This is one of the best repair facilities in San Antonio, great mechanics, and the owners are very philanthropic and up San Antonio people you would be proud to know, Let alone let them touch your precious car! Took my commuter 01 toyota sienna in because engine was misfiring. Matthew was very personable and took down my contact info. They took the time to trouble shoot several times to diagnose and repair the issue. It's been 3 weeks and engine is running smoothly. While I wouldn't get oil changed ( kinda pricey) there, I'd definitely take my car back for serious issues. They even sent me a card thanking me for my business with a magnet.

Automotive issues are simply the worst! Seymour's Garage to the rescue. Everything they do is so professional, from explaining issues to fabulous customer service. They even delivered a loaner car to my office. They have been a taking care of my cars for over 15 plus years. I highly recommend Seymour's Garage.

I can t speak more highly of this family owned business and their staff. I had taken my 2012 Honda to a friend for years and when I needed to find a new mechanic, Seymour s Garage had great reviews and I m glad I took my car there. One of the owner s, Matt was my point of contact from the beginning and was great the whole time and was very straightforward and honest. He took time to explain things and educate me. The whole staff was friendly, they had shuttle service and quickly completed my repairs. Definitely will be a returning customer!

Words can t explain how greatful I am, everyone was super nice and very helpful. Joe was amazing! Even when a I had a small meltdown due to my on going truck issues (which definitely not their fault, if anything they FIXED IT) They have definitely gained a new customer and will refer anyone who needs their expertise. We were in and out within maybe 30 minutes or so. Oh and that sweet puppy was a plus. Highly recommended Service: Transmission repair

Appreciate this guys so much, took my truck in and tried to find a solution to why it was overheating, Unfortunately remains a mystery still, but they provided great service. As well as picked me up and dropped off my truck. If you want some honest mechanics check them out

100% recommend them, they are top notch and they will fix your car they correct way !!they are not going to lie to you and they are professionalsdo not worry at all about how the place look like, do not fool for fancy coffee machines, they do have coffee and bottle water toothey even have a very lovely dog that will play with you, while you waitingplease do not waste your money and time looking, this place knows how to do it and fix it right

We send a lot of our company & personal vehicles to Seymour's. They are Pro's. Since we need our trucks moving Matt & Joe expedite our needs & repairs promptly with straight forward talk on the issues.It is nice to have a neighborhood, family owned mechanic and all the employees treat you with great service and hospitality like back in the day how I remember it used to be. I will be a lifetime customer. No reason to go anywhere else. Thanks again, Seymour's for all you do for us.

This place was amazing! My Volkswagen Jetta AC went out right as it was getting horribly hot and humid here in Texas. I contacted Seymour's, spoke with Joe the whole time and he was amazing as well. He was kind, clear and told me everything straight up. When I was told that I'd have to get my compressor replaced, he did the research and told me about my different options and the costs. He even went as far to tell me what would really be worth it according to what I was asking and looking for. Once I made the decision to go with Seymour's, the service was crazy fast. I dropped my car off at 8 AM and it was done by like 12 PM. They also delivered my car to me at my office at the end of the day so I didn't have to find a way back to the garage! They offer financing options. My AC is now blowing stronger than ever and I couldn't be more grateful. My experience with them was great the whole time! Definitely take your car to Seymour's Garage for fast and reliable auto needs!

Seymour has been the auto repair garage I wish I knew about years ago and I am very grateful now to have professionals taking care of all of my automotive/ truck repair needs. Everyone from administration to automotive specialists are respectful, professional and take the time to ensure your service needs are met. If you are woman and feel hesitant because you have experienced the differences in treatment between men and women when working with auto repair shops...look no further. Seymour Garage are professionals and will work with you honesty and respect. Top notch shop.

I ve been using Seymour s for my vehicles for years and they are honest, thorough, and have a top-tier staff of experts that is unrivaled. Matt is always available to answer questions and provide knowledge and feedback.They never throw in unnecessary service or charges like a dealership and make sure to explain what they re doing and why they re doing it so you have full knowledge of what s going on at all times.I often have Joe work on my vehicles and he s an absolute master at his craft. Everything is done with utmost care and precision that you just don t find anywhere else. Jason has also helped me with performance-based upgrades and concerns for one of my vehicles and he is another expert that is always cordial, honest, and really has a passion for what he does.There isn t another shop like this in San Antonio so if you need service and you aren t well-versed in mechanical issues and you don t want to be led on or ripped off, this is the place for you!

I was given Seymour s Garage, by Hill Country 4x4, as a great shop to take my 2015 Jeep Wrangler in for rocker arm issues and I cannot thank them enough!!My experience with Seymour s was by far the best I have ever received from an auto mechanic shop. They were professional from beginning to end. They listened to me explain the issue with my Jeep, they provided their opinion and gave me a lot of information on the issue and gave me recommendations. They gave me options and let me decide on how to move forward.I was going out of town for two weeks, and thought I wouldn t get my jeep back in time. They provided quotes and once I made the decision they got to work immediately.My jeep is back to its normal self and just in time to leave for my 2 weeks vacation, thanks to the gentlemen at Seymour s. Will always bring it to them if I ever need them again (I hope not tho lol) but I will if I have to!!Thank you so much!!

When my A/C stopped working, I took my vehicle to two other shops. They were a huge waste of time.The first one was friendly but told me that it was too complicated and they weren t able to get back into where the evaporator is to find the leak.The second place (dealership) was going to charge me $1200 to JUST GET A DIAGNOSTIC! And they were rude about it. I went and picked up my vehicle and took it to Seymour s. Definitely should have gone there first!The guys there were all friendly, professional, and honest. From the beginning, they told me each step they were taking and kept me updated on what it would cost and how long it would take. They fixed my A/C and brought my car to me!It s worth mentioning that in the process of fixing my a/c, they had to remove my entire dashboard. A small piece of trim got cracked in the process. They were very professional and nice when I pointed it out. They ordered the part and replaced it free of charge.Seymour s stands by their work and if something isn t right, they make it right.I ll definitely bring my vehicle here for future repairs!Service: Air conditioning

On New Year's Eve (Thursday), my family was on the way home to Fort Worth when our sunroof broke. We were going to encounter rain and storms along our drive and our sunroof was stuck wide open. We stopped by a dealership to see if they could help and we were told they could not get to us until Monday. Luckily, we found Seymour's! They were wonderful! Since we were headed out of town, they weren't able to make the repair but they were able to get our sunroof closed to protect us on the drive. They allowed us to borrow a vehicle, recommended a place for lunch, and fixed our expedition while we ate. Finding them was such a blessing! They treated my family better than we ever could have imagined. I cannot thank them enough for making sure we were taken care of and had a safe, dry trip home.

Had exhaust work done in my f350 diesel truck.Service is awesome. I saved money, staff is courteous professional and knowledgeable.Business is honest up front and professional. Mark is very knowledgeable and true to his word. When he say he ll save you, money he does! I had DEF issues with my 6.7 power stoke and he went over and beyond to get my truck on the road working like a champ! With out replacing all of the exhaust system like other shops offered as a solution.Very transparent way of doing business, the way all businesses should run.Thank you team Seymour!!Service: Auto exhaust system repair

If I could give Seymour s Garage a 10 star review I certainly would. Matthew and his team bailed me out of a big ordeal when Red Mcombs Toyota did not use anti seize on my lug nuts. Mathew immediately got me in and worked on it and charged me a super fair fair price for the work. You guys gained a customer for life, I ll never go any place else Im always happy to support a family business that s built on integrity.

I would give 10 stars if I could. I have never had such a positive experience with an autoshop. I worked directly with Joe, who was absolutely amazing, but everyone I spoke with was extremely polite and very friendly. Joe was honest and completely on top of things, getting my repairs done in a very timely manner while keeping in communication with me every step of the way. Throughout the entire process, they made sure I was taken care of, even offering to get me a ride, a loaner and even deliver my vehicle upon completion. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else moving forward and I will absolutely recommend Seymour's to everyone I know!

It s been several months since I used Seymour s garage to repair the AC blower turning on and off intermittently. They recommended replacing the blower motor after I had already explained to them that it turns on and off if a wire under the dashboard is wiggled. So, after paying hundreds of dollars, I still have the same issue. I m posting the review now, cause I forgot to post it months ago and the problem persists.Also, when I locked up the vehicle, the windshield wiper fluid sprayer no longer worked. They told me the motor probably went out. Nope. After hours of trouble shooting and online research. I found that they had swapped out the blower motor relay with the wind shield wiper relay. I fixed that issue myself.I wanted to press them to make things right with the AC and refund me for the blower motor and actually fix the issue, but I lost any trust I had with this company because they seemed to not be careless in their work and got very short tempered with me on the phone when I did initially being up my concerns.I normally do not write reviews, but I want to warn people, because I lost over $1,400 with this company, and I don t want others to do the same

I am very happy about they did on my son s car AC. It sure was not inexpensive, but it was worth it with this heat. Knowing my son was driving to work in AC. I had not tried it out until he drove me to a appointment the other day and it was blowing cold after 6-8 weeks and they guaranteed their work. I was told been in business a very long time so I am glad i trusted them and very happy outcome

I have found a home for my auto repair. The service was excellent. My dead vehicle was towed in. The team checked her out and resolved the problem. They were then returned it to me. They were professional, fair in price, excellent knowledge to work on my foreign car. Took my Buick in for a diagnostic and then later for the repair. Normally I like to get a second opinion but this time I didn't even feel like I needed to. They had great service and pricing is fair. They even delivered my car to me and gave me a ride home at drop off- super convenient. They did a fantastic job and she is running beautifully now!

Did research on who I wanted to work on my vehicle. I came across Seymour s garage. I went to go speak with them about my car. I was advised they would not only service what was required but would check the car overall. It was found I needed a front wheel hub. I had the hub and transmission fluid changed. The service was great and I was very happy with my experience at this shop. I will definitely go back for my automotive needs.

My wife's car was towed to Seymour's after hours one night after it had totally died on the interstate. They got to it as fast as they could considering it was a Friday. When they did get a chance to look at it, it ended up being a very simple fix. It did take them some time just to get into the car since there was no power to it and it couldn't move. Because it was, in their professional opinion, a simple fix, they took care of it for free. I can't explain how honest and full of integrity that is. They could have easily billed me for any time they spent on it but they didn't. They have definitely earned my business from now on. I won't go anywhere else or trust anyone else. Honesty and integrity is definitely hard to come by in the automotive world.Service: Auto battery maintenance

I love this auto shop. As a woman it is extremely hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but the crew here makes me feel that my car is in the best hands. Number one shop in San Antonio in my opinion.

DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY!!!! Spent almost $9,000 for an engine that died after 1k miles. Refused to honor warranty. Had to retain attorney before getting replacement engine. Pursuing legal action to recover costs and punitive damages.

Heard great things about them for years, but never felt comfortable having a non - BMW cert mechanic: although in hindsight, they probably are.Then I lost A/C in July. I honestly thought it was a fuse, so why not check them out. It wasn't a fuse - but they thoroughly explained my options and assoc costs. Ten minutes later, I'm getting a ride to my house, with assurances that it'd be done and delivered to my home that day. Wow! That's a lot to promise, but these guys came through. Thank you very much for such a great job from everyone I encountered at Seymour's. They really have a way of garnering trust and making you feel like family - treated with respect.Services: Electrical, A/C installation & repair
