Mike how are you still in business? I ve had the same experience as many of the people who gave you a bad review.Mike worked on my car for month s.My vehicle had to totaled out due to the horrible condition it was in after it was supposedly fixed.You owe me at least the $800 I paid and another $1,000 due to the loss in value.I honestly don t even think you have a legit business.It s very sketchy and believe me I m not alone in my opinion. The person who referred you ended up agreeing with me and knows many others with the same opinion of your business practices.STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!

I paid Mike a certain amount of cash to restore my classic car and for 4 yrs it sat with nothing done to it but get worse with the time and weather . All I heard was excuse after excuse as to why it wasnt done. I finally had enough and just picked up my vehicle which is now in worse condition. By the way what business owner can't have a working telephone? When I finally got a hold of him after about 3 dozen calls a week for a few months he said he'd refund my money with out any more problem it's been over 6 months since that conversation and now he doesn't answer phone calls . I highly recommend that if your in the market too get your vehicle painted or fixed try another shop don't waste your time and money .

I took my car in for a complete paint job, the work they did on the car is terrible, Mike said that my complaints were warranted, and that they would correct the issues, so I dropped my car back off and it sat in the parking lot for five days. I called Mike and he told me that I would get it in a day two, but still the car sat in the parking lot. I decided to take it to another shop and see if they could fix the issues, after all why leave it in Mikes hands, what changes from one day to the next? his work is of poor quality. I took it to Bennies, and I was told that the car would need to be completely re-painted over again as no sealer was used, and that the paint used was of poor quality, even though I had asked Mike for good quality paint to be used, and he charged me $500.00 more. Mike does not have a paint booth and as a result, you get dirt in the paint, his workers buffed the paint but burned the clear in different places, and other places were left unpainted, the car also has a lot of swirl marks and not that much clear was used, so if I try to get it buffed by another shop it will take it down to the paint. If I could give Mike a negative star I would. Do not make the same mistake that I did, go somewhere else, I wish that I had read the reviews on here before I took my car to Mike, it would have saved me a great deal of aggravation., and a great deal of money.Service: Painting

Worst service and job ever done on my car. The paint on my hood and bumper started chipping 2 weeks after repairs and paint was done. He left my car damaged and parts damaged and not repaired also left my hood half painted. Contacted the owner with no response back several times. Will be contacting my insurance company to handle from here. 2018 camry silver color

What started out as a good paint job ended up costing more money and time. My 94 F150 truck was painted and parts left incorrectly put back together. Fuel system with broken pieces found in bottom of tank.When asked Mike to repair he said no problem, he will drop tank and clean etc. I added more work and paid for - car stereo system etc. Truck sat for another 3 months and they worked on rushed it last two days after several attempts to pickup. Mike said tank was cleaned and elaborated about how they cleaned fuel tank and did more work than necessary.I drove off and vehicle shut off 2 block away. Used second tank to make to gas station. When filling up gas began gushing out of front tank onto floor. Found out later problem was a broken fuel stem blocking fuel from entering tank.Had another shop look at truck. They found old pieces of fuel stem in bottom of tank, old gas and debris at bottom of tank - fuel went bad and ruined fuel pump. Fuel pump had to be replaced, fuel tank dropped and cleaned, new fuel stem neck.Mike knew I just had motor and transmission rebuilt. Pumping bad fuel could have ruined my new fuel injectors, motor etc.All the work done was garbage, from the fuel tank not being cleaned to the car stereo not being installed incorrectly. A wire was cut for gas system, my front fuel tank always reads full. Vehicle returned missing rear license plate. New wheel hubcap cover fell off before gas station.Got a refund for additional work. All this time and aggravation not worth it.

Mike consistently provides professional, friendly, polite, and courteous service. I have never received anything less than excellent service for body & paint work, electrical, mechanical, or any other automotive repairs. Mike's pricing is more than fair, and better than anywhere else. He fixes only what's needed and doesn't take advantage of customers who don't know much about cars. He did another phenomenal repair and repaint job on my truck, as he has on 3 previous vehicles and 2 40-foot RVs! The body surface shapes and contours look just as they were when factory new, and the paint is always flawless, blending with the original colors and shades that nobody can tell it was ever damaged to begin with!!!Services: Painting, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Welding, Battery

I have never used ProTech Armor, but they have been using the picture of my black Ford Expedition as if they have completed work on it!!! My truck is all original!!!!

I've taken multiple vehicles to Mike and everytime the service has been great. great prices as well. always gotten the vehicle's back on time or before the deadline. if we have had any issues Mike has fixed them also. great shop and owner

I brought a working truck for paint 2 years ago. 2 years later I got it back and it is painted but no longer works. I have many many many new problems. From windows, door locks, carburetor, and too many small new issues to mention. They even took the battery bracket for my battery.During those 2 years I called often for updates. I was lied to so many times by Mike that it was insulting. Their word meant nothing. They clearly didn't respect me as a customer. I really have no idea why they weren't just honest about things and let me pick up my truck. They lied to me each month about the finish date. My greatest mistake was not getting things in writing.I would not do business with them again but if you do please please please get it in writing. Every word. Have them sign it as well.Their staff was friendly and helpful. No idea why Mike lied to me so much for 2 years.

I picked up my vehicle highly satisfied and happy with the work done on it. Mike is fair with his services and prices. Was very disappointed with this company and the owner Mike. Took my truck to have repaired, only body rest of truck was working. On a job that should have only taken a few weeks ended up almost 6 months hard to get ahold of Mike to get any updates after it was finally completed truck would not start speedometer , horn and had to replace multiple sensors that somehow went bad found out they fried the VATs module and would cost me 2000 to fix. Then they just found out my antenna and spare tire was missing called and Mike said he call me back tried to call again and number was canceled. Be careful with this company.

My sister bought an old 2007 Buick Rendezvous that was getting her stranded in every corner of San Antonio. Mike fixed her car so well that she made it to Mississippi with no trouble and a year after that she drove the same car to Florida with no issues. Great work and very affordable.

Protech Auto Armor has hands-down the best customer service of any car shop I have ever taken my car to. They treated me with utmost respect and the timeline they put on my repairs was spot on; they even called and asked if I needed my car to be delivered to my workplace. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Mike was honest with me about costs and labor for my repair.....I gave him my estimated budget and he made it work! I will definitely recommend him to everyone and will use this shop for any other Paint and Body work that I need!
