I seriously cannot recommend Jay and Texas Auto Accessories highly enough!On a Thursday afternoon I heard a weird creaking sound when I went to close my sunroof. After that, my sunroof wouldn't open at all. When I hit the button (and despite how much I tried pushing and pulling), one of the hinges at the rear corner of the sunroof appeared to be completely seized.After reading a ton of posts on various online forums I found out that the panoramic sunroof on my Mercedes is notoriously difficult and very expensive to repair. If I were to take it to the Mercedes dealership it would have cost me $3.8-$4.5K to fix. I was almost resigned to a life of not having a usable sunroof from here on out, but couldn't imagine dealing with that come summertime in Texas.After a bit of searching online, I came across Texas Auto Accessories. Their many 5-star reviews led to me give them a call on the Friday evening. Jay immediately answered and was more than generous/patient with his time discussing the problems with my sunroof with me. He said that I could bring my car down to him the very next day and he would go and get the necessary parts from Mercedes in the morning (keep in mind, this would be on a SATURDAY).I arrived at Jay's shop around noon and he immediately got to work. Despite all of the forums saying the job usually took 5+ hours, Jay completely repaired the sunroof in just a little over 3 hours! And he fixed it PERFECTLY! I watched Jay work the entire time and let me tell you, this was no easy job! He had to take out my car's entire headliner, disconnecting all of my visors, lights, etc. and he took the entire sunroof out of the car. Jay completely disassembled the sunroof rails/complex parts and replaced the broken parts with new ones. When he put everything back together it was as good as new!I took the car for a test drive when he was done and there wasn't even a hint of wind noise coming from the sunroof. All of the seals and the sunroof operation was perfect. Not only that, he took the time/care and attention to detail to put everything back exactly as it should be (even cleaning the entire area too)!The entire cost was a fraction of what the Mercedes dealership would have charged me. Not to mention, I was able to have the whole thing fixed the VERY NEXT DAY after I called Jay, rather than having to wait weeks for when the Mercedes dealership would've finally been able to fit me in and schedule an appointment.And also just to say, on a personal note, Jay is a great guy. We talked the entire time he was working on my car and it was clear to me that he's a genuinely nice and honest guy - a rare thing to find amongst car mechanics these days.I would definitely recommend Jay to anyone else, including my own friends and family. If I ever have an issue with my sunroof or car's windows in the future, I 100% wouldn't hesitate to bring it back to Jay and Texas Auto Accessories. I hope others who have sunroof issues needing repair read this and have the same awesome experience as I did, you won't regret it!(Thanks again Jay!)

Jay is great! I took my 2016 F-150 to the Ford dealership to have the sunroof/moonroof repaired after it stopped operating properly and wouldn t open. One week and a $5000.00 repair quote later, I had accepted defeat. After doing some digging online, I found Jay at Texas Auto Accessories. He looked at my sunroof the same day, ordered the necessary parts, had my sunroof working better than new in no time, and all for a price 84% cheaper than the dealership!!! If you need your sunroof repaired and want great customer service, quality workmanship, and fast results, all at a fair price, look no further than Jay at Texas Auto Accessories! Don t look else where besides Jay for your sunroof needs. Fixed my sunroof on my Camaro in less than a hour. Found one for less than half the cost of the stealership. Saved me a good amount of money and top quality professional installation. He s won a customer for life. Thank you Jay.

Jay got my panoramic sunroof working like new again on 2016 F150. Mine had a busted cable on passenger side. I ordered parts on EBay and he got them installed. Good as new!

Jay's expertise as a sunroof specialist is truly remarkable.After enduring a month-long wait for insurance approval only to be denied and resorting to temporary measures like duct tape to address my broken sunroof, Jay managed to replace the glass and restore it to it s original condition in just a few hours. In contrast, a local body shop had estimated a two-week timeline and significantly higher costs for the same repair. I wish I would have found his info sooner!I wholeheartedly recommend Jay without reservation. His professionalism shines through in prompt communication, diligent follow-ups, and an extensive knowledge of his craft.Hands down, 5 star service.I can confidently say there's no need to search further for auto glass repairs. 10/10 highly recommend. JAY is HONEST, friendly, on time and on budget. GREAT SUNROOF REPAIR ON F150. 85% cheaper than ford dealership and done in 2 hours. Jay also went above and beyond when my 17 year olds truck suddenly quit working in the parking lot. He diagnosed and fixed the problem. It wasn t a major issue for someone who knows what to do but would have cost him a tow and big bucks at Ford.

Went to Texas Auto Accessories with a broken sunroof in my 2017 Ford F250. He jumped right on it as I waited. Let me say, Jay is Awesome! He had it repaired and working perfect in less than an hour, and With reasonable pricing. I will highly recommend Jay! Thanks again!

Amazing customer service and experience. Jay is the best!!! My sunroof is aftermarket and no longer produces parts. Jay made the part from the broken piece I still had!!! It works perfect. It was masterful the way he worked. He definitely has a passion for this and it shows through his work ethic and customer care. Don't look anywhere else. You don't need to. This is the place to go.

Randomly my sunroof was stuck at a tilt and would not close! I tried to see about getting this fixed through the dealership and local shops with no luck due to short handed on lead technicians. I was given this shops number by someone I can't remember. But am so grateful!I called around 830 am Monday morning and was given a confident "sure and how about 1230 appt?" I was on my way and became lost and called the shop to let them know I was lost and a little late (on the other side of town). Was told to still come on in with a happy attitude. When I arrived I was greeted by Lucky their 4 legged door keeper whom is oh so well mannered. Someone asked what they could do for me, I then told them my issue and they immediately went to get Jay from the work area he was in.He then stopped what he was doing and came to the front where I was parked and started to troubleshoot. He was very professional and had an upbeat attitude the entire time which felt like 10 mins but all in all from start to finish was about 30. He not only fixed my problem expeditiously but did it at a great price. If any issues arise he said bring it back without a hesitation. 10 out of 10 recommend this business. Thank you so much!

I went to Texas Auto Accessories and Sunroof Repair based on the excellent reviews, and I was NOT disappointed. Jay. Is. The. Best. I bought a 2014 Ford Explorer Limited a few weeks ago, knew the sunroof wasn't working, and was pretty sure it was the motor that was out. Could've been the switches but what do I know? Jay tested the switches, they were good. He had the old motor out and new motor in, in less than 30 minutes. I expected to wait all day, and understandably would have. Luckily, he wasn't super busy when I stopped by. He's a super nice guy, easy to talk to, friendly and personable, on top of his competitive pricing. I will recommend Jay to anyone who needs sunroof or glass repairs. I feel like I made a friend in Jay, as well as the couple other guys who share the garage. ALL y'all are the best!!!

One of the clips broke off of the sunroof of my 2012 Lincoln MKX last week when opening it. I took it to the dealership and they wanted to charge $3400 for the repair! Found Auto Accessories and Sunroof online and saw all the great reviews so I decided to reach out. And I m so glad that I did! Not only did Jay get me in within two days of calling, but he fixed my sunroof within 2 hours! He also used quality parts made of aluminum vs the cheap plastic that are the norm for Ford OEM parts. His prices are incredibly fair ($600 with a 1-year warranty) and he s just an all-around solid dude. If you have any sunroof issues don t look anywhere else but Auto Accessories and Sunroof - Jay is the best!

Spoke to Jay on a Wednesday about a sunroof not closing on a 2013 Ford Edge. By Friday they were already looking at it and had it repaired by Monday. Ford wanted a fortune and more than a week to get the parts to repair the vehicle. We saved thousands and ended up getting aluminum replacement parts instead of plastic from Ford. Great service and care for customers.

Definitely recommend this company to any and everyone! I took my 2016 Mercedes GLC 300 in to get my sunroof fixed and Jay was able to help me find the part I needed at a reasonable price and also installed that part. My fianc� was in communication with Jay throughout the whole process. He took his time to show my fianc� step by step what needed to get done. He went above and beyond and helped us replace another part that we didn t realize would also need to get replaced at no extra cost. Thank you so much for the great service.

Jay did a GREAT job! I had trouble even finding the glass AND somewhere to replace it. The dealership wanted over $2600 to do the job and said it would take 7 hrs. Jay did it in abt 45 mins and fixed the track and a dent on the roof of my pickup at no extra charge! HIGHLY recommend!

Unbeatable price. Unbeatable service. Jay came out to my home (which is great all on it own) and fixed my F-150 sunroof issue in 1 hour total. I recently had an underwhelming and overpriced experience at the dealership, so this experience was refreshing. I rarely make recommendations but I would feel comfortable recommending him to anyone. Extremely satisfied.

Hands down this place is the spot for sunroof repairs! Jay took care of our Durango sunroof within 15 min. He replaced a broken clip and for what it costed me, I couldn't have even bought a case of beer. I called Jay about my 2011 Ford F150. The sunroof had broken and Jay offered to come out and fix it right in my driveway. I am very busy and have a very hectic work schedule, this was awesome! I scheduled a time and day for Jay to come out and he showed up on time and the work was excellent. Jay is very knowledgeable, polite, and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for sunroof repair! Hands down five star service!

Took my Ford F-150 to get the sunroof repaired, first off the price as compared to dealer pricing was great and the service you get from Jay is excellent. I called Jay last week and he told me that he could have my sunroof fixed same day and in 2hrs, he did it in 1hr and 20minutes. Best of all it came with a 1 yr warranty on labor and 5 yr parts.

Jay does really good work. He was timely with scheduling my appointment and replaced my sunroof in just over an hour. He was friendly, helpful, and professional. The guys at the shop he worked out of were also very helpful and accommodating. I'd recommend both of them to anyone going through private payment or insurance for any auto glass repairs/replacements.

The sunroof on my Ford Expedition needed to be repaired. I called Northside Ford and the were going to charge me $1800!!! I then searched Google and in looking at reviews, no one compared to Jay s reviews! I called Jay and he was available to come to my house the next day to fix my sunroof for A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER! Jay is very professional and the service was excellent! He rebuilt my sunroof in less than two hours! He also explained to me what he would be doing and answered all questions I had. Let me tell you taking an entire sunroof out is not easy task! He had to take the headliner down to get it out! It also came with a 1 yr warranty! I highly recommend Jay!

Awesome work! Jay fixed my sunroof on my Raptor, took time to explain the work and even gave tips to help keep it working great. Most of all he was able to squeeze me in over the weekend. Before I had to go over the road as a truck driver. THANK YOU SO MUCH JAY! 100% recommend

Called Jay on a Sunday and he met me on Monday at noon at my office. Have a Ford F-150 and the sunroof needed to be repaired. His price was way better than the dealer. They wanted about $1,200 bucks and he was $450. He also gives you a warranty. I had thought about trying it myself after watching a few YouTube videos and after watching everything he did and all the parts he replaced, checked and lubricated, I am glad I didn t try it myself. He even cleaned the headliner where I had left a couple of grease stains after looking at it myself. Great service. I had called around and left a few messages and two glass companies recommended him. Oddly, enough he didn t recognize their name so that means he has a good reputation with the glass guys

Took my 2016 F150 to Jay after wasting $200 on a guy who had no clue what he was doing. Jay had my sunroof repaired in about an hour and a half. Jay was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing.I definitely should have gone to Jay, at Texas Auto Accessories and Sunroof Repair first.I %100 recommend this business.

Jay is what I call an exceptional performer. On my 2009 Jaguar my sunroof needed repaired. The price he quoted was several hundred less than what the dealer would charge. On top of that he found the part that I needed for $100. The dealer wanted much more than that. My sunroof is like new again. Now, this is the kicker. My roof had a discrepancy after the repair. Jayfixed it, painted it and it looks new. I would highly recommend Texas Auto Accessories and Sunroof repair, to everyone. I will tell everyone that would listen to go there. The prices and timeliness of repair can't be beat.

I was in town for an event and Jay was able to work me into his schedule to get the sunroof repaired on my F150. I learned that Jay had over 20 years experience in sunroof installation and repair. He was able to get the sunroof repaired and get me back on the road again in less than 2 hours. Jay cares about customers which is obvious to see when you have a chat with him. Jay did a great job fixing the sunroof on my 2010 F-150 he was both friendly and professional, very knowledgeable and completed the repair quickly and correctly and at what I believe to be a fair price! Bottom line is that I was/am completely satisfied with Jay and his work NOT something I am able to say very often. I will certainly call Jay for future needs.

I highly recommend Jay if you need your sunroof fixed. I own a 2011,Toyota Tundra and the sunroof was stuck open. I was worried as I was unable to find any place other than the dealer to work on the sunroof until I found Jay on the web. 5 stars from 90 reviews! And I am 91. He cleaned the motor and had it fixed in no time. It works perfectly again!! He is professional, responsive and his prices are reasonable. I will recommend him to anyone I know who has a sunroof! I needed a new track installed for the sunroof in my Expedition. Jay was 1/4 of the price that the dealership wanted to charge me, and days faster. He did the whole job in two hours. He is great at what he does, I would highly recommend him!
