This place is great. I took my car in on a wednesday to get it bagged and had it home on Saturday. Very nice people. I'm happy with it.

Stay away, vehicle was left for over a month to have a fuel tank replaced, mechanic agreed on work total and then later back tracked on the agreed upon amount that was financed. He stated a part was defective on vehicle needing replacement, I provided another 150 for the broken part to be replaced, a week later he stated it was defective and refused to refund the money for the part in which I provided to complete the job, he kept the difference stating that the job was more work than as originally planned after stating he would be able to complete in 2-3 days and that it was non refundable.Had to have the vehicle towed back to my house where I found he broke the part and tried soldering it and that he didn't complete the repair leaving everything unbolted and loose, not to mention my exhaust is not connected and missing the gasket and bolts, also my emergency brake was broken with loose tools and missing pieces on the parts. Seats were loose in the rear, fuel pump loose along with fuel sending units..... He stated it would take to 2-3 days and had this vehicle for well over two months! I paid for two vehicles up front and it took him two months to finish the first car and originally the first car was supposed to be done then bring the second one in, but the first was in a disaster why would I bring the second car ? I asked for a refund on the second car and he charged a restock fee when there is nothing listed on the paper work of which I signed.

I reached out to Silvahaus on IG. Being new to Texas, I didn t know of any suspension shops. I was looking to have my air suspension removed and have coil overs installed. I messaged them exactly that and was quoted $1000.00 dollars. There were no surprises, I was transparent on what I needed done. I was scheduled to drop my car off on a Friday around 1pm, and would pick it up the next day, Saturday. I ended up dropping my car off on Friday morning at 9 am, thinking it would give them more time. While there he did message me stating that he was unable to find my wheel lock key, which I knew was in my vehicle. I asked if I needed to come down there to which he told me no. He has a tool and he would get them off. That was the end of that conversation. Saturday came and went. I got a text message at 2 pm telling me they were closing for the day and I would need to pick my car up on Monday. I had already had prior plans and needed my car back. I explained this to him (as I was told I would have my car back). He stayed and finished my car. I asked him what I owed him so I could pay him. He proceeded to tell me $1645. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I asked him why such a difference in cost from what I was quoted. I was told that the coilovers install alone was $1000, which is interesting because I was transparent from the being about what I needed done. I was also charged $250 for the wheel lock removal, which I was never told there would be a charge for.When I went to pick my car, my car was extremely low to the ground, a lot lower than what I had asked for. I went to leave and my tires were still rubbing on my fender. He fixed that and I left. I came back the following weekend to have him adjust all the coilovers to get me much higher. He said he would do this at no cost which is why I returned. I left the car with him for the same amount of time as the prior weekend. I had to message him again on Saturday because I had not heard from him. When I showed up, my car looked no different than it did when I dropped it off. It was still extremely low. I was just irritated and unhappy so I left.I am now at a different shop getting everything looked at only to find out that the coilovers are not maxed out (no where near). I feel like I was completely taken advantage of. Doesn t help that i m a female. I m not only out the money I paid him to do this job originally but I am paying someone else to do the job correctly.Would not recommend anyone come here for any work.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

Knowledgeable and friendly however labor prices are through the roof. Went in wanting to get a quote on a leak and a noise on one of my air bags, came out the next day spending $700 just to get the leak repaired (didn t get the noise fixed) and other unrequested things were done that mechanic claimed necessary . Additionally mechanic didn t realize I was missing a part so I had issues afterwards so to my luck I had to spend another $300 on parts and labor afterwards. With some minor issues still going, I won t go back as I m not looking forward to more costs. Would not recommend shop unless you got money to spare or are close with the owners (family and friends get better pricing most likely)Service: Steering & suspension repair

Very positive experience with the Silva's. They have been more than accommodating and helpful in the repairs needed for an Audi that I purchased. I shopped around and interviewed import mechanics all over the San Antonio area and went with Silvahaus bc they come highly recommended, they were honest about the pricing of parts and really looked out for my interest as well as they're own! The labor pricing and labor itself couldn't have been better quality. I have been around shops and mechanics for as long as I can remember so I can verify these folks are good!
