Does not really offer free estimates, only provided estimates if you drop off and let them keep it, trying trying to force you do repairs with them and don't get a 2nd opinion.

I had an insurance claim against geico due to getting rear-ended in the whataburger drive through. I, fortunately took a picture of the damage and had the person who hit me text me his insurance info (critically important for evidence). Once geico approved, I took the car to one of their recommended repair shops. They were terrific! I was able to get a rental from geico. The car repair wasn't right when I went to pick up 5 days later. This wasn't the shop's fault. Geico only approved the cheap knockoff bumper instead of the oem one. The difference in bumper price was about 80.00. The part needed to fix the problem was 85.00! In the words of the shop, geico is cheap when it comes to using the best parts. To geico's credit, they approved the extra part and an extra day for the rental car. It would have been cheaper overall to get the oem part in the first place! Anyway, the shop was great, service was awesome and the final repair was showroom quality! I would have no problem taking my cars to them but hopefully will never have to again!!

I would not recommend this shop to anybody I took my truck in after having somebody hit me when I got the truck back there was runs in the paint dirt under the paint and just a very poor job in general I was not upset at the time I went back gave the manager an opportunity to correct the situation the manager tried to say all that was there before and was not interested at all and was visibly upset when I asked him to fix it I have an appointment for the 25th but I'm changing my mind I'm not going to give them another chance to work on my vehicle please go somewhere else where they can at least fix their mistakes and not give you a hard time about it

I was in an accident and they couldn t fix my car, but they were honest and real about the extensive damage that was done to it. Great place.

I brought my Ford Explorer here after the hail damage. The manager was hesitant to work with me because I have Tesla insurance. He said he would give it a try and did an estimate on my car. When my insurance tried to contact the body shop to begin the repair process, no one would respond for over a month. I also emailed the manager, Zach, trying to follow up and got no response. They definitely discriminate about what insurance they want to work with. Wish I would have read the reviews that said similarly. Total waste of time.

This place was great! Bianca definitely goes above and beyond! I had a concern about my vehicle after it was done being repaired and she got it cleared up for me! I have a busy schedule running a company in town and she worked with me! Overall this place was very efficient and the repairs were done in a timely manner! Thank you classic collision!

A collision body shop is not a place you really ever want to be a repeat customer for, but here we are. Because GEICO was being dumb about extending my rental, the folks here at Classic Collision did a rush job to finish my car up today so GEICO could calm its various parts. While it was here, I d asked for a side job on my own dime but with the rush job on the main repair, they hadn t had a chance to get to by the time the office was closed.Here I sit in their comfortably cool main office area to tell you that the goop they needed for the side job arrived 20 minutes ago and folks are staying late to get it done without my asking them to.You CAN NOT ask for better service than what you receive at Classic Collision in San Marcos. Their front desk and service staff are always phenomenal and the work on my car is guaranteed. As long as they stay in business, they will always be who I come to when accidents happen.Kudos for being epic, y all. You rock.

Our daughter's vehicle was hit and our insurance recommended this location. After looking at the reviews I agreed. Taylor helped us get her vehicle there right away and then thoroughly made sure her vehicle was back in the shape it was supposed to be. Taylor was great with communication through each step. I would highly recommend this company, especially if you have Taylor as the assessor.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Superb company, took care of all my needs! Chase took care of my collision repair needs, kept me informed, and got the job done when he said he would. Highly recommended for your collision repair needs. They did a great job on my 2014 Ram Pickup and returned it to me better than when I originally bought it! THESE ARE SOME DAMN GOOD PEOPLE.I have used AMM for hail repair and when my car got in an accident. The accident was not my fault and AMM mechanic Chase made SURE that I did not pay for my rental car when insurance tried. Whenever there was a part that needed attention after the repair, no one hesitated to make sure I was taken care of. When you step into their office, you can see how busy these people are and they still prioritize you. The women at the front desk are kind, approachable, and always do their best to help whoever is in front of them. Could not be more pleased with their service. The ice storm that Texas experienced recently left my car damaged as it likely did many others. I had called a glass repair company who contracts with Classic collision in San Marcos - the glass company spoke directly to their manager to ensure I could drop off my car to have the body work and glass repaired at the same time. When I arrived the following morning the very kind front desk staff said their manager -Zack- had not told them about my appointment and they were not expecting me. I confirmed with the glass gentleman who said he had spoken directly with their manager- Zack-Well then I had the pleasure of meeting Zack who came out guns a blazing saying that he would not honor the appointment and that he is booked until June. This was after he did admit to discussing my case with the glass people. He then went above tube and asked me if I understood the concept of appointments and if I in my line of business allowed walk ins.It was a horrible experience- although the front staff was friendly- Zack was rude, condescending, dishonest. Unfortunately I would not recommend this company to anyone. I took my care to Service King- Jesse - the manager made the transaction smooth and easy.Service: Body & Trim

I will not take any of my cars anywhere else! The car looked just like new you couldn t tell it was ever hit. This is the second time in a year I ve needed body work due to flying objects on the highway. I m about to take my daughters car for body work and I ve recommended AMM and Clint to everyone of my friends! Clint communicated everything in a timely manner. The service was outstanding. It was completed before I expected it. The knowledge, professional attitude and customer service is second to none!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Kyle was great in handling the basics and got the ball rolling being professional, courteous and explaining the process along the way. Taylor was my agent who I experienced awful communication with. He left town and did not put anyone in charge while he was gone. They painted the car incorrectly the first time (10 days in shop) and then he refused to redo it a second time. I suppose it's in keeping with the times, but, Classic would not be my first choice.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I was very pleased with the quality of work and service provided at AMM Collision. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, as well as Cliff who handled the repairs to my vehicle. My vehicle had a decent amount of damage to the front end, but repairs were completed within a week and it looks great! I wouldn't hesitate to bring my vehicle here again if I have the misfortune to need repairs.

Best car repair place I've ever been to. Small damage to front of car (Insurance Claim w/ deductible). Had to wait 2 weeks to get in, but was worth it. They explained the insurance process very well. Had my vehicle repaired at this location and the work done was nice. My reason for two stars is the poor customer service. I never received any updates about my vehicle even when it was past the estimated completion date. To get an update I had to call the shop myself. Also when my vehicle was completed I was missing some clips and fasteners on some body trim. That they assured me would have shipped to shop in a couple of days and they would call me when it arrived. Never received any call and when I called them back they didn t know what I was talking about. Also the hood they placed on my vehicle is missing the Jeep emblem. Although the work was good my vehicle wasn t completed 100% and customer service is poor. I wouldn t recommend to a friend or return.Services: Painting, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance

Nicole and Clint were outstanding!!! Nicole did everything to get things organized for the repair, working with the insurance company and trying to help me with the car rental company. Clint went above and beyond to get my repairs done quickly and completely. My vehicle looked great when they were finished! This is definitely the place to go for your repairs!!!

Took my car here for hail damage repair. 5k in damages, every panel had at least one dent. New hood and trunk, had to do paint. Car looked better than when I got it. Also when I bought the car it had some bad repair work done previously, the shop went above and beyond, they corrected the paint in that area. It looks brand new. I was blown away by what they did for me. Thank you very much! Zach kept me in the loop as well!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My taillight shorted out in a front end collision and they told my insurance company that it was unrelated to the crash and that my model of car is prone to having taillight shorts so the insurance would not pay for the repair. They also screwed up my gascap cover release, and the manual release, so after picking up my car, when I ran low on fuel, I couldn't fill it! Glad I wasn't out of town. They fixed the release, but couldn't tell me how, and the manual release is still detached. They only get 2 stars because the work they did do was fine and the rep I worked with was courteous.

I absolutely recommend this place and I will use it over and over again! The staff is amazing and Taylor is one of a kind! They fixed my car efficiently and always kept great communication with me on what stage my car was in! When I got my car back it looked better than brand new! Absolutely fantastic service! Emily and Nicole were super helpful in the front and did everything the can to work with me. I brought my truck in on a Thursday for hail damage repair and it was finished by Monday. The truck looks brand new. Dustin, the manager, worked with me on my deductible and saved me a fortune! Can t stress enough how happy I am with their service.

AMM Collision Center San MarcosWe took our 2010 Toyota Tundra to the shop in February of this year. We have been working with their estimator Clint Craven. The initial drop off process was easy enough. The only reason we didn t give a 1 star rating is because the body and paint work were completed with no issues. The problems we had with the shop were all because of the back glass replacement. There was no damage to the back glass on our truck when we took it in, but during the repairs they accidentally broke it. They then replaced our Toyota OEM back glass with an aftermarket glass, and that is where all the problems began. Our back glass was limo tinted and they completely missed that. When they told us our truck was ready, we then asked about the tint on the back window and they acted like no additional tint was needed. After continued requests from us, they checked again and agreed that the replacement glass was not limo tint like we had, and they finally had someone tint the glass.The day we picked up our truck, we then noticed that something seemed wrong with how the back glass was installed and brought it back to the shop so Clint could review it. He told us it was installed fine and nothing could be done. Just yesterday we had a very heavy rain storm and the back window began to leak. A lot of water got in and soaked the upholstery. We took the truck back to the shop to have them fix the window, and then dry and clean the upholstery. They dropped our truck off to us later that afternoon with the window supposedly fixed and the interior dry. The upholstery was still soaking wet. It was literally still dripping. They did nothing to dry the interior. When we mentioned this to them, they said to bring it back the next day so they could dry it more. We decided it would be best to dry it ourselves at home since they already had a chance to dry it and didn t do it.

AMM is amazing!!! Go here! Front desk was helpful in quickly getting me someone to talk to, and Dustin offered super helpful advice. Service was speedy, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Trustworthy folks. My Subaru looks brand new!!! Five stars!!! We will be taking all our future repairs here!

This place is horrible. They pushed my pick up for almost a week after it was supposed to be with no communication at all. I had to call multiple times on my own and still could not get a clear answer as to what they were doing to my car. No one seemed to know what was happening. I was being told one thing by one person and something else by another. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I took my sons car here after he was involved in a rear end collision. I made arrangements to leave the car over the weekend and Clint advised that he would have the car torn down and an estimate by Monday afternoon. Clint was good to his word and let me know that my car would most likely be totaled by the insurance. This gave me the opportunity to start shopping for a new one well before insurance let me know it was totaled.After working with the insurance they allowed me to remove an after market radio I had I installed. I offered to pay the shop to remove it and Clint would not allow me to pay and said that he would remove it for me. Clint continuously went above and beyond to make this as good of as an experience as it could be. He always took my calls and/or called me back when he said he would.I would highly recommend AMM San Marcos if you are in need of a body shop. Thanks Clinton!

We had the absolute worst experience with this company. At first we were told the repairs would only take a week. Two months later and several calls to them with no return calls we finally got the car back. After being told it was done the first time and an inspection over the vehicle it was not. The vehicle was missing the antenna and the front side passenger door had loose wires inside of the panel which made the door rattle when closing it.We were also made aware at this point that they used all used parts in the repairs. A week later we had to call them once again to see if those issues were complete. Second attempt to pick up vehicle closed the passenger front door and the window in the passenger backseat completely fell down. There should've been communication from them without us having to constantly call and an overall service double check before the customer shows up. This was definitely not a good first impression!Service: Body & Trim

Amazing staff. Amazing work. Our car looked brand new. Only negative was I had to call to get info instead of them calling me with updates, but they were super busy coming off of there ee don't hail storms. . Would definitely use them again!
