He was fast the guy was nice and cool but I did not like how he charged me 22$ and gave me a receipt of a 7$ charge.He said because my rear tail light was cracked or open. A Lil shady but glad their removing inspection 2025.

Horrible experience!!! I went in for an inspection. Everything was going well until it was time to pay. There is a sign that clearly says inspection $7, along with an optional service fee of an extra $5, amounting to a total of $12. The very rude inspector said the total was $12. I asked what for and mentioned that the sign says $7. He said "I don't know, that's what they charge here." I then asked what the optional service fee included and he said "that's what the price is here and that's it." I only had $10 on me, so I told him I would go get money out. When I returned, the inspector was upset and said that he had deleted me from the computer and couldn't give me my inspection. He then proceeded to shut the door on me. It was a very unpleasant experience, when all you're trying to do is follow the law and get your inspection, but then we have companies and inspectors trying to scam us for $5.

Went to this establishment to get a state inspection done. Unaware that the state inspection cost is only $7. The gentleman quoted me a $12 fee which I paid. 2 days later took my second vehicle to another establishment to get the same service state inspection. I was charged $7. So I called the facility on Culebra and Bandera Road Cavazos paint and body to inquire why I was charged that extra $5 fee. The gentleman got very defensive with me and actually hung up on me. He did mention that the owner Daniel is the one that is responsible for that charge and I would have to speak with him. I did speak to the gentleman Daniel and I was told that the $5 charge is optional which I was never given the option to pay 7 or $12 he did mention that the additional $5 was for checking the light bulbs things that are already required when doing a state inspection. I went back to the facility and now he put on his sign optional Please be aware be vigilant when going into these facilities. Unfortunately you have facilities that are gouging their customers. If you have been a victim at this establishment please contact the Department of Public Safety you will have to go online and fill out a complaint at this point it is a principle behind. The picture that I posted are the signs that they're offering for this extra $5 cost . Which l never went into their facility ,I never went into the waiting room. There was no wait when I went to get my state inspection sticker so why was I charged the extra $5.

Came in for a State Inspection. The sign on the floor by the office clearly states that the inspection is $7 and that there is an optional charge of $5 in the event that a light bulb or whatever needs to be changed out. The old-timer finished his inspection and quoted me $12 dollars. He even wrote it on my receipt. I asked Why $12? He said, I don t know. That s what he charges. He then proceeded to direct me to an ATM because, apparently, they do not accept cards which I find hard to believe. I sat at a gas station looking up laws and came across a video about another shop in SA up charging customers for State Inspections. This gave me the confidence to come back to the shop and tell the old-timer that I didn t want anything optional. That I was only paying $7. He calmly replied, Well, give me the $7. I got what I wanted/needed, so it s kinda hard to complain, but I m writing this review for the future potential customers of this business. The old-timer dove into the inspection immediately so that when he hands you the invoice you feel like you have no choice; you are trapped. That s predatory behavior and bad business.

Inspector sat inside his office, made eye with me & had me wait 5 minutes until i got out and knocked.He got out and told me to move up the car, then went back and sat in his office for almost 10 minutes.I just left. Clearly he didn't feel like being bothered to work today.

It was really fast and the guy was very friendly with uniform but the only downside was once you put car inside you need to back out of the car lot ..It would be better if you could leave and pass the plastic wall cover and go forward towards that to leave. It reminded me of dead trap like Friday the 13 and seems like you're going to get killed behind the plastic wall ..just saying..but you have to back out and leave when you have other cars waiting ..So it's a bummer ..But if you like waiting and backing out to enter back into road with some hassle .This is for you.. But overall awesome customer service in my book ..

Horrible service. The older gentleman refused a digital version of insurance. Claims to only need paper version of insurance. New laws state that digital versions are valid. Dont waste your time here.

Not optional. $7 inspection turns to $12. Old timer thinks he is back in PD inspecting every little thing possible. There are better places.

Old guy looked like he didn't know what he was doing. Waited until he was finished with the car infront of me and I guess he went on break. I just left

Pull up and WAITED 20 minutes before getting off the car and found that the old guy sleeping in the office. I Got back in my car, honked for a long time and left.. Waste of time even going there.

I just pulled up. The guy yells No! And waves me off. I leaned my head out and he turned his back and walked into the shop. Rude. Close to me but will never go back.
