If it seems too good to be true then it is. The beginning experience was fine until driving off the lot and having the vehicle for 2 days and the check engine light comes on. When you call the car lot Eddie I need the payment but we can work something out with paying for the parts. I deal with the problems myself come out of pocket for the parts, check engine light comes back on I take everything to Eddie again and out of his mouth it needs a new motor. Never in my life have I had somebody be so honest and knowing that it needed a motor after making four car payments the motor blew I get $1,500 back and was told you had the car and I had to pay for the tax title and license. Stay away do not purchase a vehicle from here you will have it towed or you will be sitting on the side of the road.

My husband and I had spent 2 full days searching for a vehicle and just when I wanted to call it a day, my husband stopped here!!! It was the best decision we made!! We were in and out of there in no time, we drove off in an awesome Jeep!! Eddie Abel was so great, effecient, funny and straight forward!! Thank you Eddie!!!! I saw the cutest Karmann Ghia sitting out front, & as a classic car collector who has a good eye, I just had to stop in & check it out!Eddie's very friendly & had a good sense of humor. We talked classic cars for almost an hour in this hot Central TX weather & he's a cool dude.Due to one of my classics being a problem child at the moment, I did not buy the car but would consider Abel Autohaus if I was in the market for a classic car or a low priced fuel-efficient runabout if these gas prices continue to be trippin' !

I ve done a lot of car deals in my 40 years of driving/owning a car. What I like most about Eddie and Abel Autohaus is how straightforward Eddie is. Definitely a no bull #$/& zone. He gives honest information and expects the same of his customers. I ve referred several family and friends to Eddie. Eddie is definitely not your stereotypical used car guy. He genuinely loves the car business. He might talk your ear off but won t steer you wrong! Check out their website; give him a call; or go stop by. Why do I drive 2 1/2 hours to buy a truck from Abel Autohaus? Because Eddie Abel takes care of me and give me the best deal for my money. This is the second truck I have purchased from Abel Autohaus and I won't shop anywhere else

I can not recommend Abel Autohaus more!!!! If It was possible to leave a higher review, I would. Over the last few days, my husband and I have been desperately looking for a new car. Alot of other dealerships were denying me. My next option was to go to Abel Autohaus since a few of my friends said they were great. When we arrived, Eddie the owner had reassured us quickly that he would be able to help us out! My previous car had alot of flaws such as; High miles, Check engine light on, NO RUNNING A/C (a big no thanks in Texas). Eddie saw that I was not only needing a new vehicle but also was willing to help us get one for very little money down. Not only that, but the vehicle I received from Eddie is reliable, has less miles, AND running A/C. Eddie was very quick to work and explained all the information I needed to know about the vehicle. I will probably forever buy any new cars from Abel Autohaus!! Thank you so much Eddie for helping out me and my family today!

I came to Abel Autohaus looking for a reasonably priced vehicle for my son to drive at college (500 miles from home, so it needed to be reliable). Eddie had just the right car in stock, at a great price. There was a minor problem with the fan (air conditioner) making a little bit of noise, and he replaced it on the spot. We worked out financing in about 20 minutes, and I was headed home with a great car, at a great price, for my son - who is very excited to come home and see it (and drive it) himself. I couldn't have asked for a better transaction, or a friendlier, more helpful environment. All in all, this was the best car buying experience I have had yet!

I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to buy a vehicle and not be pressured or hounded by the salesman. I showed up and had all the time in the world to check out the vehicle and when I was ready I went to the office and met Doug. He is a very knowledgeable man who up front told me about an issue on the vehicle that would be fixed and I bought the vehicle. On the day I picked it up another issue popped up. I went back to the lot and met Eddie who is another very knowledgeable person and had the issue taken care of. Great people. Great service.

Eddie's reviews speak for themselves. It's difficult to find salesmen with integrity these days, but Eddie knocks it out of the park. We have purchased multiple vehicles from Abels and have had phenomenal experiences. Eddie will have the business of my family, friends and anyone I can send his way until the day he retires. When that day comes, he's just going to have to come with me to make purchases. In all seriousness, this man has been wonderful to our family and he will forever have our business.

Eddie Abel is the guy you want to buy a used car from! I have always loved dealing with smaller mom & pop shops over the years and Abel Autohaus didn't disappoint! My daughter actually found Eddie through Car Gurus , and he just happened to have the Jeep I have been searching for! It was just the icing on the cake that he was Car Gurus Top Rated Dealer both in 2018 and 2019! In today's world customer service goes a long way and Eddie exemplifies what customer service is all about. Eddie and Doug are really nice when i met them 5 yrs ago we were without trasportation and they helped us out and they gave us a good working car. It saved us and got us were we needed to go. The thing i like the most about them is they treat you like family. Im almost done paying my second vehicle from them! They are not just a car dealer to me and my husband we consider them friends!

UPDATE: It's been a year since we bought our car from Eddie, and it's still running like a dream! I prefer to do my own maintenance when I can, and this car, a 4x4 FJ Cruiser, has been well cared for. Abel gave us a great deal on a car that ended up literally saving us during this recent winder storm. When the time comes to get another car, Abel Autohaus will be the first place I look!We were very happy with our experience at Abel Autohaus. Eddie was forthcoming, open, and honest, giving us all the information we needed to make an informed decision. He made sure we drove away with a great deal on a great car.I've never felt more comfortable and trusting with a car salesman than I did with Eddie. Easy Process. Super friendly people, help me work with my budget and car was in excellent condition and for a great price. If you can definitely finance through UFCU who they are partners with for a low interest rate. Great experience. Will be back for my next car.
