). However, Anthony greeted me fondly and aired up my tires. Given it's the day before I drive 5 hours to my sister's house for Thanksgiving, this really put me at ease and made it one less thing I have to do tomorrow. Thank you Anthony

I just wanted to give a shout out to Manager Zach who assisted me last week. I was stuck when I had two nails in my tire so it had to be replaced. It s a little toasty under the temporary tent as they remodel, but service is well worth it. There are several restaurants within walking distance to get a break from heat. Thanks again for your help!

Have never had a bad experience here. Have had to have the same tire replaced twice within 6 months. I was blessed to have had the help from Tanner. He is always super nice, attentive, and explains everything really well. Also the new lobby looks great!

Very nice experience as the guy who will lie down to the bottom of the car and touch the inside of the tire for inspection. Very transparent price and professional. Will come back agian.

Andrew was phenomenal! I needed my tire patched and work M-F til 5:30p. I hauled butt to what must be the busiest location in the area, it was slammed with vehicles in line before me. My tire wouldn't have lasted overnight. Andrew made sure I was taken care of before they closed at 6pm. The team that worked on my tire at the VERY end of their obviously busy and long day all had fantastic attitudes. Thank you so very much!

Great customer service! I was on my way to deliver a wedding cake and had to pull in because my tire pressure was dropping fast. JB and Cody went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and on my way in no time at all. So impressed with my service at this location!

First, in New Braunfels, always go to the one on 46. I was in getting a rotation and balence, and there was a gentleman in trying to get a tire for his new Mercedes SUV, the sales person was explaining, in a very polite manner that they didn't have the tire for his vehicle and it would take two days to get it, he also explained that he had checked and the other stores didn't have it either. The man shouted right in his face, "how can I drive my MERCEDES at 55 MPH."The young man apologized and asked if he would like to have an appointment to come in that Friday and get the tire put on. Just going to leave it there for you folks to ponder, just FYI, they had plenty of tires for a Ford explorer, just saying

Just came back from rotation, balance, and had a nail in my tire. When I picked up, each wheel had scratches from the worker sloppily using the impact. Is this what we've come to expect from DT...if so I'd rather go elsewhere from now on. Granted DT mounted my new wheels without a single scratch when they were put on.Update: DT is taking care of it

I was helped by Darren for a flat tire. They repaired the tire, took of the spare and placed it back, and filled up the rest of my tires. Great customer service, and they finished the job quickly.

I really appreciate the professionalism and attitude of the people who work here. Jonathan helped me out with plugging a tire for a company vehicle. He was patient with me as we collected my company info and told me they could be flexible with my work schedule. Ended up needing to replace the tire completely. Bailey helped me out with the tire replacement and I enjoyed chatting with him. Ant and Pedro assisted me while picking up the tire and I appreciated their help as well! This location gets absolutely slammed. As a result of that the staff is constantly talking with customers and sometimes the customers are less than kind. Every single employee I've interacted with or seen interacting with other customers maintains courteous professionalism and most have a great sense of humor despite being slammed! I will continue to bring my own vehicles here and I'm thankful this is the location my company uses for service. Top notch guys here!

Everyone was attentive, but the lack of communication and the errors in the communication with me made this experience terrible.I came in with two tires going flat over a few weeks, both back tires. They look at them and inform me there are two holes in the back right tire. They say they are too close together to repair, they will replace it under. Ok great. They didn t mention anything was wrong with back left. I brought it up again bc it keeps losing air but they didn t look at it again or maybe even in the first place. With no communication they replaced my tire with a different brand after I waited two hours. I wanted the same brand of tire I originally paid for here, so the guy told me they had to order it as they were out. Ok it goes back in and now they out a donut on it. Another 20 minutes . Then he tells me they will order two replacement tires to replace the back two. I figured ok they found something wrong with the other back tire so I m getting them both replaced. Great.Next week I come back, they replace both the tires and then as I m walking out the door after they handed me the keys already he asks did you pay No no one has mentioned anything about it costing money. $299 apparently. He says they can only cover one tire under warranty. News to me, as I m walking out the door with keys in hand going back to work late from lunch. So I have words with him for 5 mins and he says so you just want the original back on? . Well yea I do bc it only has like 12,000 miles on it.So now I m here waiting again. I figure something isn t right bc my back left tire was also losing air something isn t right here. I ask him did you all even check my back left tire bc it s been losing air too and if you aren t replacing it it makes me nervous. He goes oh wel actually they just saw a nail in it just now so they are going to patch it so what another hour after I ve been waiting two and I m late to work? Absolutely terrible communication and service for these visits.UPDATE: I was just handed the keys and they have the wrong tire on there again.Different brand, not the tire we ordered. I m 45 minutes late to work now. He wants the keys again to take it off and change it yet again. I tell him I don t have time I have to go. He says he can t let me leave without paying for the tire. Starts giving me attitude. I tell him their going to have to deal with it bc I have to leave at this point.Absolutely terrible service

Had a fantastic experience today with sales associate J Tanner. I was looking for a set of 4 truck tires for a reasonable price. He made great recommendations on tires within my budget and was very efficient.Clearly he knows tires very well.And when I picked up the truck he impressed me even more!! Discount tire had replaced my two piece problematic factory Ford lug nuts, due to lots of problems with that OEM Ford 2 PIECE lug nut. I would never have known that these lug nuts eventually cause problems.But he knew.Then I googled it and saw how right he was to use the one piece superior lug nuts. The charge was very reasonable.This Discount Tire is the BEST tire shop in town.
