Took my car to this location because I was having issues with engaging into drive and I read online that they work on transmissions; I read that good transmission flush would be the first thing to do so they told me that a fluid flush would cost $229 and they said it would be ready by noon. I received a call at 1 pm notifying that sensor needed to be replaced so I approved the work because they are the professionals, I picked the car almost three days later to find out that my vehicle was still not working. They told me to "just put it on first gear and give it gas and once it's in second gear it will engage and it would drive fine". Next day I did as was instructed but now my car is not engaging at all. I paid over $800, I called other shops to get other estimates and told them about my situation and they said that they should have not charged me because issue was still not solved they did refund me $342 for parts but I feel I should have been refunded all the amount due to the fact my vehicle is not in working condition, NOW I AM LEFT WITHOUT A VEHICLE, OUT ALMOST $500 AND RIDING MY BICYCLE TO WORK.

The gentleman working the office were very helpful and friendly. They were able to work with my warranty company to get the service I needed!! This was my first time using this shop, needless to say I will return for any other work needed for my vehicles.

It's always stressful for my family to take either of our vehicles to the shop. Two working adults, one of which is also in night school, and 2 elementary age kids mean we need both our vehicles working 100% of the time. Alas, one of our vehicles reached a point where we had no choice but to bring it to a shop. With this vehicle being just shy of 150,000 miles and near the end of the extended warranty we bought from carmax, we recalled getting some work done at sun auto a couple years ago and being pleased with the experience, so I gave them a call today when we had family watching both kids.William stepped up and, even though I hadn't told him about the kids and our need for both cars, he got our car straight in the shop for a diagnosis. About 4 hours later, we got a call from William- our extended warranty had covered $1900 of the work we needed done, all that was left was brakes on the front, which would cost us about 400. Needless to say, this was a huge relief to us. Our Jeep Compass was only in the shop for 5 hours when we were expecting it to be *days*.Sun auto is about a 30 minute drive from where we live today, but it's hard to beat the speed and accuracy of the work they have done for us so far. We'll be happy to continue being customers here.

My first accident was very scary but Sun Auto Service made it so much easier and smoother to get me back on the road! Always been scared of auto shops, but we found our forever home for our car. Excellent customer service, was willing to work with my schedule and situation, and Mario specifically couldn't have been more helpful! Almost couldn't tell the car was damaged. A++++

I highly recommend Sun Auto Services to anyone having work needing to be done on their car. 5 o clock in the evening a few days ago my car had a mechanical failure out of seemingly nowhere, and I barely managed to get it to the shop. Less than 24 hours later, they had identified the problem, and fixed it up as good as new.They went above and beyond by sending pictures of the faulty parts in question, Mario specifically made sure someone showed me where said parts were located on my car should I ever have an issue again. They exceeded in both patience and professionalism, and should I have issues in the future I will absolutely be returning to them for help.

Mario did an awesome job getting me in for an dmv inspection. I got there and I felt welcomed! Mario thank you so much for the great customer service and wonderful attitude. Stores needs more people with attitudes like yourself. Great job sir from the navy family and my crew from San Diego Ca!

Mr. Mario and Mr. William were amazing. The team was friendly and understanding. I really appreciate everything that they did for me and my car is running like I just got it off the lot. I just moved to San Antonio they are now my mechanics officially. I will go nowhere else to get my car worked on and that includes for oil changes. We all know how hard it is to find a good mechanic and if you are looking for one this is the place.

I brought my car in for the first time for an oil change and William was very kind and helpful knowing my concerns about my vehicle. he assured me that the shop would take great care of the oil change and whatever else i needed to have a safe car.i love that i didnt feel swindled as i came into the shop by myself. no one tried to sell me on anything i didnt need. it was only as i took my keys that the technician mentioned i should consider a battery replacement.i felt taken care of and that i could trust my car s services to this location. i will recommend this shop again and again. i drove my car out of the garage and it felt like new.

They are awesome. I purchase 4 tires with a warranty. And they have never given me a problem with repairing 2 of my tires. I love Sun Auto on West avenues. The staff is amazing amazing.

The Manager, Mario and the desk clerk, Kegan, went above and beyond. Mario explained, in detail, what repairs were needed and what their recommendations were. No pressure whatsoever. Kegan made sure I got home and was picked up without any issues. My car was ready when told it would be and is running better than ever. I will definitely be using SunAuto for all of my vehicle needs--including oil changes. I HIGHLY recommend Sun Auto Service on West.

These guys really helped me out! Of course, my truck would have a problem on Black Friday . This place was busy but Mario stopped what he was doing and listened to my concern. He even wrote down a few notes!!! He gave me honest feedback, a realistic wait time, and reassured me "we'll take good care of you." It might not seem like a big deal but their well stocked Keurig in the waiting area provided me with some refreshing stress relief.

Went here to get my car looked at. They quoted me over 1700 to get 2 CV axels fixed. Took it to a different shop and it s only 1 axel that s broke. Costed me $450 total for the labor and the part.I would stay as far away from this place as you can! If they would have been honest and did good business I would have referred all my friends to them.

I'm very grateful for Mario, the shop manager who took care of me. I went in for oil change but I knew I needed additional work on my car and he was able to help me not only take care of my car but workedwith my budget within my budget so I'm so appreciative of that and I'll definitely be back

Mario and William were extremely helpful and courteous. They listened to what I wanted to have done and gave me multiple options for performance and to meet my budget. Will definitely be coming back here for all my automotive needs. They are also very considerate of military members. As a female, I always worry about taking my car to a mechanic and getting overcharged. I want to say I do not have to worry about that here. The staff are friendly and considerate! My husband and I will only take our cars to Sun Auto!!

I had a very good experience this was my first time there Homer changed my oil I spoke to William before I went over there when I got there I was greeted by William he took care of me he was nice made me feel comfortable before I knew it my oil change was done I would definitely recommend this to family and friends thank you guys for doing a great job keep up the good work and thank you for your politeness and your hospitality God bless

Good service from Mario and William. They explain everything what the guys are going to do and that the text they send about the issues I have a problem with the car and shows the problem by taking pictures which is great. Feel comfortable and trustworthy with the guys.

They said they put a new starter in my car. But i think thats false. They had my car for 3-4 days. And i paid money. Just for my car to return in the same condition. They told me they dont work on transmissions but on their website it says that they do. I honestly think my car never got looked at and just sat at their shop for 3 days then told me they put a new starter in and charged me for it. But my old one is still in my car. I got tooken advantage of and thats sad. I just wanted my car fixed. Why would you lie and say you replaced something when they didnt.

Had my pickup in for new brakes, they gave a decent quote. While doing the job I received pictures and comments via texts about worn parts etc. they finished the job on time and I will return for any work needed in the future.
