Went into the shop during the week to schedule an appointment to have my brakes looked at. Thought my brakes were soft and felt they may need to be replaced. Was able to get in on the day and time I was available!They performed a brake system inspection and determined my brakes were in good shape! They offered a Brake Fluid exchange and a 2 Step BG Fuel clean, which I accepted to help maintain my car.The gentlemen whom I scheduled with and greeted me when dropping off my car (and when I picked up.) were very personable and knowledgeable of what was requested. Thank you for making this a good experience.Thank you Daniel for reassuring me my brake are in good working condition. I will return when it s time to replace the brakes.

I came from out of town for thanksgiving and needed an oil change on the way back I had went to a couple of other places before here but none had the filter for my vehicle since it was next years model. I don t know his name but a gentleman up front really helped me out and was super nice they had to go get the filter and got me out within an hour or so because I had to head back home. I really appreciated them and the service they provided would definitely recommend.

Got to love these guy's. They are the only shop I know of provide excellent service each time I have gone there. No fuss is the key to keeping your customers happy and listen to their needs which this staff mainly "Thomas" does great person to deal with and is on top of what is going on in the shop. (Fair and Honest).

I was amazed by the staff management at pep boys They were so kind and courteous. Josh did an excellent job on my car maintenance, he used all his professional skills to do a great job. Keep up the good work boys!! Blessings

Mario was the technician at the front desk who helped me. He was friendly, patient and gave me all my options when looking to buy 4 new tires. He also went over pep boys road hazard policy s with me in detail.Thank you for making the experience easy.

This was the worst mechanic experienceI have ever had. It's hard to not feel taken advantage of.First, I called because my CEL came on for a misfire after I had changed my spark plugs. I Took my vehicle there and they say it's likely the coil. First they gave the incorrect quoteand called me after I had dropped my vehicle off with an updated quote. Frustrated but okay. I get the vehicle back and immediately the CEL came back on. I look through the paperwork they gave me and the tech notes read "I can't figure out what's wrong with it." I call them and they tell me to take the vehicle back to them the following morning and like a dummy, I do.I spoke with the manager when I dropped my vehicle off because I was concerned it could be something larger.She told me that when they changed my coil pack, that the CEL didn't chase when they were doing a diagnostic, BUT said that it's probably that all the coils needed to be replaced. I know now that this doesn't make any sense since the CEL indicated an issue with only one cylinder.I say, please just do the diagnostic and give me an update.Later that day I get a call from their Assistant Manager. He says that they suggest to replace the coils. I ask him to just verify one more time. At that moment he must have gotten an update and told me that they found a crack in the spark plug and that he would give me a call back.He never called me back. I called him later in the evening and he informed me that they replaced the coil packs (without my consent). I was frustrated but they told me my vehicle was fixed.I go to pick it up and there is a HUGE crack in the windshield. They tried to skirt responsibility saying that they couldn't prove it happened in their shop.... SMH and to top it all off my CEL was still on.But what's maddening to me is that the AssistantManager LIED on the paperwork and said that I did give permission for the work. I reached out to their customer service and it was lack luster.They did pay go replace my windshield but they also messed my cowl up, but I feel that this is simply not enough. They completed work that did not need to be done without my permission. I reached out to customer service and they said that the store reached out to me, but I haven't heard anything. Unacceptable.

Called and was told we could get in immediately for an alignment. After waiting the amount of time it should take for an alignment to be completed the mechanic comes in and states he can't complete the job because my inner driver tie rod was extremely loose. My boyfriend told them from the beginning he was a mechanic and does this for a living. He then told them to drop his car and we left because there was no way that could be true (we just took a trip to Dallas with no signs of problems) we left and he pulled over and checked and his tie rod was barely threaded in. Any mechanic would know that their vehicle would show signs of a tie rod being that loose. We initially went in and told him the steering wheel was slightly off. He told us he couldn't finish the job but the steering wheel is perfectly straight and driving straight. So you did all of that to try and get more work out of someone who clearly stated they were a mechanic and knew what they were doing. You tried to pull a fast one on someone that you couldn't get over on. You could have seriously injured someone had they not known what they were doing and fixed their vehicle two minutes after leaving your facility!

Second time I visited this Pep boys for the same service, drain and fill coolant on two separate vehicles. Each time I picked up both vehicles, low coolant light was on with no coolant in the reservoir. Please be careful and double check your vehicle prior to dropping off and picking up. I will not be returning for future services.

This place almost killed us. My husband went and got new tires put on (after market rims) in the evening and the next day the tire was 100 miles from falling off and us rolling our truck. While we were driving on the freeway he heard a thumping noise so we pulled over to inspect it but saw nothing. I noticed the front right tire was wobbling so we slowly got it to a shop. They jacked up the front right and the tire was very wobbly. When they removed it, 4 of the 8 lug nuts came right off. The studs broke off from the wheel bearing because the lug nuts were torqued too much. They also failed to remove the brake clips that should be removed when after market tires are put on. And the tire had become damaged and unusable causing us to get a new wheel and rubber, new studs, and new lug nuts. Pepboys also gave my husband a hard time when he brought it in. When we called to let them know what happened they denied they were wrong and wasn t their fault. We had our small children in the truck at the time it happened so this could have ended very badly. Luckily we caught it in time before the truck lost a tire and rolled. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

(TRUST ME DO NOT GIVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO ANYONE AT THIS LOCATION OR YOUR PHONE WILL GET FILLED WITH MALWARE!!!) [I wish there was something I could do. If there is a lawyer reading this I will pay for compensation. This is out of hand totally ridiculous!!! I work a life safety job and can t be berated with spam calls!!!They did good work here but I m constantly getting spam calls and this business is the only place I ve given my phone number to.(I never authorized PepBoys to use my phone number for any other matter other then calling me when my vehicle was finished. This is a major inconvenience and PepBoys needs to get with their tech team and put a stop to this discrepancy.)

Went to this location after reviewing tire prices online. The representative quoted hundreds over the online price and stated that there was an internet glitch. We got our tires elsewhere the next day. Just be sure you call and ask for the price before driving over & don't rely on the listed internet prices to be honored.

This Pep boys take so long time for just dk a oil change of a car them told me i have to order the filter and the filter is taken long time i got appointment at 9am is almost 10:30 am and my car is nof in yet to to do the oil change the worksrs looks so lazzy and very young to have the capacity to do his work

Very disappointed. Drove over to get a part only to find out that their retail shop was closed down. This location still does do mechanical work though.

These guys, Jacob, Thomas, and Mario provided the best service and seemed to genuinely care about my safety on the road. Jacob was thorough with his evaluation and Thomas made every effort to have my vehicle back on the road as soon as possible. I will definitely see them for all of my vehicle needs.

So over all the store is pretty nice, it is large and has a good selection. The device was friendly, but they did not hat the parts that I was looking for even though it said online that they did.

I have had a number of services done by this pep boys, and continue to be impressed with the quality of work and dedication customer service. This particular name involved waiting for their diagnostician and he was definitely worth the wait. He went above and beyond to do a thorough diagnosis.

I went to Pep Boys because air-condition stop working what I paid there other places wanted that amount just to check the fuses and relay, Pep Boys check fixed now air-condition is working. The manager was very nice (Marbach store)

Thomas' level of service was amazing. However, the lack of staffing caused for delays. I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30am, but my vehicle wasn't worked on until an hour or so later. I went in to install 4 new tires I had purchased elsewhere. I also did a balance and alignment. Unfortunately, soon after I left I noticed my vehicle slightly drifting to the left side which wasn't the case with the tires I had replaced. I had to come back a couple of later only to have a different technician explain to me the situation. I wish this would've been identified and explained on the day of the service and not me having to come back on a later date, taking off work to look into this matter.From the service side of things, I was pleased overall with the slight inconvenience and dissatisfaction of having to wait an hour after my appointment to get my vehicle serviced. As far as the actual labor performed, it left a lot to be desired.

The service at the Pep Boys on Marbach Rd. was exceptional. The staff worked on my coolant exchange and provided me with quotes for additional services along with available manager specials. I will definitely be going back to them for my future service needs.

Staff are honest, not there to add more work for your money. I am consistently given valid recommendations, such as suggesting for me to hold off on a certain service because it is not necessary yet. I highly recommend this shop.

took the car in because i got a lean fuel service code. as a result they replaced the mass airflow sensor. after that i was told they checked to make sure the lean fuel code was cleared however it was not cleared. they never told me there was a hole in my air intake valve. this means they just trying to make money with the diagnosis charge and or they just didn't do a quality diagnosis the first time and or they just fixing what they imagine the issue is and they don't know how to diagnose problems cars have.
