If you need your car painted this is the place to go. I called and visited several body shops before I went to Maaco on Clarence Street and I got the best deal from them. Their customer service was superb, Carlos was extremely professional and did what he needed to do to make sure my car was painted and back to me on time. The workmanship by the technician Mike was beyond superb. His skills are evident in the finished job. He took the extra time to clean and polish other areas of my car that I did not expect to be cleaned for example the tires and all the molding. Thank you you did a fantastic job.Service: Painting

I brought my 2012 Honda Civic in to have it worked on. The work was nothing short of phenomenal! The paint job was absolutely beautiful! My 2012 Honda Civic had the ugliest color, but by the time Maaco was finished with it, my car looked amazing! My Next door neighbors actually thought that I had gotten a new car! Carlos, helped me from the time I made the first phone call to Macao, on Clarence St., through picking the exact color for my car, and finally, making sure I had the best experience and everything I needed from them. I am really impressed by the guys at Maaco, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for bodywork, or paint jobs. I just couldn't be happier, and I know that I have made a business relationship for life! Thank you so much, guys!!

The truck was not ready in two weeks like promised. They kept it for over two months. When I did get the truck back, I had to take it back to them. Three times I had to take the truck back, and Gabriel, and Carlos gave nothing but excuse after excuse. Five months it took for them to finish a amateur job. It still wasn't painted right. Total cost for that botched job you ask, $12,955.00. Think I am not telling the truth , get off your butts and come see the truck for yourself. I am disappointed and upset. I do not recommend Maaco to repair and paint your vehicle.

I first came across this maaco under insurance/accident circumstances which can be a stressful time. I was very delighted to know I was in good hands with Carlos and his team. The facility is clean and he made sure to explain everything and answer questions so I had no qualms. They work with most insurance companies so that was a plus. When I got my car back it was washed and vaccum d which I was NOT expecting but also appreciated SO much considering I left them with my car a mess on the inside, like tbh a lil embarrassing but they re respectful and do good honest work. Looking forward to working with them again.(ps) repaired photo is my car 2 days after pickup. They really do wash ur car when they re done working on it :3

this particular Maaco is the repair shop for United Towing tow company in San Antonio Texas....their tow truck driver damaged my car AND they (United Towing) don't want to pay for the damage. The manager or owner George, knows his driver damaged my car but he still wants to give me the run around, he sent me to Maaco AND they did NOTHING

Disgusting immoral people here. Can t believe they have Christian stuff on the walls. Wish the owner would actually care about what his or her employees are doing if they actually decent people. They literally did huge damage to the inside of my car and have lied to me for over a year about fixing it. It s been over a year and I ve called and spoke to Carlos at least 10 times and even have recordings of him saying multiple times they are waiting on parts to fix my car and he has never called me back. Not even once. A complete immoral liar. Lawsuit is coming soon before my statute of limitations runs out. I ll be giving them a final call soon.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I used this location for repairs when my wife hit a deer with our vehicle. They took over a month to do the repairs and when I got the vehicle back the hood and fender still weren't aligned, the check engine light was still on and the remote start/air conditioning didn't work. I pointed out these problems but had to take my care back since my rental coverage was expiring and they promised to help fix it as quickly as possible. My insurance had already paid them and they had already collected my deductible.After ONE YEAR (!!!!) they are still jerking me around and not answering calls, not calling back, and haven't fixed ANYTHING else! I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. Horrible service and I am going to be out an additional $500 to have the dealership fix everything because they ignore me. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint that they ignored as well (check it out, its on their site).Save yourself time, money, and MASSIVE headaches by going to somewhere else. On June 12th 2019 I took my Toyota Tundra into this Maaco to get a full body paint job. I was told they would try to have it done by the 28th but it would done by the 3rd. After a few days I stopped by to get something out of my vehicle and noticed it hadn't been touched again. After this I decided to pop in and or call every 3 or 4 days to make sure this didn't happen again. The finish date was pushed back 3 times and finally I called on the 6th and was told it would be ready by 2pm (it wasn't ready until 3). I start it up and notice that something was wrong and was forced to take right back to them on Monday since they were closed as soon as I left. Over the weekend my mobile mechanic was able to diagnose that it was an electrical issue caused by them incorrectly rewiring something.Today (Tuesday) they called and said the after market headlights that were installed (4yrs ago) are what's causing this. I told them to stop blaming irrationally and to find an appropriate solution. It worked perfect when I dropped it off and this couldn't possibly be the problem. I am still without a vehicle and waiting for a resolution......This is a poorly managed paint shop. The customer service is accusatory and not proactive. If at all possible avoid paying for services at this location. It's not worth the stressor wasted time and money.Side note: to be fair the paint looks good.Update I recieved my truck back lastnight. They don't know how they fixed it but they did. I have some punctures in my passenger seat and 2 of the logos they installed fell off.Second update. I'm still having electrical issues that I didn't have previously. I emailed the "Owner" as he requested and he has yet to get back with me.

Absolutely the best! I caused some deep scratches to my 10 year old car and they eliminated the scratches, perfectly matched the paint and completed on time as promised. Highly recommended!

Very happy with my recent experience here. Carlos was able to fix my steel bumper that every other place I took it to for a estimate said was impossible to fix and required a full bumper replacement. Not only did they fix it, but they were $1000 cheaper than everywhere else. Great job!!

My family had a 5-star experience with Gabriel and the team at this Maaco location. They left our dented, rusting 2004 Corolla looking like a brand, new car. Along with the paint job they did a good job of fixing both scratches and dents. I would recommend their business to anyone looking to add value to their car.

If i could rate them higher i would!Carlos was a big help & understanding.I mentioned i needed my car painted in a crunch and he was able to get my car painted earlier than the deadline. They did a great job & even attached some parts that i was not expecting them to do.At the end they cleaned the exterior of my car and the interior as well.They really took care of me and my car.Funny story as well my tire had a slow leak and they put air in for me & immediately after that my battery died and they offered to help me jump the car as well.Might just break my car again to come back and visit :pService: Painting

Wow! Hands down the best experience I ve had with an auto body shop. Carlos, the main guy I worked with, was absolutely attentive, courteous, and communicative, as was the rest of the crew! I came in to get my bumper repaired, and they did an amazing job in a timely manner. My car looks brand new. Plus- they vacuumed and washed it! I cannot say enough GREAT things about my experience at Maaco. I was in San Antonio for training, 5 days before I was set to depart, my truck was broken into. Because of the way they broke into my vehicle, I needed a whole new door. Khalid got me in the very next morning for an estimate, which was a Saturday. This was the ONLY body shop I could get into that day. Khalid was very up front with me about the timeline but said he would do everything he could to speed it along. The next hurdle was the insurance company. I received a call right away on Monday that Khalid had submitted all the paperwork for the insurance company to do their thing. By the end of that day everything was approved and Khalid had ordered the parts. He kept me up to date the whole time about the process and where my vehicle was at in the process. They had my truck done one day sooner than they had quoted me. I was only delayed by one day from my original departure plans because of the amazing service I received here. Everyone was polite, kind, and professional. I would without a doubt be a returning customer if I lived in the area. It is easy to complain when services rendered are not as expected; yet, one tends to forget to praise a company and their employees when customer's needs are satisfied above and beyond expectations. To change that paradigm, let me state that from the General Manager, Carlos, Front Desk Support, Courtney, and the talented technicians whose skills are clearly visible on the final product, the team at Maaco on 126 Clarence St., deserves recognition for outstanding quality of labor and services. I was positively impressed with the stress free atmosphere of the shop and with their honest and friendly -yet respectful- approach to customer service. The feeling of knowing one is working with trustworthy professionals is priceless. Since details are important, driving in to pick up the vehicle and seeing a dedicated employee carefully detailing the car as if it were his own, shows that at this location, everyone knows how critically important they ALL ARE to the successful completion of job. Exceptional service from everyone at this location. The attention to detail, timeliness, professionalism and communication far exceeded my expectations. Dealing with insurance claim repairs is rarely ever a pleasant experience but Maaco allowed for a seamless experience- from coordinating and communicating with our insurance company and rental facility to ensure everything was done effectively and efficiently. The body work done on my vehicle was immaculate, overall if I could rate higher than 5 stars I would- because quite frankly they did an amazing job. Kudos to the entire staff!Service: Body & Trim

Came here to get some work done on my car. I needed a new rim and paint work. Khalid was super nice and helpful from the start. He gave me an estimate and walked me through the steps. They stayed honest about pricing from start to finish. My car was ready in a reasonable amount of time and the work looks stunning! I m so thankful Maaco was able to help me out and give me an estimate on the spot. When I got my car back I noticed they had detailed the inside and outside! I had a great experience with Maaco. From the start of my first call with questions that I got answered due to Insurance issues, to the final finished product. The staff was so friendly from Day 1 and kept in constant communication on the status of my vehicle. My Jeep looks brand new "off the lot* and is a 2014 model.I've gotten so many compliments, to this day. Thank you guys at Maaco. They did a quality and sound job with my 2010 Chevy Malibu. The paint was Quality and the inside was cleaned very nicely. Took a little longer than anticipated. It was also a nice touch to preserve my military badges.Would rate it five stars but no one is perfect.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I had got and estimates for repairs on my challenger a week ahead of time it was supposed to be a 2 hour job I dropped it off in the morning and went to the gym. When I had got back from the gym the only thing that was removed where the covers that snapped off. I had let the shop know ahead of time that it was my only vehicle and I needed it back. I ended up helping pull off the bumper and grill off the car and trying to put it back together. The entire workforce with over 60-70 years old. Didn't have the necessary tools or equipment to do repairs(we used a wrench to smack fasteners in). I ended up coming out of pocket $350 for a really bad job. Now it's gonna cost me a lot more to fix it.

Maaco try to put cheap rim in my Mercedes car I will not expect and will bring them to court. Look at my AMG Mercedes rim the dealer price for each rim is $1475 and look at the cheap rim maaco put onus a concept one only $689.99, I have the company and phone number to prove it on the picture I post . The owner of This Maaco shop try to scam on the cheap part, don t ever bring your car to this shop. Yes the staff is nice but what good does it do when the owner is a cheat and scram

The service is very personable here. Strong shout out to Carlos the manger for listening to me about the challenges of my car and recommending the correct service. My service fee came in under half of the original estimate. Now that's service. The staff is very friendly there as well. The car door handle fell apart and was listless and not working.Initially I took my car to another shop but they wouldn't even look at it for two and a half weeks. I showed up at Maaco and spoke with Carlos, they were fifteen minutes from closing but he took time out of his busy day to take care of me get me an estimate.Take your car here, speak with Carlos, Khalid is cool too.Sorry I don't have a before picture but this handle was in shambles, now it's fixed.Service: Body & Trim
