This is my second time going . And I have had a great experience. They are fast and they tell you what is wrong with the car and the price. Before they do the work. They do their best to try and find you the best deal. I feel that their prices are fair and reasonable.

Not going to lie but I was skeptical because of the 1 star reviews. I had already taken my Mazda 3 2013 to 2 other mechanics who specializes in electrical repairs and they not only told me to take it to the dealership but had left my AC/ heater panel disconnected.Sergio fixed all my electrical problems, and was what I consider very fair in his prices. He even ran the diagnostics right in front of me. I strongly recommend you give him a chance because I really don't recommend people but I'll definitely vouch for the work he's done on my car as legitimate.

The mechanic did repair the vehicle correctly but said his receipt machine wasn't working. He doesn't take credit cards, and I NEVER PAY CASH because of this. So I paid him via Zelle, and he told me that he would send me the receipt later on that day. He never did. A few weeks went by, and I had another job for him and gave me a little bit of a run around. I asked him for the receipt for the previous work he had performed and my proof of payment, but he said he did t remember me and that he was top busy. He lost my business for good now, and I will also be updating the BBB as well. I wonder if this guy pays taxes??? We shall see.

The service here at Martinez Auto repair is the best place to go and get you car or truck fixed in time .bring your car over. Nice and friendly staff .be ready to start driving again. I thought my car was going to take forever but it was fixed right away .enjoy

I wote the prior review on this company based off emotions and the experience i had. I felt that at the time the company was just trying to dismiss me and didn't want to deal me or my concerns.I got to speak with the owners wife today her name is Evelyn. She was very apologetic for the experience that we had encountered and was able to explain the situation to me. Which helped me feel better about the experience I had prior. She was willing to listen to me and willing to review our receipt. I thank her for letting me explain the situation and having a good attitude about it .I will never recommend this place to anyone. We took our car here a year ago for our air conditioner. They ended up having to replace the whole air conditioner kit. We paid 900.00 to get everything fix, and a year later the air conditioner went out again. The person who did the work will not even talk us now. This is horrible customer service. They did not provide an itemize receipt nor did they put how long the warranty was covered for. Now here we are in the hottest days with no air conditioner. We have a child who has to ride in a hot car. The least the man can do is come out and talk to us. Or even offer to look at it but now we can't even get a word out of him. He sends out another man to do his dirty work this is horrible. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I'm a repeat customer, I've brought my car here to get parts replaced at least three different times. My car is old so I'm always needing things fixed or replaced. Communication is great, availability is flexible, and you will not find a more reasonable price! I don't live close by but I take my car here because it's by far the fairest auto shop in the San Antonio area. Sergio speaks both english and spanish so that's helpful!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair

We went to get some lights fixed due to a short in the electrical harness. We were charged over $320 bucks just for a patch up and the short remains. I wouldn't recommend to someone close to me. Even the connections were made poorly. Overcharged and low quality repair.

Martinez has serviced 3 of my vehicles and each time has been a great experience all the way around . They are thorough with diagnostic checks and prices are unbeatable compared to alot of shops around town. I highly recommend this business if you want the job done rite the 1st time

They charged us $3000 to replace the head gasket and since it was paid the car has never run correctly again nor will they respond or return phone calls. They reassembled the engine incorrectly and now we have to either replace the engine or buy a new car (per the dealership). With car rentals, multiple rows, and Uber s....plus them having the car over 1.5 months with it going back three times due to overheating and the check engine light coming on a few hours after picking it up, we are out over $5000. They refuse to answer our calls or provide us with the parts they removed or receipts for parts purchase or description of what work they did.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I took my 2013 Chevy Suburban in to get it checked out and long behold the dreadful news of my Enginge is no longer working but Serigo the Owner assured me he would be able to find me a good used Engine with 90k miles on it and install it with a 3 month warranty and that my Truck than would have another 3-5 years life span lead me to believe that my Truck was in good hands he asked me to bring it in on that following Monday and that it would be ready by That Friday. Well I took it in on Sunday night so it would be there Early Monday so he could do his work and behold I got a phone call Wednesday Afternoon to let me know that all he had to do was test drive it on Thursday and that I would be able to pick it up Thursday Evening... I was Estatic because as we all know now in days Our Vehicles are no longer a luxury as much as a necessity. I sure am glad I was recommended to this Mechanic and belive me I will recommend him to anyone in need of a Good Reliable and on time shop.. I am 100% satisfied with there work. Thank You Serigo and to all his staff I really do appreciate it...

Took truck in for coil issue and left worse than before and even stole my original catalyst converter swapped for cheap weld on ones. These thieves are going to have a nice law suit coming their way if I don t get my original parts back. Watch who you trust your cars with. Don t trust these guys for sure!!!

reinstall new distributor correctly and set timing. Upon paying $300+ I was driving around going home 20 miles away when I got on freeway last couple miles and it was gutless and overheated, had to have it towed off freeway to my house. Called martinez and explained, said to bring it back and it not being driveable would have to tow due to timing way off. and they would not take care of the towing or come out two reset timing said too busy and wouldnt take care of tow. Had a real pro come over and fix it for a $100. martinez just ignored there mess up and shined me on.
