I have used this service center several times; however, I have been met with disappointment time and time again. While the staff is very friendly, the services provided seem lackluster. For instance, I recently discovered a missing skid plate after leaving the facility. When I brought it to their attention, they offered me only a 10% discount, citing that I did not notice it upon departure. This was despite no signs of tampering and the fact that I exclusively used the service center for all servicing needs. Additionally, they failed to address the plug issue I was experiencing in the center console, yet still charged me the full price. I even had to replace a missing fuse myself. Moreover, none of the filters in my car were replaced, leaving me feeling as though I had received nothing more than an expensive oil change. This experience is just one of many disappointing visits I have had at this service center.

Over time, I have been a loyal customer of Principle Auto. However, I must express my recent dissatisfaction with the quality of their service and professionalism. While the staff has consistently been excellent, I regret to say that my experience with Shawn, the service department manager, has been disappointing.Shawn's approach not only makes customers feel undervalued but also raises concerns about professionalism and potential bias. It is essential that customer care and addressing recurring issues become a priority to ensure overall customer satisfaction.I believe it is crucial to share my experiences through this review to help others make informed decisions when choosing Principle Auto for their Volvo needs. Despite reaching out to the manager multiple times, I have not received a response regarding the service issues with my vehicle, despite several emails over the past few weeks.I would like to acknowledge the excellent work done by the service advisors; however, this positive aspect is overshadowed by the persistent issues I have faced with my recent vehicle purchase, which continues to require attention.

No one will come out to greet you! You have to walk into the building and ask for a salesperson because the ones outside are busy talking on the phone and smoking. DO NOT BUY USED from PRINCIPLE because they DO NOT RECONDITION their used vehicles properly. The BMW dealership tried to sell me a used Lexus SUV with bald tires. It also had a messed up NAV system and many scratches all over. The SUV was taken to the auction because the condition was so bad. They did not want to fix the issues with the SUV. Buy your used cars elsewhere!

Amazing service at Principle Volvo. We gladly drove farther than our closest Volvo service center in Temple to get our car repaired and maintained at this location. If you're looking to be treated well and provided exemplary service you won't be disappointed with the service department at Principle. The service techs, Cody, Fabian and "ZZTop" are all assets to this business.

Sold my Hyundai and bought a Volvo because of the service. This place will set up appointments promptly, deal with your car almost immediately and if the issue is minor, you can get your car back in a few hours. Got tired of waiting days and sometimes weeks at other places here in San Antonio. My next car WILL also be Volvo.

1. Had my mother in laws vehicle (2022) for 8+ months for a simple job.2. Service agent Ken has been screening calls and has been in the shop 5+ days with no loaner for simple warranty work.

I can't speak highly enough of Cody from the service department! As a new Volvo owner, I was unsure of the process of everything and Cody went above and beyond explaining everything to me. He even showed me a visual chart laying out the maintenance schedule and I really appreciated this because I'm a visual learner.A week before this, I went in to get maintenance on my car and I didn't get so lucky. My Volvo app told me my next service was complimentary (we just bought the Volvo less than 2 months ago). I also called to confirm that it was complimentary and the person on the phone confirmed that it was. When I got there the assistant service manager I got (not naming names) flatly told me the service would be $680. No explanation of the services that were included. Nothing else.Confused, I mentioned the complimentary notice in the app and that I called to confirm it and he just rolled his eyes and kept repeating himself. Unprepared to just drop $680 after the expectation of it being complimentary, I left with no intention on coming back. Overall, I'm glad I did though because I got Cody the second time!Thank you, Cody!Service: Oil change

**They buy fake 5-star reviews**Most corrupt and bottom of the barrel service mechanics, they get all their money once you buy a car in maintaince costs.Nothing is wrong but get ready for nearly $1000 in yearly costs on a car with less than 40k miles.Car dealerships gain the most profit in service, not selling cars and these people are the worst in business. Exploiting customers.

Cody is the best service rep for this Volvo. He is not only courteous, informative, prompt but also very spends the right amount of time with a customer. He develops a brand loyalty with his customer that makes us want to return. Thank you Cody!

My service appointment at Principal Volvo in San Antonio was effortless. Cody was really friendly and advised me of what they were going to check on my Volvo and gave me a time frame of when I would get the car back. They also gave me a loaner vehicle to use in the mean time since I have two toddlers. Another gentleman even helped me take out the car seats. Very friendly and efficient staff! I really appreciate the service!

I do not live in San Antonio I made arrangements to have my car dropped off and a friend pick me up. I asked for a state inspection while my oil was being changed! My car was in there for over two hours they did not give me a state inspection, they gave me a multi point inspection which does me absolutely no good because my tags are due!! I specifically said my tags were due and I needed a state inspection!! Time is the most valuable commodity they certainly screwed that one up!Service: Oil change

I've Dealt with Mark Smith (COO) he bailed on me "went to Disneyland". Dan (Manager), Multiple Salespeople, Service people and this Dealership still sold me a Broken car that I had to make "Look" Acceptable to me. Scratches and Defective Trim pieces, a broken right Headlight washer ($890) that I brought to my Salesperson attention when I 1st chose the car. Plus, I brought these Defencies to the attention of the above mentioned staff who promised these things would be fixed. From Nov '21 to Jan '22 I was told my car was "Drivable" come pick it up. Never activated my Volvo Car Apps just took my money.

All I can say is WOW . I am a huge skeptic of dealerships and getting cars serviced by them. But I was just (happily) proven wrong. We were so well taken care of, communicated with, and got the issue to resolution quickly. In for 90k service and diagnostic of a whirly-bird sound when pressing the accelerator at about 65 mph. I'm impressed that with my description of the sound they were able to find and repair the problem. Kevin kept me up-to-date on the status of my vehicle.

I am considering not purchasing a Volvo next after purchasing exclusively volvo's during my life because due this dealership has poor workmanship and service.They also damage my vehicle and covered it up and gave it back to me trying to pass it off as if nothing happened.I was sold a vehicle from this dealership where the oil was not changed.Several times this dealer tell me that they've done specific repairs to my vehicle that it's my vehicle that I found out later were not performed.Complaints to service manager go unanswered. They will not respond to voicemails or written messages. I know several people in San Antonio who would like like purchase volvo but would not because this is the only volvo dealer in the area.

Service was impeccable, from the service greeter to the Service Advisor David ,took my vehicle in for the 60 K service , I would not take my Volvo to any other Dealer !!

They have short of staff, long waiting, they have drop off Service but NO pickup service, u have to arrange your own transport to pick up your car
