The best place to get your BMW and Mini serviced. I have been going here for over 2 years for oil changes and brake changes, and they even did a complete motor swap. This team will go above and beyond to help you with your needs at a reasonable price. They are always busy and have a high turnover, so make sure you call and schedule your appointment.

Are you tired of paying an outrageous amount of your hard earned money to a dealership that is just trying to squeeze out every penny out of you? Well, the men at this location provide the same or even better services for your vehicle at a much more reasonable price. Additionally, they'll install those sweet performance parts that you've been keeping an eye for just the cost of labor (assuming you bring in those parts). When it comes to maintenance, upgrades, or repairs, I recommend the staff of M-Technik to facilitate your needs.- Black, 2015 335i GT

Incredibly knowledgeable of BMW, plus good people to talk with. Not snobby like the condescending dealer dweebs. Can't recommend M Technik enough. Once you go to M Technik you won't go back to the dealer for your BMW service.

These guys are completely dishonest and try to disguise it as being helpful. My boyfriend brought his BMW to this place twice. The first time went fine, they changed a belt that needed to be replaced for much cheaper than the dealership was wanting to do it. The red flag was that they continued to try and convince him how much more honest they are than other places. This time, he brought it in for an oil change. The RED FLAG this time was they told him they would be completing a complimentary diagnostic test on his car. They TOLD him. They didn t ask or offer. His check engine light wasn t on. They just said they were doing it. Lo and behold, the diagnostic revealed he had an oil leak and radiator leak. They said it d be about $2000 to fix both and asked if they would be repairing it for him today. He respectfully declined to receive a quote from a second shop that I know a bit more personally. The second shop found absolutely nothing wrong with either parts. They checked the engine WITH HIM to explain what it would look like if either of those things were leaking and said that his engine was completely clean and running well, and ran their own diagnostic with him present that revealed absolutely nothing wrong with the car. At all. Sure, go get your maintenance here. But when it comes major work, get a second quote. I didn t trust these guys from the get go, good work speaks for itself and doesn t need to try and convince customers that their honest. We will not be returning. Not even for the oil changes. They didn t check his taillight like he asked them to, what he actually requested to be checked was completely ignored. Perhaps because a taillight isn t as much money to fix as a leaking radiator/oil .

This place rocks! I recently visited San Antonio and discovered that I had a torn axle boot. Since I was not familiar with BMW repair shops in San Antonio, I had to look at reviews for places near my hotel. The reviews were stellar so I called them and spoke with Alex. Alex was great; very friendly and helpful. He was able to look at my car the next day. That was awesome since I was leaving San Antonio in 48 hrs.The next day I pulled in the garage and Will(the owner who has many years experience as a BMW mechanic) examined my axle. Will explained my options and set realistic expectations. After speaking with Will I was confident that he would do a quality repair.I did end up having to leave my car overnight since they needed to order a part. I was so impressed with their service! Will corrected a couple of other small issues with my X5 for no additional cost. Wow! He even sanded and polished my headlights for a very reasonable cost. Will and Alex were awesome! Don't hesitate taking your BMW there. I like that they only work on BMW's. I wish I could take my BMW for future repairs! Thanks again for the awesome service!

The team and business at M-Technik has grown, shifted and changed over the years. They still strive to maintain good working customer relationships, have deep technical knowledge, and the most important corner stone, the passion. The M-Technik team has been my backup for any job I can't DIY and has worked or maintained several vehicles of mine over the years. I don't really trust anyone else with my BMWs.

M-tec takes the time to actually diagnose the problem. They actually fixed the problem in my x5 for half the cost of the dealer (who would have replaced the wrong part and still have the problem at the end). They also were happy to walk through the steps of their work and how they made their decision and plans. Trust them for all my bmw work

Great place with an awesome team!I moved to San Antonio from Columbus, Ohio and after taking my car to only a BMW dealer, I couldn't be more happier to have found this place. If you have a BMW and need a good place for service, then look no further as this is a GREAT place.The staff is friendly and welcoming, not to mention they take pride in what they do. I have to give a shout out to Alex as he always great to work with and follows through providing all the information you need for peach of mind.I've already had a few minor to major repairs(turbochargers replaced) including some mods and I must say this is the place to go for all of your BMW needs.

Moved out here from California at the beginning of the year and drove my e92 out. Lucky had my water pump fail after I got out here. Called a couple shops and they were all booked for weeks but M-Technik. Brought my car in on Monday and it was ready the next day witch really blew my mind. Most places especially work on European cars will take a week plus. Definitely love the communication and the system they have to approve work witch makes getting your car in and out so much faster. Talking to the owner he said himself that he doesn't like cars there longer than 3 days and I respect that cause we a need our cars especially when something happens randomly and you have work. 10/10 Definitely take your car here for quality and fast work

I took my 2016 BMW 328i to a shop in south Austin for a headlight adjustment. When I left, the check engine light was on. They said they had nothing to do with that. The also didn t fix the headlight issue. I tried M-Technik bc of the good reviews. Very glad I did! All the guys were professional and experienced. They fixed everything and changed my oil at a very fair price. I will definitely be going back to this shop for future BMW needs.

The guys at M-Technik have helped me so much. I ve had my 2009 BMW 335i since high school (2012) and they have been my GO TO guys for all my BMW services. They have managed to keep this car (and it s issues) always running. Alex Berry and Will and others have been extremely helpful and I could not thank them enough for all the help on my car. They have it running like brand new.Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Greatest Experience with car technicians EVER-These guys have a checklist for a checklist-Driving an older BMW (2009 X5 4.8i) repairs come up. Was a little overwhelmed with the quote from BMW in SA-called Alex and his quote was relieving, not only for me but, my family. Could not believe the difference in customer service and delivery of my repair-refreshing change. I cannot recommend this shop more! We appreciate the hard work and dedication these guys put into their work! 10 Stars ALL THE WAY **********

You will not find a more qualified BMW facility in Central Texas.I was always greeted promptly and always treated fairly. I always appreciate the suggested preventative maintenance and believe it's kept my vehicle on the road and in tip top shape. I highly recommend William and his staff. Sincerely, a customer for life.

I like the fact that it's not like BMW of San Antonio, where you have to schedule an appointment and wait a month and a half to be seen. These guys took care of us. We were in and out with no problems. They explained everything to us. The mechanic Will, is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to BMW's, and the prices were very affordable. I recommend these guys to whomever needs work done on there BMW's. Great group of guys here.

I've owned 3 BMWs and have been to several shops. These guys are hands down the best BMW shop in town. They clearly know what they're doing. Prices are good and customer service is great. They won't tell you that you need some BS you don't. Only what needs to be done is done. Alex and the guys will take care of you and your BMW

If you're fed up with service at the dealer, this is an excellent alternative. They are BMW specific, and will quote up-front and never come up with surprises. The only issue is that they don't really have a waiting room, so be prepared to walk a few blocks to the Pearl to pass time.

Honestly these guys offer some of the best service EVER !!!! I took my Mini in for regular service, a tuneup and an engine mount. For everything that I paid it came out to be a fraction of just what ONE item would run me at the dealer. Alex listened to my needs and had my car ready the same day, WOW !!! It now runs like new or I think better thank you so much !!!! And it s just down the street from me so just an over all win ... CUSTOMER FOR LIFE !!

I can't rave enough about them! BMWs are reliable so long as you maintain them. Alex and the rest of the crew at M-Technik are my go-to guys for everything with my X5 and 3 series. They've always given me honest feedback and I trust them with their repairs. Definitely the best local place to get your BMW worked on!

I drive all the way from Austin just for these guys... Should help to explain my level of satisfaction from the M Tech boys. As a BMW enthusiast, I only trust the absolute best with my car, M Technik has proven themselves to surpass these requirements every time.Not only do they know their stuff, but their prices are seriously hard to beat. Alex happily runs every customer through each and every detail on an invoice, further ensuring that the customer is fully aware of what they're paying for. The work is on time, highly professional, and always comes with a healthy dose of advice and true gear head knowledge.If you're looking for a shop that you can trust, one that takes pride in what they do and isn't there solely for the profit, stop by M Technik. Easily hands down one of the best BMW specific shops in the entire state.

This is my go-to place for anything and everything BMW.Being a young woman who doesn t know a whole lot about cars (except that I LOVE bmws) I can potentially get *taken for a ride* at a mechanic shop.I was pleasantly surprised by how nice, professional and down to earth all the guys that work there are. They are kind, helpful and really know their stuff.I have a 335D and the check engine light seems to go off all the time, the guys there are sure to break down everything for me so I understand, not only the problem, but what my options are.They let me know what I can leave for a bit longer, or what needs to be fixe right away for either safely reasons or because it will damage the car.They also got a new hunter laser alignment machine that was super on point for aligning my tires. Update 01/31/2019Just saw these guys again today and they are so helpful and really explain things in a way that I can understand what I need to address and what can wait.This is still my go to for all my Bmw needs.... happy client for a few years now, and still recommend them highly.

The most important thing any BMW owner can do is find a great independent mechanic. Luckily, google pointed me straight at M Technik!!! I was here for only 3 months and ended up having them do a lot of work on my car because I trusted them. Honest, reliable, and always at a half of what the dealer wants!

Extremely knowledgeable and passionate shop. No matter if your bmw is being a BMW and dumping coolant or you're building a race car, these guys have it handled.So my issue was that my e36 dumped coolant in the parking lot at work, I had no way to find out where it was leaking from so I called M-Technik to see if they could get me in quickly. They pressure tested my system and found the leak quick.

Alex is a class act. We had a PCV valve cover assembly replaced on our 2009 328i by M-Technik in April of 2020, right before we moved from San Antonio to Nashville. On our drive to Nashville in August, the part they replaced failed. I called Alex, and he offered to warranty the part and labor if I brought it in. Unfortunately, I was in Nashville and wasn't planning to come back to San Antonio until December. He recommended a shop in Nashville and told me he would honor the warranty when I came back. I went ahead and got the fix done in Nashville, and when we came back in December he made good on his word and gave me a full refund for the parts and labor. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism. He didn't have to warranty the labor, but he did, and during an especially tough year impacted by COVID-19, he went WAY above and beyond my expectations. If we ever move back to SA, M-Technik will always be our go-to spot. If you have a BMW in SA and want better, more transparent service than the dealer (and at a lower cost), you absolutely should trust M-Technik.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Overall, the staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional. I think the shop is understaffed; I have only ever seen two mechanics there at a time, but I think they are able to prioritize their work to get customers who need a fast turn around in and out. Generally, they respond to inquires in a timely manner, but there have been some instances where I did not receive responses as I would have liked. The prices have been fair, and cheaper than quotes I received from other places. I leave satisfied, and confident in their work. I have never been to the shop more than once for the same issue, as opposed to other shops in the past.

If you own a BMW this is where you take it for repairs or maintenance! I called to ask about costs before heading to the shop. Everyone I spoke to actually listened to me, then thoroughly explained the answer to all of my questions. I didn't feel rushed or pressured like I have at some other shops. This is the first time I can say that having repairs done to my car was a pleasant experience. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness!

These guys know their stuff. If you need BMW work then you need to bring it here, I've been bringing my E46 for about 3 years now and Will has helped me from light bulbs to oil leaks. He knows my car better than me. Up to date with all the new BMW systems so theres no reason not to head here.

Alex and the guys at the shop were extremely helpful when I brought my car in today, awesome people and and awesome shop. Will definitely be bringing my car back here and I recommend to anyone with a BMW performance or not these are the guys you want to be working on your bmw. Thanks again guys.

Absolutely THE place to take your BMW. Let's face it we don't drive toyotas, you know it'll break eventually, and having a repair shop you can trust to take care of both you, your wallet and your car is vital. The couple of times I've been here they've gone out of their way to ensure everything is taken care of. Really can't recommend this place enough.

Polite, fun and most of all they are there to help you get your BMW back up and running at peak performance with Master Certified BMW mechanics who will treat your baby as if it were one of their own, all within a price range that beats the pants off of the dealerships!
