My husband found Steelbodywork last year after purchasing a used Fiat 500. The vehicle had some issues Roger fixed the misaligned passenger door and reattached the side skirt which was loose. Excellent work! Additionally, the vehicle was drifting to the left from the beginning. My husband made numerous visits to the local Fiat dealership as well as an independent repair shop. After replacing a few suspension components and many alignment jobs, the vehicle was still drifting to the left. After Roger performed an alignment and reset the steering sensor, the vehicle finally tracks normally!! Recently, I got rear-ended. Steelbodywork handled the insurance repairs. They made the process so easy, and the repair work was impeccable!!! Thank you!!! Roger and Nadin listen to your concerns with genuine interest and try to address them with their expertise, honesty and excellent communication. A breath of fresh air

Nadine and Roger are the best! Every time I have an issue with my car I bring it to them. They are super fast and great at what they do. I'm so glad I can finally have someone who I trust fix my car. This is the only shop I trust to work on my 68 Camaro! I found Steelbodywork after having a bad experience with another classic car speed shop in town. Roger and Nadin are responsive, friendly and they truly care about delivering quality work. Finding a trustworthy and knowledgeable shop for classic cars is tough in SA. We are very fortunate to have SteelBodywork!

Roger and Nadine just fixed an axle leak on my 65 Mustang and a very difficult to find vac leak on a 68 Mustang that was keeping the power breaks from working. Super impressed with their knowledge, trouble shooting skills, and responsiveness. You will also find them really honest and nice. All my classic car work is going to them from now on.

Amazing experience throughout! One of the toughest challenges a car owner faces is finding a mechanic or shop you can trust. Roger restored the engine lid of my classic Porsche 911 to better than new after a recent rear-end collision. Nadin kept me informed of the progress through via text and pictures. Roger even took the time to repair an electrical issue that has bugged me for years giving me renewed peace-of-mind. As someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars its super important to have somewhere to go that I can trust, and this is it!! Steelbodywork have never led me astray, I've gotten quotes from other places and they can never beat their prices! Excellent service and work! This shop is the best! Have an older 1989 Firebird and issues starting. Other shops were like it will be a couple of months to look at it . But Roger took my car in, diagnosed, fixed the issue (fuel pump short, had to drop fuel tank) and has me back on the road in a couple id days!! And Nadin kept me in the loop with text and pictures as well as cost at all times. This shop is the best, and reasonably priced as well as very friendly and knowledgeable! This is my second review for Steelbodywork and after 2 years on a waiting list to have my 1970 Chevelle restored, I finally got the call last year that they were ready to start the restoration. I picked Steelbodywork because I have personally seen the professional work done by Roger at Steelbodywork and wouldn't trust my "BABY" to anyone else. A special thank you to Nadine for tracking down the hundreds of parts and making sure they were available when Roger needed them; and to Roger's assistant, David, for all his help Throughout the entire restoration; they kept me updated & sent pictures every step of the way, always consulted with me and obtained my approval when there was more than one way to proceed. Please take a look at the pictures I've posted here and on there website, also take a look at the other projects they have done. The complete restoration is truly professional and if you are thinking about an antique vehicle restoration; don't hesitate contact them today. A GREAT shop to take you car. Met Roger at a car show and when I saw his 69 Charger I knew I had to take my Charger to him. Roger is very honest, he drove my car, put it on the rack and looked everything over. He showed me what needed to be replaced, gave me recommendations and gave me exact pricing. My car is now faster, much more stable and the transmission finally stopped leaking! Highly recommend STEEL BODY WORK. Steelbodywork/Kayser s Automotive Service is the best, and most trustworthy, garage and bodyshop in San Antonio. I trusted them with my vintage 1961 Ford Thunderbird. They rebuilt my front end, installed a entirely new exhaust system, properly aligned and mounted my radial tires and chrome wire rims, attached a far better functioning battery and basically gave me the ride I've always wanted in my dream car. They did everything so quickly, and their work so far exceeded my expectations that I will never take my family's four vehicles anywhere else. Our other cars are from 2012-2014 and Steelbodywork can do whatever we need, regardless of make, model, or age. Take your Classic Car here or take your daily driver. Roger, Bryan, and Nadine are the most professional and trustworthy people I ever met in the auto business. I trusted them with my Classic Car, you can trust them with your car too.

I am very glad I brought my Mustang here! The repairs were done well and my car was finished earlier than I expected. I was super happy to hear that a broken panel on my door that had been bothering me for ages was patched up, that was awesome. They did a great job on my '77 f150 ranger, they fixed her quick professionally. she was leaking a quart of oil every hundred miles and the when the power steering pump went out i took her in to see the guys at kaysers/steelbody, only too have the work finished in less than a weeks time. they replaced the PS pump some tubing all my seals and gaskets, and even replaced a upper radiator hose that was bloated on the house. they washed out my engine bay (after taking the engine out) and cleaned/painted my motor too top it off.tldr; great people who stand by their work and smart at diagnosing the issue at hand.

I had such a great experience here. Not only was Nadin on top of updates, Roger was efficient and quick to find the problem. No unnecessary repairs, just strait to the fix that was needed. He even fixed a seperate repair that needed to be done. I was looking for a new mechanic to take care of my '69 fastback and I feel my search is over. Steel Bodywork is my new Go To auto shop! Roger and Nadine did an amazing job giving my 1968 Pontiac Firebird the much needed TLC to get her back on the road and running better than ever. They were extraordinarily flexible and patient with all my needs. Roger and Nadine are extremely knowledgeable and they take the time to explain the repairs in great detail and keep you informed along the way. Steelbodywork is a phenomenal shop and the best in San Antonio! They're very friendly, nice-people that are extremely knowledgeable, and provide speedy affordable service. I came into the shop and was greeted with a big-bright smile by Nadin. I told her what was going on and how I believed that my alternator went bad according to a previous diagnosis that I had received elsewhere. She reassured me that everything was going to be okay and we would figure out what exactly was going on. She has a really good energy and aura which made me feel very welcomed!! She informed her husband Roger what was going on and he diagnosed what the problem was right away! Nadin was very attentive and kept me informed through the process. She ordered the part and texted me as soon as the part arrived from the dealership which did not take long at all. Roger instantly fixed the issue within 30 minutes and I was good to go!! I was extremely ecstatic at the service I received. They're an attentive, courteous shop, and I 100% trust them! They know what they're doing and they get it done the right way. Steelbodywork is the ONLY automotive shop I will forever continue to take my vehicles to!!

Steelbody Auto is a family owned business. They have high standards when it comes to repairs and it brings me peace of mind. One of their standards are if something came in and they had to take it apart, even if it came in assembled all wrong they put it back the correct way. Not like other shops I ve had experience where they put it back the way it came in or not at all. Master Mechanic Roger and his assistant David are absolute experts and take pride in their craft. They show you the problem and give you options. Nadine is the heart of the business. She is so friendly and always smiling. Gives me great service and sets expectations with wait times and quotes on future repairs so that I can save up. I have a 2005 and I don t want to get a new car. My car has been in great hands and the prices are affordable and realistic. Friendliest shop I have ever been to! Extremely honest and caring as well. They won t fix anything unless you give then your consent and are upfront if they are not sure. I appreciate having the choice. They replaced my control arm, a tire and have done my alignment too and everything is driving super smoothly now. Nadine is the best.
