PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS HERE BEFORE, MAKING A DISCUSSION DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE YOUR CAR HERE!! CAR WILL LEAVE WORST THAN WHAT IT WAS AFTER LEAVING THIS PLACE! Just like any other Mechanic Shop!They try to make more money off of your car other than what you bring it in for!! I came in to get an alignment & after they was done! I couldn t drive my car! I paid $65 for nothing! I parked my car and went back up there with my dad to get an refund, the owner was rude for no reason, and they just told me that my car was mess up when I brought it up there when I know that s a lie!! When I just drove it from Louisiana to Texas and now after this place it s not driving correctly whatsoever my car is swerving really bad!! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE THEY NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! COMPLETE JOKE

This repair shop is a joke. I went to get my air conditioner fixed and they held my car for a part they didn't have and wouldn't give me a specific arrival date.The communication with the customer is terrible.In the end they put in the wrong part and broke a part of the air conditioner part.They have no respect for the customers' cars.I am still waiting for them to replace the part and fix what they broke.I recommend to all my known contacts not to visit this place, it is not reliable.

Definitely recommend. These giys patched a tire for me in maybe 15-20 minutes for a really reasonable price.

Stay away from this place. They tell you one price up front then make up story once they are 1/2 way through work and say it's going to cost more. I tried to understand why and guy said because it's fair to their business to charge more rather than fair to honor the price agreed on with the customer. Not that there was difficulty or an issue but was a miscommunication from the guy doing the work and front office guy. This was just a tire dismount at that.... Crooked place stay away

Scratched my wheel up when I had a tire patch. They move fast but carelessly. No doubt it was them, the scratches are right next to the lug nuts in addition to where they remove and push the tire back onto the rim.

Lies and misdiagnosis! Which you pay $45 for. Couldn't find a reason for my horn not working, so wanted to replace entire fuse Box, then said the wrong one came in. When I wanted to take care out and go elsewhere they said it was all taken apart and right fuse box was on the way. And they already did a lot of work-Not! they put in horn relay. Alternator and battery was $647. I asked them not to put battery in and they did for $200, saying it couldn't be driven bc of my battery. Battery was driving ok just low on charge. I wanted to go elsewhere for a battery. They don't't listen to you, and play you along! $20 each job for using Shop Tools!! Continuously putting you off with wrong info.My drivers side panel wouldn't operate on passenger window after they had it. And my Windshield washer sprayer quit working too.

Man these guys are horrible if I could leave 0 stars I would. They gave my car back worse than how I brought it in and tried to charge me 450 more to fix it. After taking it to another mechanic it was a small sensor that THEY broke. These guys are crooks stay away.

Had to return on 3 separate occasions because my vehicle was not fixed properly.As I later found out after being fed-up with the lack of service--THE PART WAS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY!! First time customer and LAST!

I would give zero Stars if I could. Went in to have a right rear suspension looked at. Was told it would be $45 just to inspect it so they drove it around the back where I couldn't see it. And then I asked if they had inspected it and he said yes. He told me they put it in the air on the lift and they did not. I told him I wanted my car back and he insisted I pay him the $45. Do not waste your time or money at this place. If I have my way they will be out of business within a month

WARNING. If you come here they will take advantage of you and lie.Took my car to get tire patched and pressured to sell me a tire in worse conditions than the tire I already had. In addition, they removed the rim cover on my wheel and never put it back. When I asked for it back, they tried to lie instead, making up a story saying that my rim cover fell off the wheel while I was driving.

I took my daughter's vehicle here because her air conditioner wasn't cooling. That was the ONLY reason why I took her car in. They "diagnosed" it for me, and told me that the car needed a serpentine belt. The mechanic told me that the serpentine belt is the reason why the ac wasn't working.First he told me that the serpentine belt was frayed. Then, he told me that the car didn't have 1at all, which should have been my first red flag. So, I paid the $300 to replace the serpentine belt and the pulley. And when I picked up the vehicle, I was told that everything was fixed. I drove literally a quarter of a mile and had to turn around because it was blowing hot air. The mechanic then tried to gaslight me by mentioning that "we didn't do anything to the ac, just the serpentine belt and you weren't charged for thr ac". This was after they diagnosed the ac and told me that a replacement serpentine belt would FIX THE ISSUE!!! I am so upset with this place right now!!

Absolute WORST mechanic in San Antonio if you see this please take ur business elsewhere im saving you a lot of troubles and hassle. Basically they don t honor anything there s no warranty for your stuff even if they say there is. This place is actually the worst slimey owners ELO AND MARTIN some of the worst people and Shadiest I ve ever met. If I could leave 0 starts I would. Just overall a terrible place terrible environment terrible people. Save ur money never go to this place ever ever

I took my car there because it needed coolant. They gave me a printed out estimate of $596.26, i paid $267 a day later and at the time of pick up they charged me $386.97 which equals $653.07 instead of the initial $596, i asked if there was anything additionally done to the car or why there was an up charge, they said it was taxes, the young man in the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful, i showed him where the initial price already had the taxes added and he said they had a business tax added of $50 fee that is nowhere mentioned on my paperwork but i have it on video and I'm dedicating my day today to make calls and emails about reporting this with the state because i don't think the state is aware. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS if yoy go here, people are being charged extra and might not even be aware of this. Sad to do to people in this economy.

Took some new tires to get mounted, balanced, with new valve stems and the worker told me $40. I said okay let s do it. Then they didn t even balance my tires and gave me a different higher price even WITHOUT BALANCING. Manager s excuse was that the worker didn t know English so he couldn t have given me a $40 quote in the first place when I clearly heard him say $40 after I told him what I wanted. This place is a scam and I d advise people to look elsewhere.

Be careful ladies, unfortunately I sent my fianc� since I work long hours outside their hours of operation. They sold her a bad tire that went flat same day, we took it back and paid for a patch. The tire within week went bad. We had to purchase another tire. Same problem. I m now on my third tire in about a month and over phone they claim they ll help and fix but once tire is on they come with receipt and another charge. They have the tire game locked. Sell bad tires and have friendly faces so you come back. As a veteran Iv never seen issues handled with such lack of accountability. They can never do anything wrong.

Most honest and transparent mechanic shop I've been to in San Antonio. Didn't add any "fees" or nonsense. End price was agreed on price. Fast too. I felt like a priority. Definitely recommend bringing your vehicle if you need mechanical, electrical, paint and body, or just a tire. Saving their number for any future needs!

I DONT LIKE PEOPLE WORKING ON MY CAR BUTAll shops make mistakes I would let them work on my car if needed the guy isn't working to rip you off he is there to help the community with repairs if you don't like it go to the dealership. Proper preparation prevents piss poor performance I was once told. They work hard give them some respect don't be so negative

I bought used tires here a few months ago. Very good and fast service. Nice workers.Update to my review 2018.03.08Went to them for their service today for tire patch and have to say they're really good people good service and price. Fyi I rarely give 5 stars but if I could I would add a � star to make my review 4� stars.

They are open 7 days a week, and always there to help and will answer your questions about any vehicle problems one might have.Update:My low air warning light came in on my car, and I immediately went to Discount Tire to get the air checked.They checked it, and told me that I needed to make an appointment to get my tire checked for a nail.I didn't want my eun flat to go bad, so I drove on to Express Tire Shop.I waited 5 minutes for my turn and they lifted the vehicle and saw the nail.They had my tire repaired and back on the vehicle in less than 15 minutes.Not wasting my time at Discount Tire again.

Super customer friendly and excellent and super fast service. Went in there to change and get a used tire the tire was practically new and for an excellent price of just $45 dollars. And was in & out of there in less then 10 no more then 15 minutes. I d suggest you go here if you re looking for great service and cheap used tires that are practically in new condition.

I've been coming here for a few years now. John always does a great job on my car and always shows me the old parts he is replacing. Today they fixed my entire A/C system and I couldn't be happier. Yes it was very expensive but worth it since I was always sweating. Now I don't have to show up anywhere sweating haha. I was glad to give them the business! I'll definitely keep coming to S H Express Tire Shop

If I could leave no stars I would. Tire technician was rude, threw my wheel down (rolled onto my foot dirtied my white sneaker) after I tried haggling with him and slammed my key lock on the roof of my car. Never again. Save yourselves the time. They should definitely reconsider who works there. I was atleast greeted by another employee.

Express Tire has been my "go to" shop for over 10 years. We just had to have my wife's Jeep serviced for a charging system issue. We took it in on Sunday afternoon and it was ready for us on Monday morning. The technicians there are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle serviced. They recently opened another location at 7767 Culebra Rd. in San Antonio if that is more convenient for you.

Full Service Shop not just wheels. Reasonable pricing & no condescending men! Ladies, these guys will tell you what's wrong with your car in layman terms. They will show u the broken items that ACTUALLY need replacing & let YOU decide to do it now or later. They won't try to gouge you or make you buy other stuff you do not need like others have done to me at other shops as well as several shade tree mechanics. I have been looking for a good mechanic or Automotive shop for many, many years; mechanics tend to be very condescending to women. Not here! I HIGHLY recommend this shop. My car needed a loving hand! Can't wait to go back to get more broken little things done to it. I'm actually looking forward to finally getting all the qwirks out of my Camaro. I love this place! Thank u Eloy for running a great shop. Women will appreciate your shop! God bless you guys, in Jesus' name.

I've been coming to this place for years and Eloy has done great work for me. I'm talking at least ten years back I've been bringing my cars and members of my family as well. But yesterday I send my daughter in for a simple brake pad replacement and there's a problem. She brought her car home and started hearing the brakes grind and finally a piece came off. I had her park it and take the car back this Sunday morning on 11-3. They said something is wrong with the part, of course the parts store says hey the guy put it on wrong. But since it has a warranty we took it back and replaced the part for free from the part store but the shop wanted an additional $40 to put new brakes on! I mean where's the customer service, I expect this from Midas and Brake Check but not my neighborhood guy. More disappointed then anything else.

I have been going to this tire shop for about 4 years now. They literally do everything. They have done everything from replace a tire to replace a engine and paint my car. I do not do reviews on places I go to but I feel they can help more people the way they have helped me over the years. Every neighborhood needs a shop like this around. Their prices are reasonable if not too low! literally they prices have been lower than shade tree mechanics quotes I've gotten. I've seen them work on everything from my Tahoe to a Ferrari there. -Satisfied customer

Horrible at communicating with customers. They told my husband it would take approximately 3 hours when we dropped it off at 10a.m. the car was not done still by 7 PM.! They kept the car overnight and didn't bother to call to give us updates or to let us know the car would be kept overnight. We show up to the place and find that it is closed and noone thought to even let us know what was going on with the car or even ask to keep it overnight.! We kept calling but it was just a machine.Remember now- this was supposed to take only 3 hours.Next day it takes a few more hours until we can pick it up- no apologies for lack of communication or for not even asking to keep car overnight etc. Just got car back so we will see how repairs go and if they keep their word on any guarantees made. Still left a really bad impression.
