Best place I have ever been , smart Techicians ( RICK) is really good at his job and he deserve a big raise. The TA store one mile from here they are very bad and don t ever try to go there , they kept me for 7 hours and they didn t managed to untie the lug nuts (7 hours ) and I left with disappointment . Always go to Petro because they are always better than TA

Took trailer in for an alignment, mechanic was complaining about my Milwaukee lifts being in the way, then asked if I wanted to reuse the non reusable bolts when I had new ones, assuming so he didn't have to change them. I could tell he didn't want to do it, I had a crate with some equipment on board he saw when I was getting the new bolts out so they refused to do the alignment because I'm loaded saying it's a warranty issue. My shop manager said to do I said to do it it's not a safety issue just do your job take my money. In 32 years of driving I've always had equipment on board when getting an alignment, I'm not bringing it back under warranty unless the axle slides back a foot lol. Won't be back to this shop, what's next can't do an oil change cause the oils too hot?

This is what a truck driver left beside my truck.. How he managed to aim in this cup is beyond me.. Good restaurant though..I don't use public restrooms but we have portable pottys smh

They have an awesome restaurant call Black Bear . Waiters are awesome . Food is great especially the corn bread great job guys. Especially to the cooks.

Ridiculously OVERPRICED store was dirty, bathroom atrocious smelly and nasty, I ve been driving for 35 years and I can t remember a T/A ever being in that condition

Stopped a DOT mid trip inspection. Service writer got me into a bay asap. Tech Luis was very professional in his job. Nice to see someone as young as him, taking pride in his work. Only reason that it was a long process was waiting on my company to approve some needed work to stay DOT Compliant.

07/19/2022 checkin time: 05:00pm. This place is terrible. I do not recommend you to come for repair.Old woman and second young women in the service section are extremely rude and have no clue about customer service.It only took 7 hours to change the oil. I asked them if they accept efs for payment but they didn't answer. They continued to talk among themselves.They also slandered my wife saying that she spoke badly about themselves. These people are unprofessional and pathetic.Never again!Service: Oil change

Im the first 1 into the shop for a tire repair. While i go take a quick shower i come back to the truck and there working on a different truck replacing his airline. 2.5 hours later and still waiting. This will be the last time i fuel here not to mention the shop.

Emily was extremely kind and courteous. Really wish we truck drivers could always be able to have such good people to be able make our day. Faculty is pretty good to. But the people make it so much better.

Great place to park. One negative thing I did experience was that I paid for a parking spot and parked at the last slot by the highway and in the morning there was another truck parked next to me in the same slot. There was other parking slots available.

They have 2 pool tables,good place overall. The black bear Diner should be open by now I hope.

Good for people traveling has fast food and most have a restaurant it is known for the commercial truck industry can get truck worked on and tires for big trucks. Check hours of operation some may not be open 24 hours. For truck service they don't do major work.

This place is freaking horrible!!!. I got here labor day with low air pressure on my "pete " and I'm still here three freaking days later.the night crew ain't worth a dam "angelo" the night mgr left me hanging he didn't do anything to my trk yesterday in the afternoon. it's taking 3 days to change an air compressor. If it weren't for " jr" the day mechanic my trk would still be sitting here with no air compressor. Stay away from this place drivers.!!!

On the date of November 9, 2020 the 2nd Female service writer was extremely rude .. I have been going to this location for 4 years and never had any problems.. I was first lied to about warranty work.. Then when I asked the mechanic to stop with the work on my truck cause I was thinking I was being taken advantage of the service writer walked away with a attitude.. I was very professional even though I was treated with absolutely no respect at all.. I normally bring my truck into the morning shift but they could not get me in.. And this happens.. After 4 years I can honestly say I will never come there again cause I don t trust the service anymore and the rude actions that were shown towards me..

Petro on Akerman Rd in San Antonio bad customer service at the truck service desk at 10:00 pm 5/18/21 . I just asked if I could put my trailer for a service because my ABS light came on and I need to fix that, I know is a sensor that is out of adjustment is an easy job but I need to fix it . Ok going back to the point the front desk old lady was upset because one customer forgot something to do before he leaves and she was complaining about it and when I asked for a service she was kind of rude and she told me that my waiting time could be one hour or more unless a bomb hit the mechanics shop and nobody were there to fix my problem. P.s. I don't know why they complain if we pay for a service , isn't for free free free. One more thing if you don't like tour job just quit.

Balancing 2 front tires cost me 126.01. I asked before hand, how much was it to balance 2 steer tires and they specifically said 35 plus tax. Everyone I know charges 35 each tire except Beasley tires at 26.99. Anyhow, who charges for labor and weights when balancing tires.. I thought it would be included in the 35 like everyone else does. I called 3 prominent tire companies and none charged this excessively like TA on Ackerman. I'm very disappointed that they are being greedy and they just lost a customer. I usually bring my truck here for alignments but that's the last time I deal with conniving companies. That's bad buisness, no one should pay extra for labor or weights if needed for tires. Ridiculous !!!!Update: After speaking with the manner they came to a conclusion that they did over charge me by 40 dlls and were nice enough to refund me the funds.Service: Tires

My company uses their repair shop for our breakdown needs. Usually there a long wait at any of the ones I've been to but thankful for the travel centers always
