Great services! I m a DIY guy with my son when it comes to cars but many times I ve come across things were unable to do. Sergeant Clutch has always pulled through for us! They give us their best recommendations and always exceed expectations. They even find things we weren t aware of and complementary grease bushings to help. And this isn t just one visit, they have helped us with multiple vehicles, foreign and domestic. I have complete confidence in them and their services. Their staff is absolutely amazing! This past tuesday(01/09/24), I walk into this place told them I had a transmission problem. Since I m not a transmission expert nor was my mechanic, they wanted to do their own diagnosis. 3 hours later they said it wasn t my transmission. They claimed it was some bearing leading from the axle to the transmission. The cost to make the repair was nearly $1500 and they wanted to change the transmission oil ( the up-sell). So the charge was $2030 or there about. He said he d have it ready by Thursday. I reluctantly agreed. Thursday afternoon I called for an update and they said the repair was made but the issue wasn t fixed and they now believe that it s the transmission and it s a $9000 fix. This transmission expert took 3 hours and was wrong. My mechanic took 10 mins to let me know I had a bad transmission and the cheapest solution was to take it to a transmission guy to see if it could be re-built.. I say that to say, I think they knew it was a transmission issue off the bat but knew there would be no money to be made by admitting it. Instead they sold me a lie that would guarantee they made some money.I told them I rather buy a new vehicle than spend $9000 plus $2000(a repair I didn t need). I went to pick up my vehicle and they never even apologized for misdiagnosing my vehicle. They behaved like they made the repair and I m just here to pick up my vehicle. Any genuine businessman would at least apologize to his customer for such a costly error. They did not and I had to ask if there was any type of reduction because of their error. This guy literally knocked off the $99 diagnostic fee plus tax, which by their policy, he was already supposed to do and told me he got it down to $1897. This business place is crooked and they don t care about the customer. They only care about their pocket. I will never do business there or anywhere near there again.

We are very disappointed with our experience here. We cannot speak to the quality of work because the quoted price for the repair was obscene so we took the car elsewhere for the repair. The front desk clerk we initially spoke with was very nice which made us hopeful we had found a shop that would provide a positive experience. However, it took 3 full days for them to diagnose the issue and then they quoted about a 300% markup of the market value for parts.The other shop we took the car to quoted less than half of what Sergeant Clutch was going to charge us. We showed Sergeant Clutch s estimate to the other shop and they were literally astonished at the cost and called over all of their employees to look and laugh at it.When we paid for the inspection and diagnostics that were completed by Sergeant Clutch, we were charged more than the total cost we were told it would be over the phone. We also requested to use the 15% military discount they advertise on their website, but were told that we were already given a discount (which ended up being less than 10%) and therefore it could not be applied. We will not be coming back to this shop.

One of our truck's front tires went completely flat as we were on our way to pickup our son from school. We had to park inside a business parking lot away from the school. Sergeant Clutch was nearby and we were hoping they could help us out. Not certain if this is an advertised service, but they send out a technician to help us get to their shop and then quickly get us back on the road. Great service!!!

Amazing crew over at Sergeant Clutch!Very professional and very thorough!I brought my 1965 Ford Ranchero into get serviced as my vehicle wouldn t engage into park or drive.So I had my vehicle towed by AAA and the same day it arrived the mechanics were already diagnosing the situation.Turns out the transmission gear shift cable had worn out. I decided to do a complete shifter swap as-well since the old one was worn out . I had the old shifter replaced with a Hurst shifter. I couldn t be happier! The shop did an amazing work on the shifter job! Car is now running great and way smoother now! I HIGHLY recommend this shop. Turn around time was very prompt!

We took our vehicle for a "free" transmission check as stated on their website. When we realized this place was way more expensive than other quotes we'd received we decided to wait. That's when they decided to charge us $100 for their "free" inspection. We told him that his website states its a free transmission check & he didn't care to hear it. Scammers.

Customer service is on point. Management worked with us to help us get the repairs needed and give us additional names/shops for the repairs they don't specialize in. Highly recommend Sgt Clutch.

They try to cover up deceitful business practices with great customer service and being polite but I ve spent over $7000 at the shop and most of the work needed to be redone. I ve even had my caliper just completely fall off after service from the shop. crazy thing about it was the first thing they tried to do was deny responsibility I was a loyal customer for a while, but I m never going back.

They gave me a $5,000 estimate to fix my torque converter (a part inside my transmission) on my 2014 Silverado. Come to find out I could have a whole brand new transmission, torque converter included for roughly $2,500 installed somewhere else. So I did. Don t trust these people, do your research.

Car mis-Diagnosed cost me a lot of money took it to dealer they fixed issue i m sure i won t get anything back from sergeant clutch. sergeant clutch will be nice to you until you say the issue wasn t fixed and then they will have nasty attitude. I trusted them and made a mistake be careful

They will fix what you mention is the issue. Not like a dealership though. Dealership will bring up other concerns that may need addressing. Still have other oil leaks that were not mentioned

I had some transmission issues so I took my 2019 Dodge caravan to Sergent Clutch. They noticed that I needed a replacement. I had them replace the transmission with a new one under warranty. Money was tight so they helped me with a few options on financing. The work was quick and in no time I was back on the road. 2 weeks later the transmission gave out while I was on vacation in Mississippi. Sergeant Clutch not just honored the warranty they helped me find a great dealership to get the work done without having the van towed back to San Antonio. Went in for a simple fluid change. Expected the common...you need xxx but instead was asked a few questions and given a pretty good bill of health on the vehicle. I felt it was fine but for some reason I always expect a laundry list of needed repairs. Partially because I don't know what I don't know. I feel good adding this to the list of honest shops!

I took my sisters 2015 Ford Focus to Sgt. Clutch. The transmission on this ford model has some issues, so I was not sure if it could fixed. But I decided to try Sgt. Clutch. They did a great job fixing it and my sister is very happy. Several months later my Nissan Frontier was running rough and felt like the transmission was not shifting correctly. It turns out that the Catalytic converters were clogged. Michael had his crew on it right away and ready the next day. Thank You Michael for honesty and professional service. I was a TDCJ cadet in Beeville this past September . I was enroute to the academy when my suv broke down coming off IH37 South & US 59 to get to my unit, then all of a sudden , my explorer sputtered and died. I was heartbroken because I love my suv and originally got it as my moms baby shower gift years ago. I had SGT Clutch rebuild the transmission on the very same vehicle (back in 2016) so when I had it towed from Beeville after I graduated, I dropped it off after hours while coming back to San Antonio and called them prior to coming earlier in the week to explain to them what happened to it . The office personnel was very polite and professional. It took probably 3 days before they were able to start working on it and I already figured the Fuel Pump cr*pped out after doing my own diagnostics and the starting fluid test . They confirmed my suspicions and gave me a quote of $595 to replace the fuel pump assembly and the fuel filter at my request . The job only took 2 days to do and I told them I was going to pick it up on Saturday when I was off and they held it for me . When I came to pick it up , I used the Snap financing (outrageously sky high interest , like 50% interest) and the fee from Snap was only $39 which is worth it to have my baby back . I used Confident Financial Solutions which were more cheaper in the past but wasn t Re approved with them again. But overall yes they are pricy but that s any mechanic shop that has to order and pre pay for your parts which is why you re charged more . And heck , which other shop will finance your sh*tbox s vehicle repair? Nobody else that I know of . Thanks SGT Clutch !Service: Auto engine diagnostic

ATTENTION: This place is deceiving. Do not trust this shop. They think they are slick. Which is seriously hilarious. I too do not know how this business is still operating. These employees do not know what integrity is. The situation that arose is very serious, because what were you guys thinking by damaging my vehicle all because I declined a service? Shame on you.
