Gilman Honda, San Benito is an amazing business. Their staff is kind and attentive, and they really listen to customers. I always know what is going on with my vehicle too, as they clearly explain all of their services and what my vehicle needs. Their prices for services are also very competitive.

I came in hoping I could get an earlier oil change than I had been able to schedule online. The person at the desk was extremely helpful and was able to get my oil changed in what I considered record time. I was very pleased.

I went in to request a tire change. Eric from the service department assisted me from the moment I walked in to when I went to pick up my vehicle. They even shuttled me to my job! Great service and great people.

Always have THE BEST experience here. Eric and the team really are amazing! Even though dealerships are a little higher in costs compared to the mom and pops shop down the street; I feel better knowing the experts are handling my Civic aka the little RED RABT ;) Thanks guys!! I am very satisified with the work that Service Advisor, Luis Rivera; Tech, Leo Puente; and Enrique Vela of the Parts Dept. did with the complete tune-up of my Honda CR-V. The car is now running great due to their work. They are professional and provide timely service and thorough explanations. I recommend them to all.

My family and I have bought our last 3 cars from Gilman. My parents and sisters have bought multiple cars from there too. The management and service department have always been fair, kind, and helpful. Salesperson Adolfo is who we've always trusted and worked with. Hondas are very reliable and so is the staff at Gillman.

The service department is excellent. They are often very busy but took the time with me to explain everything that was needed and provided good affordable repairs. The service advisor was polite and courteous, shuttle service was prompt and quick.

I have taken my car to Honda Gillman San Benito for service since 2017 and they have had good customer service, starting with the car salesman who sold me my car. I am thankful to the mechanics who helped me with my driver's seat this week and changed my brakes. They worked through their lunch so that I could get to my son's school in time for pick up and I like that the office has a nice waiting area with sweet bread and coffee as well as water and snacks. Everyone I've ever spoken to there seems to enjoy their jobs. They also offer a shuttle home sometimes when the work will take a while and they pick you up when your car work is done. The driver is very nice and spoke highly of his company, so does the tech guy. You can tell a lot about a company by the way their employees hold themselves. I also appreciate that Honda sends me coupons at times or the automotive department will offer a discount if they're running a promotion or simply if I ask about my options. I'd recommend this Honda dealership and automotive dept to my friends and family.

He takes the time to explain every question, doubt, or concern I may have. Luis makes my visits to Gillman Honda easy and a pleasure.

Eric is wonderful to work with. He is professional, efficient, and got the job done quickly. Letty was great at getting me a rental car from Honda for cheaper than getting a rental car outside while my car was serviced. The shuttle drivers were great and quick at getting me to my location and back as well. I will bring my Honda to Gillman here on out with Eric and the employees here. I am happy with the service repairs done on my Honda and am satisfied to know that I have a service home here on out with Gillman Honda San Benito.

1/9/2024Dear Gillman Honda S. B. Service Dept.;You re asking me to share my experience on the service provided by your employees on Jan. 3rd 2024. I really hate to say this, but in no way can I say it exceeded any expectations.Please allow me to explain.I explained to Mr. Rivera, I was planning for a road trip and needed maintenance on my car. I requested for my battery to be checked, oil and filter changed and perform a tire rotation. My car was done by 4:30 pm.The following Day, (morning) Jan. 4th 2024, I decided to check the oil level and tire rotation. Raising the hood, I notice the red plastic cover on the positive terminal of the battery was left aside, also to my surprise, the oil dipstick barely marked a trace of oil at the very tip. I tried 3 times, making sure it was seated correctly. I then proceeded to check the tire rotation I had requested; they had not been done either! The employee Tech 332, (Jonathon Cortez) had stated on the work order it had been done, which was false.I went back that same morning and explained this to Mr. Rivera. He then explained to me as per the Tech, that the tire rotation had not been performed because the front tires had more thread than the rear tires. The car had run over 3000 miles with these tires.The secretary came to tell me that the Tech said that because they don t usually work on Ford Vehicles (LOL) he mistakenly put 4.4 quarts instead of 5.4 quarts of oil into the engine. Why didn't he take the dipstick and verify the oil level!This person (service Tech) committed multiple mistakes, yet he looks for ways to cover up with his logic.After the car was released back to me, I took Mr. Luis Rivera s (Service rep.) advise report, that the battery was not in good condition and I proceeded to the Boswell Elliff Ford Agency in San Benito and they installed a new one.On arriving home, that same day, Jan. 4th, 2024. I rechecked all four tires for the performance of the rotation. To my surprise, only the right side (passenger) had been done and the left (driver) side, the tires were at the same location! Also, the tire s averaged P.S.I. was 29 instead of the called 33 as per the spec on the door jamb.I called and asked to talk with the Service Manager, Mr. Kalif Fazil, at about 2:55 pm. I explained to him about this situation on the tires. Mr. Kalif told me this was not possible and that he had personally been present when the tires were rotated. I told him that maybe he (The Tech) Mr. Cortez might have gotten the tires mistaken, since they are both black. To me, as a customer, someone got distracted. Mr. Kalif also told me that the car needed only about � a quart of oil.I don t think so, why would the secretary report to me a Tech mistake of 4.4 quarts instead of the 5.4 quarts the car needed. I personally, don t think it is right to cover up for one another. Why didn t the manager tell the Tech (Mr. Cortez) to use the dipstick to verify the oil level every time he changes oil in whatever vehicle?Mr. Kalif did ask me to go back to rotate those tires. I told him I might just do it myself. I m 72 years old, I ve decided to go to a tire shop instead of taking that risk of getting myself hurt. This has been a very bad experience for me and my wife. I agreed on a 3-year maintenance agreement and paid $586 dollars and got 6 tickets for these services. In April of this year, it will be already 2 years since We bought this car at Gillman and I ve only used 2 tickets. To us, this has been a very expensive maintenance agreement. My wife and I do not travel much. And to top it off, we get this kind of service. Holly, can we please get some refund?To the person who serviced our car, I have one word of advice. I don t have a paper saying I am certified. I just used a little come sense, that s all.I do want to make a positive note, I appreciate the honesty and transparent words and understanding from Mr. Luis Rivera (Service Rep). We had excellent customer service by Eric from the service department. He made sure that we were well taken care of. He went out of his way for our safety and treated us like family. He went above and beyond to help us. I have never had that type of personal experience with any car dealership. Our car was repaired right away and didn t have to wait too long for it. I highly recommend their service department and will definitely be doing business with them in the future for our next purchase. Highly recommended!

Reasonably priced in both buying a vechile and vechile maintenance. Unfortunately the dealership closer to us is always packed and over charges us. The extra drive is worth it. Great people who are always able to help.

Took my 21 pilot in for recalls and radio clock. Clock will reset to 6:00 every time you start the car. It was supposed to be fixed. Nope it was not fixed. Service guy said they updated and fixed clock. Still doing the same thing.

Appointment was set up for car maintenance. I got there 15 minutes early and the car was taken in right away. There s water, coffee and donuts while you wait. The staff is very friendly.
