Visiting my daughter, who is a freshman at TXST, this weekend and the brake/taillights on her car wouldn t turn off and her accelerator was acting weird. Of course, this happens around 9:00 on Saturday night. I starting searching for auto mechanics, hoping someone would be open on Sunday, and I found Cliff, with Advanced Auto Mobile Mechanic, and his reviews were fantastic. I called him and left message. Within 10 minutes he called me back, came to our hotel, and our car was fixed by 9:30. He saved the day for us!!! If there were an option of 100 stars, that s what I would be giving him. I know that my daughter can call him in the future with any auto issues and he will take care of it. Also, price was INCREDIBLY fair.

Cliff was amazing! Had my car diagnosed by someone else who said I d need a new starter, and I wanted a second opinion. Clint made time at the end of a busy day to come meet with me and he fixed the (simple) problem in no time without ordering any expensive parts! He really knows his stuff, I highly recommend him to anyone looking for car repairs.

Cliff is quick and super-personable! We had the TXST freshman parents' "trial by fire" of our student leaving her dome light on overnight and draining the battery (of course, she didn't mention the light being on until after we called Cliff out...). He only charged his minimum, so an expensive lesson for someone included a silver lining in finding a good mobile mechanic for when something is really wrong.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Was stuck at the dog park truck would not start and would not shift gearsClifton is a great mechanic, wasn't able to come to me but still gave me advice . He was the 4th mechanic I got on the phone with and only one to troubleshoot and help figure out the issue.Sometimes mechanics are hard to trust but this one 100% honest and I was able to drive home no tow.Thank you bro! Greatest mechanic experience I ve been had. Cliff is so responsive, timely, honest, thorough, and trustworthy. He spent his afterwork hours doing research on a couple issues on my truck! He takes care of his customers and is far more affordable than any other mechanic in the area. You d be crazy not to hire him for your next job!

Cliff was a God send. My daughter is away at college. She called me saying her car needed repair. We got a couple of quotes but Cliff at Advanced Auto mobile mechanic was the most affordable and he was the most transparent. He was available same day! Took care of her repair and even sent me a video during the process. My mind is at peace now. Thank you Cliff for being so honest, transparent, polite and helpful! We will spread the word that you are the guy to call!

My step daughter's car rewired some attention with issues flagged by the Service Engine Soon light. Clifton came out the same day she called and addressed all of the problems that afternoon at a very fair price. I highly recommend his service!!

When you need someone who is willing to figure out your cars problem instead of just throwing out guesses like some of the chain auto mechanics out there, he s the person to call. If he can t fix it, he will tell you where to go. He doesn t just tell you what he thinks may be the issue, he will will test it and prove it, and He s happy to explain your vehicles issues if your interested and I appreciate that because then I m learning something in addition to having my vehicle fixed. I would recommend Clifton s auto services to anyone looking for an honest, local and easy to work with mechanic.

If you're looking for a great honest mobile mechanic, Cliff is your guy. He fixed my mom's 2005 Cadillac after I had replaced the battery, starter and ignition switch. He troubleshot that and found the ignition lock cylinder was bad. He replaced and re-keyed it and had my mom's car running. He is very knowledgeable, honest and reasonable. My 2014 SunSeeker would not start. Cliff came out and I was so impressed. What really impressed me the most was his determination. He found the damaged harness which was up under the camper and extremely hard to reach. He had all the tools he needed, knew what to do, and stayed with it until he had that machine running again. Took a few hours, and it very well should have. Cliff is my mechanic in San Marcos. You will not be disappointed with this man. He gets my highest recommendation. Call him.Service: Electrical

My son who goes to school at Texas State in San Marcos called as he was having trouble in getting his car started. All the mechanic places asked to have the car towed. We called Clifton at Advanced Auto Mobile Mechanic who came immediately and diagnosed that it was the battery. He was in-expensive as well as gave a step-by-step comprehensive explanation of the trouble and what was needed to have it corrected. He charged for the parts at cost. I highly RECOMMEND this person as he has integrity. For Girls on campus this is a reliable option if your car breaks down. Thanks again.Service: Battery

My car wouldn t unlock no matter what I tried, and I called cliff who was here to help me within 10 minutes. He was able to pop the lock for me and helped me figure out my car had a dead battery. As a student at Texas state it s relieving to know I can call him again if I have car troubles, highly recommend! Cliff is the best at doing any mechanical need for your vehicle. I own a 2008 Cadillac CTS and I would have no one else work on it but Cliff.Cliff is not hesitant to take on the toughest challenges.He knows what to do, he is very professional, and he dose a great job because he enjoys his work!He lets you know just what is wrong and explains everything in a way anyone can understand. You will feel very confident in hiring him for any job you have.I would highly recommend Cliff for any issues you are having with a vehicles, big or small. I would 100% recommend Cliff. He is very knowledgeable, professional and honest. I needed a starter replacement on my truck. Gave Cliff a call and he came out same day and even sourced out and picked up the new starter on his way. Cliff is amazing!! He came to my house and in my very own driveway, fixed the brakes on my car and made sure it would pass inspection. My kids LOVED getting to watch him work from the window! It's so great to find a mechanic who will go above and beyond to be sure the job is done right and well! He got us back on the road in no time and we will be calling on him anytime we're in need of an honest, reliable guy to keep our car rollin safely :)
