I just wanted to share my experience I had at Rodriguez radiator shop. I took my Impala there to get my radiator replaced the other day and I will say it was a awesome experience. Great customer service family owned business. Guys were helpful and know what there doing. From the pricing to getting it done in a timely matter to the services they provide. They really know what they are doing and cannot say enough good things about them. I will definitely recommend them to others in the future and will definitely keep them in mind as one of the best shops to get yur radiator fixed or replaced in San Antonio hands down. Thx's guy's, much respect!

Mando and the crew do great work. Been there twice. Fixed my truck radiator issues fast and effective. Its like new again.

Brought in vehicle for warped radiator fan problem and water pump problem. He did replace the water pump but charged $395 plus tax for it. I don't believe it was a new part. He called to get approval to replace the fan clutch which he said was stripped. He said he would show the old fan clutch part when we picked up the vehicle. He charged $200 plus tax for the part and when we got there he did not offer to show us the old fan clutch part, but it still looked good. We knew and he knew, that the radiator fan was warped and still making noise when it was picked up, but he never offered to replace it. When we left we realized the next day that the battery was dead and had to have it jumped. This was a battery with good life left on it before arriving at Mando's business. The battery was now leaking acid and was unusable, and so she had to spend another $200+ to replace the battery...nothing had been wrong with it before this visit!!! He didn't mention anything about the battery when she picked up the vehicle. But that is why he didn't offer to replace the radiator fan. With the time it would take to fix the radiator fan, the battery would get worse and start leaking and we would notice it and want compensation. Someone at his business dropped/damaged the battery and he never told us about it. And the radiator fan had to be replaced at another shop...the fan clutch had to be removed again and this cost additional labor hours. This owner acts nice to your face and you don't even know the deceptive, unfair, cheating, secrets about the condition of your vehicle, that he has hidden. And it will cost you lots more money when you drive away from his crooked business, not even suspecting all the rip offs that you got. I do not recommend this business. Why pay top dollar for his work when you can go to a reputable business elsewhere for the same price or less? Not sure why he did this to us.

Based on a good referral and good reviews, I took my niece's vehicle to this shop because of an overheating issue. The vehicle could not be driven so I had it towed in. The price I was quoted seemed high to me but because of the tow I had no choice but to authorize the repair. The radiator replacement was completed the same day but was told that the radiator fan was inoperative and that if I wanted it replaced I would have to pay another 300.00. What choice did I have? They had the replacement fan in by the next morning. I paid the amount on my receipt with my debit card and drove away. When I checked my online bank activity my account had been charged an extra $30.00. I called the shop and was told that they charge a 30% card usage fee because they are charged when a customer uses a card to pay. I understand that those charges can add up for a business but felt I should have been made aware of those charges. I was also told that they have signage posted to let customers know of these charges. I neglected to look around at all the signs posted, so that is on me but I still feel that a spoken word about these charges would have made me withdraw the funds and pay cash. This is just an FYI to anyone who chooses to take their vehicle to this business for repairs

Took my radiator out of my 61 Chrysler. Had leaks and was clogged up, they did great job repairing it and very fair price. Will be taking more radiators from my other classic cars , they ve earned my business

Mando was not able to help me with my repair due to the short time I had to get it done in, but he did help me keep running until I have the time to do the repair right! Thank you!! You made my first encounter with Rodriguez radiator excellent and I will tell everyone I know to go see you when they need help!! Class act with integrity, the world need more business people like y'all!

Quoted over the phone, dropped off just before 9:00am and picked up at 1:30pm. Great work, honest and the price was what he quoted. The price was half of what the big "Name Brand" national companies quoted. It's a "No Frills" local shop, just good work!

What a great place ! I was 90 miles from home and my suv was over heating I called and they were closing for the day but the owner told me to bring it by and he would take a look ! He was able to fix it so I could get it home . These people are great and believe in service I would make the trip 90 miles just to have them work on my vehicles.

I had a leak on my daughters car and after reading the reviews I called and they gave me a very reasonable quote. Took the car in at 10 am and they had a new radiator installed by 2 pm. Charged just what they quoted. I am very pleased with the service. They are a very professional shop and I know how to do the work myself I am just old enough to let them do it. Highly recommended.

The oem radiator to my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer eventually gave out this summer and was leaving all coolant in about every 3 days so was able to order a new oem radiator along with hoses and clamps. I called Rodriguez Radiator shop and asked for a quote on the installation only and was given a fair general price. Went first thing in the morning to drop off my car and they were able to have my car ready to go by 2pm. I inspected all the parts put on and have been inspecting the radiator, coolant, and hoses and everything is working perfectly. I definitely recommend this business for your radiator troubles. Very professional and quick service. My vehicle broke down in San Antonio on our way back to Houston on Labor Day due to a radiator leak at around 7pm. We tried the stop leak treatment from the auto parts store and only worked on 1 of the 2 leaks it had. I never had any problems with the radiator before. We ended up having to spend another night in San Antonio. Also, my wife and I both missed work the following day. This place had me with a new radiator installed and tested within the same day for my late model Infiniti. Other places said it would take them an extra day. I am very satisfied with the quick professional service. My insurance recommended other mechanic shops but I looked this radiator repair shop on google and thought I would give it a try due to the good reviews. Do not waste time fixing or replacing your radiator with the mechanic shops. They will charge you way more than this shop. Everything worked out great. No issues for our 3 hour drive back home. I even received Warranty on this new radiator and installation. I highly recommend this place! Thanks

I was recommended to this shop. Keeping my 19 yr old ride running in Texas heat. Arrived minutes before they opened. Employees arrived w greeting and ready for work. Professional work and reasonable.

These guys are the real deal i went to them with a 14 year old radiator for my GMC Sierra truck in between pay checks and no other means of transportation i took the radiator off in their parking lot these guys greeted me with repect and gave me no hassles. I explained my issue and had it back in my truck in less then a hour and a half great job guys I highly recommend these guys plus good affordable prices good job guys i plan on doing lots of bussiness in the future here.

Excellent same day service!!!! I took my vehicle at 8 am when they opened!!! Mando was very professional and helpful... Radiator repair in and out 4hrs with lifetime warranty!!! Wow... I will be taking all my vehicles to Rodriguez as Long as they continue to provide excellent customer service!!! Thanks again MANDO!!!!!!!!

Took my car for a new radiator today. The guys were very polite, didn t try to over price work, had new radiator put in within a couple of hours, and very affordable. Very satisfied!
