We stayed here for three nights so we could visit The Alamo and the missions that are part of the National Park System. The office staff was very helpful in directing us to public transportation to visit the downtown area. They had the transit maps for the route we needed and also showed us some points of interest in the downtown area. The bus was much better than driving and paying for parking, if you could find a space. We had a site with a concrete pad. Great site, no problem with leveling or any of the hookups. The park is gated both in and out so there is no lack of security. Mission City is a short distance from I10 making it easy to access. The park is located in what appears to be an industrial area but we did not have any problem with noise.Bottom line, if we were in the area and needed a place to stay, Mission City RV Park would be our first choice.

Staff was very nice, welcoming, professional and funny. The public shower has great water pressure, gets nice and hot, however there s only 4. Our site was very clean and raked before we had arrived. The pool claims to be heated however, but only by the sun! Jokes aside they did say the pool heater had been replaced and was being worked on to be fixed. Overall an amazing stay.

Mission City RV Park is very close to San Antonio, you can utilize public transportation to venture downtown. The park is very clean and well decorated. We visited after Christmas so there were lots of lights still up. The park is a gated community which was very nice. The bath house is well maintained and the shower has excellent pressure! There are rooms with accessible outfits equipped with shower chairs. The laundry facility was very clean and easy to use. The front office staff is very helpful and service is exceptional. I purchased post cards to send home to my son s grandparents and they mailed it out for us. I had stamps but they sell these too. Our site was full equipped with electrical and water hook ups for our RV. The community was very friendly and we enjoyed our time with several other travelers. Very pet friendly.Nearby activities: Downtown San Antonio is not far at all. You can utilize public transportation or drive yourself.Safety: This is a gated community.

We came for the San Antonio Rodeo and sight seeing. Sites were close together but comfortably spaced. Mission City RV was super convenient for the rodeo. Campground was super clean and well maintained. Staff was always friendly and available to answer any questions. Prior to our arrival, Dan helped us make sure rodeo week went smooth by giving us helpful tips. We booked months ahead of the rodeo. We will definitely book here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Excellent RV Park, 5 rating.Exceptional customer service when we arrived. Escorted us to our site. Explained all our bus questions. Bathroom and showers were excellent, clean, hot water, great pressure. Our site was a pull through, approximately 90 feet long. We stayed hooked up with our 40ft 5th wheel. There is a city bus stop on the road literally at the entrance to Mission City. We took the #24 bus to and from The River Walk. Download the Via app to ride the bus, you can buy bus day pass less than 1/2 price of a onetime one way bus ride.Would definitely recommend this RV park.

I want to thank Fred for getting us in after our first place was full. Fred and the staff got us in our spot. This is a big RV lot with plenty of trees and long pull through spaces. The heated pool felt so good. They had a deck with pool furniture to lounge on and have an adult beverage. Super clean bathrooms and showers. The dog run is huge. Our dog enjoyed running around playing with another dog. We didn't use the Pavillion, but it was well stocked with BBQ'S and firewood.Location. 5 miles to the Riverwalk and the Alamo.

Mission City RV Park is big rig friendly. We stayed in a 45' 5th wheel for a month and had no issues navigating the park. The park is located near an active trucking distribution, so some truck noise will be heard.Everyone we interacted with at the park was friendly and helpful. They have a ton of metal creations throughout the park, please see our photos attached. They have many back in and pull-through sites to choose from. They can accommodate any size of rig. Most back in sites have plenty of room from side to side. Each site has their own picnic table, on a cement slab. The pull-through sites do not have a grass area, instead it is crushed rock. The water quality was excellent, with great press, and good flow rate. They have a huge dog park, and a swimming pool. The restroom and laundry facility were spotless and always stocked. The park adheres to quiet times and except for the trucks loading and unloading, the park is fairly quiet. The park is located minutes away from many restaurants and shopping. This location has good cell service. If this review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up.Thanks

WOW!!! We stayed at Mission City for the convenience, little did we know what we were actually getting. The park is immaculate and quiet, the sites are easy to get into and well kept. The staff was beyond helpful and kind. There is a transit bus that stops right outside the gate and will take you to the Alamo/River walk area it was $2.75 per person for 24hrs. No worries about parking or damage or theft or driving in a strange area!! Thank you Mission City RV Park for the GREAT stay, we'll be back!

The Park is well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. It is conveniently located. The dog park was good but could easily be better by making the one into two allowing separation of big and small dogs, plus creating more opportunities to use it.Nearby activities: Convenient to San Antonio activities.Safety: Gated and secure access.

Extremely well maintained inner city park with level pad sites and conveniently located near Freeway systems, and downtown with a Metro bus stop out front. Staff was friendly and willing to address your needs. Shout-out to Dan for going beyond expectations to assist me. I will certainly choose Mission City when in the area in the future.

We loved our week at Mission City RV Park. The staff are wonderful and accomodating. They really strive to ensure that you are well cared for and happy during your stay. The park is located in an industrial area, mixed with a low income neighborhood, however it is quiet, safe and gated. I never had a moment's concern about safety. Minutes from downtown San Antonio, with everything this beautiful city has to offer. There is a bus stop outside the main entrance to the resort and the #24 bus gets you downtown in 18 minutes. We purchased our Via bus pass online and were able to ride for 7 days on the $6 senior pass. Our site provided some shade, was large and level and well spaced. There are ample washers and dryers in the laundry room, and the showers are cleaned daily and private. I highly recommend this lovely resort.Safety: Secure, gated community. Well lit.

Great and friendly people. Kid friendly! They where always nice to my son and daughter when they went to get the mail. Gated community with bus stop at end of drive. Spacious lot size! I had my rv spot plus enough room for 3 cars to park. Back in and pull through lots!On-site laundry and shower facilities. The residents are wonderful people. The staff keep the park clean. The spacious bathrooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. The heated pool was a great relief during the winter time for me and my children. They have a pavilion for parties and several grills ,smokers, and and fire pits you can check out for free. I stayed her for almost a year for work and hated to leave. Thank you Fred and your staff for a wonderful stay. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay here again.Nearby activities: 15 min from downtown. Riverwalk is 10 min bus ride with a $3 full day bus passSafety: Gated community with staff on site a phone call away

I could not have been more pleased with my stay at this location. At first I was somewhat concerned because of its location in a relatively commercial area, but it proved to be incredibly quiet and extremely convenient for all of the areas I needed to access while visiting San Antonio. Every aspect of my stay was pleasant. I love the way the park is laid out. The staff in the office were very friendly and accommodating. Nice laundry facilities. I was very pleased. Definitely will stay again next time I'm in San Antonio.
