If you need a spot to get your truck lifted, this is the place. Rick went above expectations to ensure my truck got done appropriately. I bought a Rough Country kit and had it installed along with some new 33s. My truck came out amazing. I definitely recommend this shop.

I needed an alignment and was referred by a friend of mine. Spoke to Nick, and he is awesome! My car was finished in the timely manner I was quoted it'd be done. All the other mechanics are nice and helpful. I paid a super reasonable price for my service, plus the alignment was done correctly as well. I would definitely recommend Viramontes!!!

If you are a female, do not go to this mechanic shop for anything. I originally paid $667.00 for a clutch replacement on a Honda Civic. Told it was under warranty. Didn't even put 300 miles on the car and had to take it back and was told that the flywheel was bad. The technician did not do a full inspection and Ricky charged me an additional $200.00 for them to drop the transmission again. I requested additional parts so they wouldn't have to go back in there and blame it on the car for being older, so I had them replace the rear main seal with the flywheel job on the second transmission drop. After I picked my car up I found out that there was an animal running through the back of my car with animal mud prints. I was very upset about this and told Ricky. He did absolutely nothing. Didn't even have the car 100 miles and had a rear main seal leak from the clutch job that was done for the second time. I took it back a 3rd time and they had my car week claiming they dropped the transmission again to fix the leak which was lies. I took my car to the Honda dealership and was told that the rear main was still leaking. Went back for the fourth time and stood my ground and demanded some kind of refund. Ricky agreed to only give me back $500 of my money but I paid for an $900 job. If you are a female I would not go to this shop for tires or any motor work.

This is legit the only mechanic i take my car to. Reasonable prices, quick service, right down the street from me lol gets the job done correctly. i highly recommend!!I was even locked out my car one day and the mechanic called his little brother who helped me get back in.

Paid them $800 to fix my A/C. Fast forward a month later and a/c was not fixed and was told they did not know how to fix it and turns out my $800 was for ther time in trying to unsuccessfully figure it out.. NIGHTMARE mechanics!!!

I was in San Antonio today on business, after I picked up my daughter and son in law to go to the meeting I noticed that my vehicle was letting me know that I had a low tire. So I right away found a discount tire and after waiting for about 20 minutes they told me they couldn t fix it because the hole was larger than a small nail, what a waste of time. My daughter told me about another place so we drove over there. Viramontes tire shop was amazing, had me back on the road in about 15 minutes.

The owner tried to rip me off of almost $3000 for the diagnoses to be wrong, most likely not even checked. Untrustworthy people. If you re a woman, do not take your car here.

Had a slow leak fixed,tires balanced and rotated. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I would go back next time I'm in need of a good tire shop.

Viramontes Tires is definitely my go to spot for any repairs on my car. Rick is always there to help me and make sure I m taking care of! Very affordable and does very great work. Definitely recommend coming here for any repairs

We have been coming to Viramontes for over 10 years for automotive maintenance and repairs - they have always done a great job. They've done brakes, timing belts, water pumps, and repaired oil leaks for us. Their prices are excellent - we have never had to shop around. Thank you!

I bought a tire here, the emotes was acting dodgy all the time, requesting the tip in advance, after a couple if days feeling my car was not driving straight I came back to let them know, owner/mgr or the "boss" as the employees refer to told me to came another day because they were "too busy", I hope they would have been that "busy" when they took my cash ( btw: they requested my payment in cash, I went to the bank to get it while they were mounting the tire on the original rim, now I wonder how legit is that tire)

I called them to change my converter, and they gave me a price. When I got there, they gave me a higher one. Twenty minutes later, they called me and gave me another price. In the end, they were charging me more than double the original price. I regret taking my car there.

I've been coming here for used tires for a few years now. The service and pricing are good. They always have the used tire sizes we need. They do more than tires and offer reasonable prices on thier mechanic work as well. They changed out all 20 of my wheels studs at a reasonable rate and the same day! It seems every employee I came in contact with has been knowledgeable and helpful which is a big plus for me personally. This will be my go-to for the foreseeable future. UPDATE JAN 2023: still going here for tires and automotive work. Service is great and prices reasonable, short wait.

Paid $200 to have them fix a muffler mount and do a cat delete. The cat was completely untocuhed and muffler is still having problems, so I doubt that was touched either. Going to have another shop fix it. Wouldn't recommend coming here, it's gone very downhill the last few years. And the guy we dealt with wouldn't let us leave without giving him a generous tip. Very very unprofessional

This shop and staff are amazing! My car over heated and ended up needing a new water pump. I was referred to Viramontes by one of their customers I met at a gas station and they were able to get me in the next morning. I lost my phone during the ordeal the night before and one of the owners drove me to the rental car facility since I was not able to order a Lyft/Uber. I dropped the car off on Saturday morning and was able to drive back to Houston Monday afternoon without any problems. I am grateful for the excellent customer service and quality work they provided. Thank you!

Super cheap, friendly, fast and great service. Will definitely use them again for any future vehicle issues we may have.My husband dropped his truck of in the afternoon and it was done the next day. We were expecting a good week at least but they got the catalytic converter switched out and his exhaust pipe fixed all within that day. Definitely recommend

Beware this is a decent Tire shop ..but these guys are lousy mechanics.We ve used them for a while and it never fails that we regret it.They half do the job and when it s your brakes this is very dangerous!This last time they fixed my car, it broke down in the middle of the street! I m not taking a chance again with them.Clearly they re not certified Mechanics with the shoddy work they do!

Fast and friendly service everytime. They get the job done and get it done right! I appreciate their fast turn around time. It's my go to place for quick flat-tire repairs. Would definitely reccomend to all drivers. Come check them out for yourself. They also do muffler replacement and alignments.

I just picked up my car... so far so good. They were the least expensive in labor. I had other quotes but those were overpriced. The person assisting me when I picked up my car was friendly and courteous. They are far from where i live but it was definitely worth the drive. Will definitely keep them in mind for next time!

Good Tire shop,great Service .Had air leaking tire ,ended up buying used tire for temporary. Week later had issues with it. Mr Viramontes replace tire.Definitely recommend. Good honest Business.

Ive been coming here for years, even when its out of the way. And not just for tires, they have replaced a control arm and a slave cylinder for me, and even welded my muffler onto the pipe so I could pass inspection. Prices were always good and work was done in a timly manner. Staff is friendly and very polite, and if they cant answer your question, they will find someone who can.

Hands down the best experience I've ever had with a tire shop!! I was in and out in 20 minutes and they only charged me $10 to patch my tire that was quoted at $20 to $40 by some of the bigger tire shops. 10/10 recommended

Must say that these guys came thru on a rush brake job. My friend she had let her brakes wear down till the pad came off. Of course that damaged the caliper and the rotor. Front wheel car no brakes at 4pm on a Friday. Yeah good luck with that, probably Tuesday before you get your whip back. But they decide they'd help her out. And by 6pm it was done. Rotor grinded down, caliper fixed, new brake install calibrated and two tires put on the front - balanced all by 6pm . Excellent work!!
