Top Notch!!I had my stereo system looked over today. My 02 F two 50 is what we call the fun truck but without sound it wasn t as fun. 4 of the first things I thought were awesome about this shop One they were really nice and professional in my opinion. 2 even though I left my truck they got on it and figured it out faster then I thought. 3 the cost was very reasonable 4 precision Radio was the only shop that actually answered and were able to fit me in sooner then weeks like others wouldn t answer when I d call back. I tried 4 different shops. Most shops said well for use to even look at it will be $100 just to look at it even if they don t figure it out. That was crazy in my mind! I am more then happy to pay for time and skill spent on any issue any of my trucks have. And to top it off precision radio is maybe 6 miles from my house that s a win in its self . THANK YOU Precision Radio!!!

Precision Radio is a small-veteran owned business headed by John, who is an absolute gem of a man. The skill and experience he brings to the table is extraordinary and reassuring.I was referred to him by a dealership service center when they were unable to remove a 1inch x 1inch piece of paper that got stuck in my brand new Honda Odyssey DVD player.I coordinated and appointment with John who took the time to research my vehicle and expertly removed the paper from the DVD player for a nominal and extremely fair fee.Highly recommend this establishment for your impossible to repair situations. He will undoubtedly surprise you.Oorah, John .you, Sir, are one in a million!

Precision Radio did an outstanding job repairing the radio amplifier in my 95 Mustang GT convertible with the Mach 460 sound system. John is probably the only person in San Antonio capable of doing this kind of work. He has over 50 years of experience and knowledge of radio repair. John sincerely enjoys his work and I appreciate greatly the work he did repairing my radio.

John is awesome. He's fixed and refurbishes TONS of OEM products and saves you a lot of money in the process. Years after years of experience and takes pride in his work. He fixed my cluster in my F150 and replaced a bunch of burned out bulbs. Speedy service and great pricing. I thought for sure that he had retired by now but I'm so glad to see this place is still open.

Such great people that are so helpful! :-) Thank you guys soo much for your help. Situation was that my GMC radio dial knob broke and when I took it by several other dealerships and auto-stores, the claim was that there was no possible way to solve this other than replacing the entire system for over a $grand total. & Then Precision Radio was recommended to me, and I am so grateful! I explained my situation and the owners just so happened to have an extra radio exactly the same, that they exchanged my broken part for and completely fixed for barely a fee at all. :-)

John, the owner, absolutely knows his stuff -- very competent and his prices are fair and straight forward. Even better ? Precision is perhaps the ONLY one in San Antonio that can take care of and repair your CD changers, radios, gauges, etc without doing an expensive and complete change-out. Your car dealers don't have the knowledge and experience to do what Precision does... they just want to sell you the replacement at hundred's if not much more. I only was able to get to Precision because my service advisor gave me the name and phone number on the QT. And that was because he and I have become good friends over the past 8+ yrs. .... so it's a best kept secret by all the car dealers and their service and parts departments.

I had an issue with a control panel on my RV. Took it to John and it was fixed the same day. Price was incredibly low. This place is going to be my first stop anytime I need a repair.

Five Stars....Had a cluster on a 07 Chevy Colorado that John took a look at even though he can't rebuild them, he still went out of his way to open it up and found Speedo needle was to close to backboard pulled up on it just a tad and walla now my Speedo is working like a charm. It would get stuck on 30mph and it wouldn't go down to 0mph, it would show mph once you were going faster then 30mph. Thanks a million John!! And on top of that he wasn't going to charge me because he wasn't sure if it would work but I still slipped him a $20 bill for his time.

Unbelievably good service. The owner went far out of his way to fix my problem so instead of having to buy new radio and speakers, he replaced a $. 50 diode and got my system working. Can't recommend him enough!

Temp gauge and tachometer stopped working on a 2003 Silverado. The owner, John pulled out the instrument cluster in less than 2 minutes, replaced the drive motors( called stepp motors), for all 6 gauges, checked all connections on the circuit board and reinstalled the instrument panel and the job was completed in 30 minutes. He is a true expert and the only service of this kind in San Antonio. My mechanic wanted $170 just to take out the instrument cluster( then I would have to take it to precision for repair)-precision radio charged $20 to take out the instrument cluster. I witnessed the entire repair and John explained the entire repair process. What I learned is that once any of the gauges fails, the other gauges are probably not far behind and he showed me why the cheap steps motors fail. He replaced all the stepp motors with a better quality motor and after completing the rebuild of the circuit board had me on my way in 30 minutes for a total cost of $150--my mechanic would not even be able to repair the board and by the time he competed the job it would be at least $300 and only the temp gauge would be repaired. One review complained of rude service--I found just the opposite. John was very helpful and as I stated earlier, demonstrated the entire process taking the time to show me what was causing my instrument panel to fail. John is without a doubt one of the best professionals I have dealt with. If he can fix it he will tell you up front, but in some vehicles parts are just not available. Highly recommend Precision Radio. repair date 02/21/2018

Knew exactly what to do when my hands-free device was no longer working on my 2008 car. It was the auxiliary port. They had it fixed in less then 15 minutes for a very reasonable price.

John I think can do the "Rubic Cube" in in 8 seconds! Seriously I mean it. John and his wife are really good people. He repaired the complete instrument cluster. In our 2005 Chev Trailblazer which included Tachometer, Speedometer, Gas, Oil, Temperature, & Battery. Then I mentioned the radio had a C.D. stuck in it. Took the radio out and took care of the problem also. It don't get no better!

Brought my car in to have my stock stereo fixed and didn't know why it was not working anymore. He diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair price for fixing it, very satisfied with the work, service, and price.

My daughter took her 2004 Volvo there today at the suggestion of our mechanic to see if they could fix her CD player. They actually laughed at her and told her to go buy a new car. There's nothing wrong with her car other than the CD player but it appears they don't work on that year and model. Their rude and unprofessional behaviour was not necessary and we certainly won't use them for anything and I will make sure and give our mechanic feedback.
