I was shocked at how I was treated when I told them my brand new vehicle was leaking oil from the drain plug after I got my oil changed here. Instead of just saying, Man, we are sorry. Let s get that fixed for you. they accused me of trying to scam them for a free oil change. Literally the problem could have been fixed in 5 minutes, but no. They went on the defensive and made the problem worse. As I was pulling out the manager said to me, and I quote, I don t want you back here no more. Your wish is my command! I ll find a new place for future oil changes.

I have been coming to this take 5 for years now and have never had a problem. They often try to sell me filters or windshield wipers but nothing out of the ordinary. Recently I went to get my usual service of an oil change and they mentioned that I may need a coolant flush and asked when the last time I had one done was. I mentioned that to my knowledge I had not had one but everything was working well and they recommended I do one since Summer was approaching. As I have been going here for a while I trusted their recommendation and gave them the go ahead. Then a day later my AC stopped working. I am not sure if they are related but it was highly suspicious that the day after receiving this service my AC stopped working. I will no longer be returning to this location as I had to have my entire AC system replaced.

It really does matter when you go at this location!The first time I went there everyone was just so nice and helpful! But I just went there for a top off and they refused to give me one for free because I was a little passed the top off mileage they really kept trying to make get a whole new oil change when I had just gotten one like a month ago! And I get the most expensive one too!So annoying because even tho the dealership s oil change lasts longer in my Audi, I still go to take 5 because I don t have to wait all day. But now it s looking like a better financial decision to just get it at the dealership because the oil lasts longer AND I even get a free wash.

As a former Jiffy Lube customer, this place is a breath of fresh air. Belen and Tim are the best in the business. Kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable about what they do. Offer such amazing deal, you are always greeted with a nice cool bottle of water, which on a hot day is just perfect. Much respect for what you guy do there wish nothing but success for you.Definitely check them out if you need an oil change. So worth it.

Definitely the worst experience while just getting a state inspection. The young man who offered us water as we drove up was great. The young man who took our info for the inspection was very polite. Now the others who were giving instructions to my husband definitely need to take customer service 101. They were rude and had no patience.

It was my visit time every a take 5. I was in and out less than 10 minutes with my inspection. Best Customer Experience I ve seen in a while. Special Shout of to Robert!!

Tim and his crew are the best! The staff has amazing communication among one another and the environment is so positive & liveley! They were so fast and efficient with my oil change, checked my tires, and cleaned my windshield.

Went to get my oil change. It was a little low from what they said. Change the oil for the new air filter in did not replenish the water for the windshield fluid. Did not check my tires but the lady next to me she got all that treatment but I didn t all he did was wipe off my windshield anyway, so I get it for a little bit. He told me to turn it off. They said everything was done, so I m ready to leave. Start the engine start moving forward and there was white smoke coming out from the back, a lot of white smoke, I turned my engine off I turned it back on. Can you tell me to pull back in? They proceeded to add four more quarts of oil in my car oil is probably the oil burning off. It s never happened before ever. Take me down the road about 234 miles. Hopefully the smoke will stop. If not they come back and they will take it to their mechanic will look for them. It did stop when I was already out of San Antonio which is about 20 miles. What I don t understand is why would they have to put them as four more quarts of oil in my car when they just put 6 quarts? I will never go to them again

Went in for a top off, they claimed I was too many miles over their top off policy which is fine, I declined buying the oil and said I'd buy some somewhere else. They did not like that and tried to sell me all sorts of maintenance, most of which was done in the last year but because I got it done at a cheaper mechanic they decided i was lying. When they finally understood that I'm not buying anything and let me leave one of the employees forgot my window was still cracked and called me a "Bum A$$ MF". This definitely turned me off of ever going to a take 5 in the future.

It matters who helps you.Arrived with 2 cars in the bay, 2 waiting. After all of those and an additional 5 went through (including opening a third bay but never allowing me to move) my car was finally in.The little stuff, the tech seemed visibly bothered that I didn't want high mileage oil in my car (actually had to document WHY in writing on my receipt). Is this some scare tactic to make more money? Consumer research agrees this isn't necessary, and while I respect they can offer it - no need to be pushy. He also said my air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced - it was done at my last oil change and I don't drive in dusty conditions - yet another money grab. I declined the cabin air filter before they could get inside the car for the same reason.The big stuff, they left the drain plug a little loose and it made a mess under the car. I smelled the burning oil on my exhaust when I got home. It didn't lose a lot, but it could have if I had not noticed.I usually change my own oil, but I had a coupon and it was cold outside - guess I know better now.

Poor experience on an oil change for VW. The female technician did not know how to remove the air filter and used pliers stripping the screw. In addition, she was underneath the vehicle and blurted out loudly uh oh!! Very concerning. I brought my own oil and filters. I also had a coupon and the manager on duty refused to accept it even though I used the coupon in the past for the same kind of service. He gave me attitude and immediately called his manager stating we don t except coupons for labor.. He carried a tone to try and shrink me down. Not a professional place and definitely didn t treat the customer with respect.

My go to spot for my vehicle. The crew is always friendly polite, joking around with each other but most importantly while doing all this getting the job done right , efficently, and safely. Its impressive how they work here and you can tell they love whqt they do. Management always checks on you makes sure your good before and after and you can see they keep a tight ship but keeping a fun enviroment. It is rare nowadays to find this in a mechanic shop. Come check this place out and youll see what I mean. Keep up the work staff and crew.P.s they all need a raise for all their hard work !!!

Everyone here was super attentive with my vehicle inspection & oil change. I watched as they all had their own duties to take care off. That lady in charge had everyone in check. Definitely will return to this one place. Great job!

*Update* I was in line at Take 5 for 30 minutes until a tech finally saw me. It was probably on purpose because the manager who pulled me in the bay, he/she then took a break and was nowhere to be seen. Best effort they could do was send a ticket to corporate. I ve left messages to corporate and still no response for the past 48 hour. I went to look at the bbb site and just realized they aren t BBB accredited. I will say Robert handled my complaints very professionally and would probably make a great manager someday. Randy Harrison, if you read this, fire your supervisor. He/she probably doesn t need to be working as a manager. Robert would make a better replacement. *update*Terrible customer service. I was 1st in line, while two vehicles were being serviced. They had the third bay closed. A second car came after me and they let them in the third bay. It took 10 minutes to get my inspection done and wiper so can t really complain. But the one star rating is for this particular location for nearly killing me. In the same day, I had to use windshield wipers because of the rain. Guess which blade got off the hinges and basically had me scrambling with no visibility out of 1604. Thankfully I got out of the road safely, but that could have been worse.

Had a great experience at this location! The entire crew that was doing the oil change on my vehicle was awesome! From the moment I drove up, Morton offered me a bottle of water. To driving into the bay, it was awesome seeing the all of the employees with good attitudes and they all seemed to enjoy working with one another, which then translates into good service!I normally do my own oil changes, but this is the location I ll be going back to when I need them done!

I mean this place gets the job done but everytime I go here the customer service is bad. On my last visit, I got Tim and he just had an attitude with us for some reason. I tried to use a coupon that could be used for any oil change and he said that this location would not accept it (which is fine by me). I didn t argue with on it because I understand that every location is different. On our way out though, he called us cheapos for wanting to use the coupon. The whole interaction just rubbed me and my boyfriend the wrong way. All the other reviews about their customer service being bad and unprofessional are right.

Never let them adjust tire pressure. Mine was all set. I figured they could use a little more pressure. I ended up with 31 32 and 34 on both passenger tires. I have never had pressure problems even through extreme heat and 16 degree weather. Everything else was good.

i went to get a oil change and the guy working started off rudely telling me i was thousands of miles past due to which i showed him the sticker and told him i had gotten one not even 3 months prior so i was fine. he then proceeded to tell me i needed a $150 coolant service because i had ZERO coolant my dad had just added coolant not even a week prior and i have never ever had an overheating problem so i asked him if there was a leak suddenly or something, he said no and proceeded to keep telling me i needed it because i had no coolant and i would be stranded on the side of the road if i didn t get it. i left only doing my oil change and checked my coolant right after just to see it was completely full. needless to say i will never be returning to the dezavala location (i have enjoyed my experience at all other locations i have visited).

I love how fast they are! Literally you just sit in your car and they re done in no time. They also clean up my windshield every time I go there. Mostly go there for oil change and vehicle inspection and two times I did coolant flush! Sometimes it takes time because there is line though! Overall I m satisfied by their service.

The cashier/tech that handled my payment and sale was super chill and friendly. Everything else was poor. I asked them not to touch my tires but they didn t listen and over inflated them to 38psi when they should ve been 32-33.

Horrible prices! Carlisle on San Pedro charged me $51.06 for a full synthetic high mileage oil change and Take 5 tried to price gauge me and charge me $103.99 for the same exact service. I also called during business hours to ask someone why they charge so much. Answering service answered, I was hung up on both times I was transferred to the location on DeZavala. I called back and the third time I was placed on hold and was told no one was available to speak with. The employee stated that someone would give me a call back. After giving her my name and number yesterday, I still have not heard from anyone. Thank goodness they did not service my vehicle bc I would be very upset if I had paid so much and can t get anyone to answer a phone or call me back.

They had me start my car before all pieces were back in place from checking air filter causing my check engine light to come on. They then sent me to Auto Zone to have the code read. Returning with the code, they said my air filter being too dirty (it was changed 6 months before) had caused the sensor to need to be replaced. They said it wasn t from what they did. After taking it in the next day it was in fact them having me start my car with the cover not fully in place that caused the issue. Very frustrating and very disturbed by them trying to push things (issues or possible issues onto females) who don t know so much about cars. I will seek out other places in the future for my oil changes.

I hate to see a perfectly business just go down hill in every aspect. From the quality of work, to the integrity some of these employees present. I experieced today false information about what was done to my truck and when i confronted the manager Timothy he got loud and talked over me. Number one, never trust that the oil you paidis what you are getting. Number two they are supposed to check and top off yourcoolant and windshield fluid... not happenned in my last 3 visits.... and the excuse is the same " we have new people"!!!but the prices keep going up? And less quality?...So disappointed.Poor leadership, lack of integrity and low quality.... all the key components to go out of business in no time!!!.Please dont put your car through this ..
