This store will start work on your truck without telling you what they are doing and how long it will take.I went in for a state inspection, they changed my oil that I didn't request and that I had done 2 weeks ago, they wanted to change my breaks and after telling them, no I don't have time several times, they changed my battery and had to stop everything.... I just came in to get an inspection.They see a fleet truck and they want to take your truck all day to make money on the fleet truck.

There's nothing Jiffy about this location. I waited 1 hour didn't get an oil change and the workers serviced vehicles that arrived after me. This location doesn't know how to take cars in the order they arrive. It seems they treat some customers better than others. I left because my money can be spent better elsewhere.

Got there at 8:45. No customers. Asked or inspection. Employee said be right with you . And nothing. Waited several minutes and nothing. They had no customers. No customers service, no sense of urgency. Just left to go to Vollmer (excellent service). This jiffy lube is not jiffy and very poorly managed.

What a wonderful experience!I absolutely despise stopping to get my car serviced, I have kids it s a whole thing. It s really annoying to have to take both of them out of the car but here I don t have to. They let me know what I need. They told me that I needed to get my brakes checked and that I needed some coolant. I wouldn t have known I needed to do any of they hadn t let me know. They are rough tumbling looking guys but they are super friendly. They even smiled and chatted with my nine month old little boy who I held in the front seat while he cried. Very kind crew of guys.

Very quick, easy and affordable w holiday promotion $25 off oil change. Everybody was very sweet and accommodating as I have a messed up back and were very polite and professional! Thanks Chris and Eli! Great customer service. Made what's usually a nitemare (oil changes in general) a piece of cake!

Waited about 45 min for a state inspection and still never got service even though they kept saying 5 more minutes. Eventually left. Wouldn t go here again.

You need new break pads before too long, but we would like you to buy them today here or we will fail your inspection . Suggested repairs are reasonable but a bad faith sales pitch in while holding our inspection is not same. Break pads definitely have life left, while they are not new, not unsafe currently and breaks function well. 25 years driving and I ve not had anything like this happen, ever. Sales tactics can benefit customers and companies at times, but when not in good faith it breaks customer trust. Do better guys, do better. 10 min later I drive to a jiffy lube 2 miles away and they inspect car as is and pass. Bad business forcing an unnecessary upsell in order to approve inspection . do better.

I have been to the location at 5921 San Pedro Avenue a few times. They are consistently positive and informative. Everyone whom I have interacted with is obviously well-trained in customer service, but they are also natural at caring for people- from what I have seen. Jiffy Lube has earned my business based on this location. Thank you!

This location started going downhill some 5-8 years ago. Example: they sold me a battery that died less than a year later. Another mechanic told me that battery was underpowered for my car, and "an experienced mechanic wouldn't have put that battery in there"... Then there was the time I bought 2 wiper blades but they only installed 1. A second trip got me the second blade. After quitting on them for a couple years I went back to see if there was any improvement, that was my last visit ever

I went to get my car serviced. They claimed so my tires had bad tread and needed replacement. I had just gotten one new tire so I knew that wasn't true. Went to discount tires and yep, 2 of my tires were fine. This was my second experience with this place and I won't be going back.

Great place with a great team. Individual mechanics are very thorough, careful, and conscientious. I watched them check and re-check (and correct where needed) fluid levels, filters, and lights. Had my car inspected. A small cloth bag containing 3 James Avery charms that was under some paper work and my handicapped placard was taken. I got to the next stop after the inspection and picked up the paperwork and the bag was gone. This was the only place it was left unattended and granted I should have taken it with me but it was under everything and I was rushed out of my car so I just didn't grab it. Guess I should not have trusted.

About 3weeks ago I ask the manager Justin to have the general manager contact me about went back a week later to ask why no response he said Ben taking time off ok still no response for general manager very poor customer service but I guess they d care I asked for another person I spoke to months back named Sam could call because she was very nice still no response it is so bad when a company doesn t even acknowledge u oh well still waiting

Don t waste your time, this location is terribly slow! Arrived at 4:15pm for an oil change. All three bays full. I m next car to arrive and am directed to far right bay. Far left bay finishes and departs. Middle bay same- except they pull the car that arrived AFTER me in to service first. Far left remains empty. Finally left at 5:15pm with no acknowledgment or consideration.

I was disappointed to see that I was charged $11 instead of $7 for my vehicle's Texas state inspection --- not because the fee has increased but because Jiffy Lube had added an unannounced, unauthorized $4 "shop supplies" fee in clear violation of Texas Administrative Code Title 37 Part 1 Chapter 23 Subchapter C Rule 23.25, "Vehicle Inspection Fees". No repairs or maintenance were performed, so no shop supplies were needed or used. I have been to this Jiffy Lube location many times for my state inspection in the past, and this is the first time they've tried to pull this scam.Update 3/18/24: Like one of the other reviewers, I emailed them as requested below and never heard back.

Bad feeling from the start. Place seems shady. I was there for about an hour. And I noticed they treated the women different from the men. First I went in for an oil change. I know I need a new filter but they didn't try to upsell me with the replacement. That never came up. However every woman there they tried to tell them their cars had all kinds of issues. I think they assumed they could get away with that. So women be careful at this place.

Do NOT come here for a car inspection. They will try to find something else with the car. The skinny, short haired guy opened my hood to look into it, just for a simple inspection, which is not part of the inspection. And then , when i tried to stick around to observer that they would put everything which they took out which was not part of the inspection (to try to make more money) he told the manager in the pony tail : incredible. He told me that boss forces him to open people's hood, regardless and that there is a camera over head watching. My next 2 calls will be to Jiffy Lube corporate and to the state of Texas.

Very poor service! Oil filter left loose and leaking!!!!! Oil speel inside and the tech didn t clean the hands and left oil marks on handle and door panel

Place is old and in need of repair. There's homeless people hanging out there. The manager wasn't all too interested in making sure I was taken care of while I waited on my car.
