We always come here for our tire services and have never had issues till today. We got there at 6:38 pm, they close at 7. We were in our car waiting for someone to come to us like they always do, then at 6:52 someone finally came to us and when we told them what we needed he told us we had to come back tomorrow. They could ve told us this as soon as we arrived instead they just let us wait there and all we wanted was to purchase a tire, they weren t even gonna have to install it.

Was 2nd in line this morning. They still took 1.5 hours just to rotate my tires. Car has been ready for 15 minutes and no one was at the front desk until I brought it up to one of the members.

Went at 7 in the morning for an oil change. The sign said they opened at 7. Waited for 25 minutes until they opened. Then a guy came out and told me he had somebody who had an appointment to rotate tires and wouldn't be able to help me for a few hours. I ended up going to Take 5. Should've gone there in the first place. Take 5 helped me immediately.

The young man at the auto center was very attentive. Even though he was busy he took the time and effort to let customers know,"it's just me, please be patient and I will be with you shortly". Extremely pleasant doing business with him, which the way this Walmart staff has been, was a nice change.

Slow service 2 1/2 hr wait for an oil change on a Monday. I should ve gone somewhere else but I won t be back. Gotta do better . The employee working on my car disappeared for an hour. Felt sorry for the 2 workers who were slammed with cars

The lube man Sammy needs better customer service. I pulled into the service drive and showed him my bar code of my order which he responded to move my vehicle and go ask inside. I told him to get someone to help me which he didn t then threatened to move my vehicle himself. There was a man outside with a blue vest he spoke to after which was the same guy with a scanner who followed me inside that could of just scanned my code since the beginning. The instructions for pick up says to pull into the service and an associate should scan your code and get your items. Sammy was so unprofessional and rude. He really needs to know what to do next time another person is trying to pick up their paid items because it was so inconvenient to go inside when he could of told the associate outside I was there for a pick up.

Had an appointment at 7 which is when the the tire center opens, showed up at 6:50. Tire center opened late at 7:45. Didn't get seen until 8:15 even thought I was the second person in line. Just bad service all around.Service: TiresService: Tires

I wish they would take appointments for oil charges cause a 4 hour wait is Ridiculous. And they were so rude not even a good morning it's what do you need. And still can't say how long it will take it might even be longer. Wow!

The service was a little slow but everyone was extremely helpful after I explained to them that I bought my tires at an out of state Walmart and needed an exchange because I had the warranty.I called ahead of time and their system showed no replacement tire in stock, but the gentleman at the counter went back into the storage area to verify. He found an exact match and held it for me so it wouldn't be sold before I got there. I was definitely impressed with everyone's knowledge, attitude and professionalism.If I ever move to this city, this will be the place I go get my tires.Service: Tires

I went to help my friend buy a battery on 11/16/2021. There were several employees inside standing around and chatting. The man who helped us was lazy and disrespectful. He made it perfectly clear that he would rather stand there with his friends and direct us somewhere else to get help. My friend and I are both disabled and batteries are pretty heavy.We found a small piece of metal pressed into the pavement outside and when I bent over to pick it up he made me give it to him. I believe he thought if it was gold he would just keep it for himself.Then he didn't want to give my friend a car rebate or core exchange that is pretty standard on battery purchases.He did not help us take the battery back outside.This person truly gives this Automotive Department a bad name as there were other people outside working very hard assisting their customers. My friend would not allow me to add his name or I would have.

As a former TLE employee, I was very disappointed with their service. I came in about a year ago with a complaint about a slow leak and asked if they could find the source and inform me as soon as they find it. Instead, I was told that the tire was fine. They simply aired it up and sent me on my way. I thought that the service was done way too fast and that they didn't look at all.The following morning, I was proven right. My tire was completely flat and that "slow leak" wasn't slow at all. I returned angry and asked to speak with the service manager on duty. I filed a report and was promised that they would start to work immediately. Instead, I waited for about 4 hours that should have taken no more than ten minutes to locate a leak.By the time the service crew had gotten around to look at my tire, the leak wasn't in the tread at all. It was in the sidewall, which was something that I had suspected in the first place since a visual inspection wasn't going to cut it in locating the leak. This time, they placed the wheel in the bath, which should have happened in the first place.Since my tires were under warranty and they missed the mark the first time I took in my car, my fee was waived and the situation was resolved. It still doesn't change the fact that the damage was done from their breech of trust, but at least they honored the warranty, which is under policy that they have to as long as the tires purchased are still within the tread depth range per warranty guidelines.

I want to thank the mechanics, they were very nice and knowledgable. I came in because my tire had a screw, this was the closest Walmart with an Auto Center from North Star, glad I was able to get their on time, they fixed it in a good amount of time. Should have some seating areas outside which is my recommendation.

Slow and Totally disinterested. I had a bad battery and was going to purchase new battery and have it installed. After watching several cars come and go with oil changes and new tires and waiting TWO hours I gave up and told them I'd had enough and was leaving. Not one apology or an offer to "get right on it". Not sure what I did to irritate all of them but it'll be a cold day before I go back . Going back to O'Riley's.

Wait time is ridiculous! But understandable since it s only 2 techs only working. They need to hire more staff and stop overworking those 2 techs !

I went to I-10 and Vance Jackson location auto services wal mart in San Antonio, TX at 2:50pm. I happen to have 1 customer in front of me on the tire service side of the auto services department. After the technicians are finished servicing the gentleman ahead of me, a buddy of the technicians walks into the garage. The technicians talk and goof around for about 20 to 30 minutes until they decide to service my car. I only required 1 tire to be serviced. Once the technician starts to service my vehicle I ask the technician why did it take so long; he tells me " sorry about the wait" that's proper customer service, but my question wasn't answered. I paid for my services once finished in a total wait time of 1 hour and 2 minutes. Keep in mind I had only 1 customer ahead of myself on the tire service department side of the auto center of wal mart.

Had a flat on a Sunday evening while driving through San Antonio. We came here right before they close and these guys stayed to get us back on the road. The person helping us was very friendly as well.

Walmart Auto Care took very good care of me! Their tire selection are very good and cost effective! The service for my car was superb, as well as the customer service! 5 stars and beyond!

Management do not know basic policy or posses common sense. I replaced a friends battery on my lunch break. I bought the battery and went to her to replace it. I went back to the same Walmart two days later for them to test her old battery and get a refund on the new battery I purchased. They kept telling me they don t do that and that I shouldn t have just replaced the battery even though the old battery they tested, tested bad. They ended up saying they needed the new battery to scan in it even though what they needed, the product S/N, was on my receipt. All major autoparts store and auto manufacturers would have refunded my money. I know because I ve worked for both. Retrain your people.

Always do a good job just need to remind the mechanic to keep tires at a different psi cause my tires aren't stock

Just read the hours on this site. Says hours for Tire and Lube are 23.59 hours a day. This is a lie / false advertising. Had two flats on Daughters car this morning. Got up and took tires to WalMart, on Vance Jackson, San Antonio, Tx, at 06:00 am. No one in the department so I sat down in the waiting room, in the dark. After 10 minutes I pulled the chair out to the entrance to the department and sat until 06:45 when one of the stokers said "No one will be in until 08:00 maybe 07:45". This is it.At 08:15 when I came back I was shone buy the manager where hours are posted some 50 feet from the pedestrian door to the shop on the end of the building.To Chris, Man your worth your pay and more. The only person who didn't act as I was wasting their time.

If you want sketchy unqualified and untruthful technicians working on your beloved car then this is the place to go, if you care about your safety, other drivers safety and your vehicle than I advise to stay away from this location. I went in to get another tire balance and rotation from my warranty but once again the lying technician said it was impossible to balance my wheel because of the bent rim, funny thing is I had them balanced elsewhere with no problem. The mechanic that balanced them correctly told me that when people don t want to take diligent time to correctly balance a wheel that is a bit harder than usual, they ll give you the your rim is too bent excuse. Anyway, so I told the manager and because I was upset about their lack of knowledge they refused to help me. Also, they thought I was a dummy who didn t know how to check his own tire pressure. They supposedly checked all of them and they were all magically at the manufactures recommendation of 33psi when I had literally JUST FINSHED pumping them myself to my specs of 35 psi on front and 34.5 on back wheels. Low and behold, each wheel is at a different pressure and NONE AT WHAT THE LYING TECHNICIANS SAID IT WAS. None were at 33psi. They literally opened my door, saw the recommended psi and wrote that on the report. SKETCHY LIARS WHO DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU, YOUR CAR, OR THE LIFETIME WARRANTY YOU BOUGHT. Both road side hazard and lifetime balance and rotation are a waste of money because if it s too difficult they ll give you the run around hoping you don t know what you re doing. LOW TIRE PRESSURE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND THESE EMPLOYEES TAKE IT AS A JOKE. They literally were laughing while taking air pressure out at random, they didn t know I was watching them; but those laughs quickly went away soon as I confronted them and exposed them. Soon as they knew they couldn t win they waited for me to get upset and used it as an excuse to not help me! SORRY THE MACHINE THAT TRANSPORTS ME AND MY FAMILY IS IMPORTANT TO ME AND THAT I GOT UPSET WHEN SOMETHING I PAID FOR WASNT EVEN BOTHERED TO BE DONE AND THEN I WAS LIED TO ABOUT WHAT WAS DONE.

It took about 2 hours to get some tires fixed and an oil change but thats fine i was in no rush. Everything came out correctly done and they even went the extra mile to help me out with a few things. Cheap, easy and great customer service. Will be going back.

The service the employees gave was good but the auto zone opened at 7 I along with one other person was out there 20 till there were only 2 workers but the time I got to speak with someone about what I needed it was 730 my car did not get pulled into auto center till 745 so I had been there a hour before my car started to get worked on i have done this at other locations and was in and out within a hour this trip took 2 hours plus great service but not good if your in a rush

Worthless they actually close at 6 because if you get there anytime after 6 you'll sit there and wait for 20 minutes and then they'll tell you it's already closed don't waste your time if you can't make it before 6 p.m.

I haven't been serviced in this location but called about 20 times no answer. Although when they did answer I was put on hold serveral times just to check if they had a tire in stock. One of the times I was put on hold for exactly 25 mins. My concern is this. Does any upper mangement read these reviews? Or does Corporate look at these bad experience.? Very upsetting.

Terrible place to have work done. Waited 2 hours to be told my battery was bad and then they wouldn't honor their own warranty. Lots of unhappy people waiting for their vehicles avoid at all costs!
