Frank has done great quality work for me the last 10 plus year. From Rear differential work to installing new brakes . Always has been Honest and backs his warranty. Let me tell you, Frank knows his stuff. I had taken my car to Meineke before bringing it here. Big mistake! Frank had the car diagnosed and out the door in a few hours. He prices fairly and you can't find better customer service in town. Just be up front and honest with him, respect goes a long way! Also, it's hot and they work hard haha bring them some water or Gatorades too! Will only use Frank & Co and definitely referring my friends and family. By far the worst experience I've had wish a mechanic! The owner was rude, didn't seem to care. Offered to do a "bandaid" of a job to get me home and wanted to charge me $70 but I got him down to $50 which to me is still to much. The "bandaid" was to put a small weld on a part that had broken to get me home. Being that I know how to weld I could've done better with my eyes closed. Wouldn't recommend this place EVER!

This place was highly recommended to us. My son took his car here and they did repairs of about 800 dollars. Car kept having the same issues. So we took the car to another mechanic the next day and were told the motor was no good. Why couldn't they tell us that and we would not have spent that money. Very disappointedIn response to your message from yesterday my son did take the car back and was told it needed more repairs done. I had a very good experience. Frank was straight forward with me. I needed a main transmission seal replaced on my car and he told me straight away that if that's what I done, that's all he would do. But, that it may need the torque converter replace as well. Which I had already been told by a couple other mechanic's. Frank was very courteous and professional. Prices were really reasonable. The price he quoted me is the price I paid. No surprises. I'd recommend him any day.

Ask for Frank he's a great mechanic. Really good customer service excellent work. He does what it takes to make you happy. Most importantly he is very honest. I had a previous mechanic tell me I had an intake manifold leak. I took Frank the part and gave him the money and said fix it. 3 minutes later he called me and said there's nothing wrong with the intake manifold gasket. Why did you want to replace it he asked? I told him another mechanic told me it needed to be replaced and wanted to charge $200 more than what Frank was going to charge. Ever since then I've been a loyal customer.

Frank has always been honest and truthful. He does not attempt to work on something he is not knowledgeable and uncomfortable with. He has been working on my cars for over 10 years. Fair pricing with great work.

My wife and I have taken our vehicles to Roy for several years now. We live on the other side of town (Loop 1604 W) from his shop, and sometimes it is a hassle dropping off vehicles and picking them up; however, it is absolutely worth it. Why? First, and foremost, Roy is honest. Secondly, he tells you what you really need and what you don't need. Thirdly, we have never had any problems with repairs he has done. Fourth, his fees are reasonable...not cheap...not outrageous. I also have to add that his shop is a family run business, and they are really nice folks.This is an unsolicited review. I went online to print out information on Roy's Shop for my neighbor and decided to do a review. All I can add to this review is to recommend that you give Roy's shop a try. I think you'll be very happy, too. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Frank helped me when I was in such a pinch! He diagnosed my issue lightning fast and had a part ordered and replaced within 2 hours. I m a musician and was on tour 15 hours away from home and he had mercy on my situation for sure! When he said I needed another part that wasn t available in the time frame I needed, he suggested that Austin may have a shop that would carry the parts. The mechanic in Austin completely agreed with the original diagnosis Frank gave me, which assured me that Frank was trustworthy and knowledgeable. Super thankful that Frank was able to help so quickly.

Update: Had to downgrade from 5 to 1 stars. I was told to bring my car in Friday morning to discuss service. Waited for 40 minutes and no one showed up to work. Phone system is useless, won t accept messages. Posted business hours are 8-5. Thought I had found a reliable shop, guess not.

Frank, the Mgr. at Wetmore Automotive is an excellent mechanic and he has great mechanics working for him. His shop does such a great job, I have now decided to make him my primary mechanic whenever our vehicles need any type of repair work! The prices are fair and the work is excellent!

Wetmore Automotive did an excellent job on my transmission swap out. I bough my own transmission and had it delivered to their location. They had me back on the road within a day. Their prices were the best for a reputable shop in the area. I will be brining my other vehicles and letting family and friends know also. They are honest and nice folks who take pride in doing excellent work. Thanks again Wetmore Auto!

Since a friend told me about them over 3 years ago they have been my go to whenever I have problems with my car. They are honest, prices are reasonable and explain things to you. They work fast and efficient I would recommend them to anyone.

Frank is a great mechanic, he is very quick, knowledgeable and fair on prices, he has done everything on my vehicles from replacing ac/heat blower motor to full motor swap in my old Jeep. Highly recommend.

Brought my 2005 Jeep Liberty in for a transmission fluid and filter change. I told Frank I had an accident 2 weeks ago and I was concerned more damage than a ruined wheel and destroyed tire. I could hear something that sounded like a rock in a tire tread but couldn't find anything. He finished the transmission job, checked and filled all the other fluids and inspected the rear from the front of the wheels back. He had it on a lift so he could walk under it. The only thing he could find were worn brake pads. I was so grateful since they had not been inspected in a long time. Reasonable cost for the maintenance and didn't charge one penny for the inspection. Excellent, honest mechanic. I highly recommend this repair garage.

PREMIUM SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICE.Sure they say your vehicle is your investment but you don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it, I've got recommended Wetmore Auto many years ago and since that time Frank and his staff won me over, I been with them for years and i've trusted all my vehicles to this shop because they deliver honest and expedited service. Frank and his staff will give you their undivided attention. Im giving this shop the credit it deserves. If you want a shop that you can build a long term relation look no further.

Discovered Wetmore Auto Repair while shopping for a remanufactured transmission - they were referred by one of the reman online stores as an authorized shop to install their products. Good thing I found them, Frank mentioned I should check LKQ before finalizing my decision - fantastic referral, saved me a few hundred bucks. Had some parts I'd purchased, they were happy to install them charging me only the labor for the work - their time for the work was within industry expectations.High quality work, excellent customer service, - my new go to repair shop - can't beat fair, honest, and high quality!

I've been going to Roy's NE Shop for the past 2 years since 2011 and they have always taken care of my 11 yr. old dodge durango issues.. Roy's NE Shop has very reasonable pricing. They are very honest, hard working and quick turn around. And open on Saturday's for people that work all week! ++ :DI've recommend Roy's to all my family and they all use Roy's now.

I live in Austin and I NOTICE REAL QUICK that they will overcharge you with Auto Repairs. So I did my research and found Wetmore Auto Repair in San Antonio. Frank and company did great work on my Lexus and for that he now most definitely has a new customer and i m bringing 2 more people with me.

Went to have my transmission worked on and they claimed to have dropped the pan to look and see if I needed a rebuild or something else along that matter. Apparently everything looked fine and it was an electrical issue. Didn't charge me for any of the work that they did if they even did anything at all, which I found odd. No one's does that stuff for free so I thought it was too good to be true which it was. I would've appreciated to just be told that they were just too busy at the time instead of being lied to. Now I'm at an actual transmission shop and they're telling me that the information above about my transmission is false and that I was lied to.

Paid these guys $130 for a diag on an old truck. Got a "it could be this or that" response. Gross overestimate on cost to fix when the problem was a $60 part. Also not very friendly.

Had my brakes done on my 2013 Honda CRV , at Wetmore Auto Repair , I dealt with Frank he was honest and very professional. I'm very happy with the service and will be back for my auto service needs .

You should check these guys out! I have dreaded the repairs my car needed and these guys had me sure when I left that they took serious care of the repairs.They are not slow, and they are just as thorough as any overcharging repair shop. For the right price and record time they made me feel safe on the road again!

I trust this place at of all the places here in san Antonio. Me and my fiance we can rely on frank and his crew . he's a good guy and its very affordable .since day one before my daughter was born . he helped me get my a.c. fixed. Thanks guys !

Low price s, good customer service. I came into this shop not knowing what was wrong with my car. Went to other shops & they gave me ridiculous prices. I talked to Vince he was very helpful with everything & completely honest. I recommend coming to this shop. Ask for Vince !

i was always told that frank and his shop was probably the best place to go for your car and everyone who said that was right, brought it in after cordova did nothing and frank helped me out and got everything fixed with the car super fast basically the same day as he got the parts and was pretty fair on pricing, will definitely recommend and will continue to do business with them.

Definitely the place to take your car if you want an honest, straight-forward expert. Frank's prices are more than reasonable for the quality of his work.
